DISCRIMINATION AND ACCUSATIONUpon entering the store, an employee or manager of TOPS, began to follow me supposedly discreetly, I was looking for some cosmetics for my partner and some personal objects, I realized this situation and wanted to accuse myself that I was going to steal something because of this the objects that I grabbed I left them lying in the box, all this is to the bad thought of the Latin community, they should boast of acting like this, they are more human not all we are the same.

Nice place to shop, clean enough everyday. But prices are super high. However, their sales on selected grocery items are some of the best. Crew is very nice.

Decent store, but they jack up prices on items when it's buy 2 get 3 free. Otherwise it's very good for their baked goods and produce.

I've been noticing for the last 3 months everytime e I get meat or cheese from the grab and go there have been extra pieces of deli paper in the package now it's getting out of control. Why does sliced cheese need to be wrapped in 4 pieces of paper it may not sound like a lot but if they weigh the paper with the product everytime they do that it adds up and with the price of groceries I can't afford to get ripped off just a little bit EVERY time .. the manager and I are going to have a conversation next time I go in there and they better compensate me somehow or I will be taking my business elsewhere and my household spends around $300 a month on food. In short they're raising prices and giving you less product than what you pay for.

Its a nice store and I shop here often, however one thing that needs work is the Women's restroom . The last few times I have been in and needed to use the ladies room it was filthy with no toilet paper and pieces of toilet paper all over and urine on the seat! The counter and sinks were not clean either which is particularly concerning during a pandemic.

Didn't have all the advertised products. Cashier did her job, but didn't greet me and literally said may be 5 words AND didn't say thank you for shopping at tops. Front desk had a long slow line but employee very nice. Store well kept on the plus side and some good sale items.

I have been a loyal shopper here until now. I have been waiting in the bottle return for 24 minutes now. The machine said it was full so I asked for help and a young kid came. He opened the machine, said it's not full and walked away. I put 1 bottle in and guess what? It's full. I had to track someone down again for help and the kid came back. He said "I guess I'll find someone to help me empty it" and walked away again. If he couldn't help then why did he come in the first place? He came back with another kid about 5 minutes later and took the bins to empty. They are still not back yet. I understand that things happen, but I used to do this for a living and it should not take nearly this long. I am very disappointed.

Stopped here to check for a local item that Wegmans has stopped carrying and found it in-stock in abundance. While there I walked the entire store and was quite impressed. Store was spotless and well stocked. Also the atmosphere was like the grocery store I remember as a kid - just made me feel good. I'll be back - I just found my "new" grocery store !

Absolutely everytime we go in there, there are piles of expired food on shelves, above the "fresh" produce is feet and feet of mold from not cleaning the misters. We've gone in 4 times in the last year, always willing to give them another chance, and without fail we have to bring something to the attention of the managers on duty. They're friendly enough, but that's little in the way of selling food that can make you sick. I'll post the pictures of the mold that hangs over the produce. Anywhere but here. The management team needs to be removed, retrained, or replaced. Unacceptable.

The store is fine... I have one complaint and it's about whoever bakes the sugar cookies. Whoever it is is obviously lazy and doesn't care about the quality of their work! The sugar cookies are always over baked and the frosting is applied with no care at all! There is barely any on there in the first place! Sometimes there isn't any at all! I have to drive all the way to the Fayetteville store just to get good sugar cookies! Get it together tops north Syracuse!

Shop here often and am able to find everything I need just wish they would change there culture and become as there slogan says a friendly market associates and managers do not engage customers and rarely do they ever even make eye contact Pete in the meat department is great as is one of the managers named Ed they always say hello and smile time to start paying attention to customers who took the time to come into your building

Too many empty shelves today. Poor fresh produce selection. No pork tenderloin and no cut up whole chickens. More empty space on the bakery breads shelves than product. Really? Did they forget to restock the store after the weekend ... It's Tuesday!! And as always, expired products not removed. The issues at this location continue and get worse with each visit.

On 10/8 my sister who's husband just died recently was using foodstamps because she lost her entire income due to his passing and the cashier Christina who seemed fine at first , suddenly had an attitude after finding out foodstamps were being used. Apparently she has an issue with this. We are sorry my sister is going through traumatic times and we will make sure if someone is struggling ever again that we don't inconvenience her highness

This place showed me that Wegmans is the standard. I walked in and got my items. I went to the register. The girl did not sanitize anything The belt not sanatized. I asked why and she says we’re busy and try to do It when it’s not busy. Mind you the store was not busy. She also was wearing rubber gloves touching everybody’s items including the persons in front of me. She never changed them and then moved on to mine. On top of this poor display of sanitization during a pandemic, the keys on the card machine had plastic over it which doesn’t do anything for limiting the spread. Absolutely abizmal Tops. Send a secret shopper to Wegmans and learn. BTW your cashier was snarky as well when ask why the sanitary measures were not being uphold.

Great place to shop but the bathroom at the front of the store smells so bad I started going to Pond Street because the bathroom isn’t nastier than I can deal with like the North Syracuse store

They don't always have what I need but when the managers see Me come in late night they open a register just 4 Me. That means A LOT 2 Me! They Do this bcuz I'm a regular with a difficult check out 4 New employees. I adore the staff @ this Location.

Why can’t you clean your ladies room? I have never seen it clean. It’s always a filthy mess. Come on. Your restrooms are right in the front of your store. Take a little pride in the place.

Pretty clean store and nice staff. I found most of stuff I needed (non-dairy), but bit more expensive. I came from the city and things just over priced. I would have chose drive a bit further to get daily stuff next time.

This was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. I’m usually pretty understanding but there was absolutely no one to ask For help and when I finally found a staff member he looked me in the eye and walked away. Horrible service and horrible set up. I will never go here again.

Good selection, layout is a little weird. Annoying buy 2 discount but one is full price unlike Wegmans. Automatic doors in disrepair. Some aisles are very narrow.

Doesn't seem to have the best produce, we prefer Wegmans. other then that, seems ok. We like their big "buy one, get all this for free" specials which typically provide enough to make a few meals out of the 'buy one' item.

Staff at front end could care less about you, some times standing at register waiting for cashier to came back from socializing w other workers. I have had to ask other staff if anyone is working. Everyone I talk to also dreds having to cash out at this north Syracuse tops cause of long lines and rude Elderly woman cashiers.

Everything, and I literally mean EVERYTHING in this store is over priced. Things that are a dollar everywhere else are $1.29. That's just one example, and I'm not just making this statement with no proof. I've written down the prices of all my groceries at TOPS, Wegmans, Price Rite, Price Chopper And Aldi's and compared them all. Without a doubt TOPS charges more on 95-98% of all their products when compared to the other stores. SO, if you are in a hurry and this is the closet grocery store to you, by all means go here...(that's the only reason I was here). BUT, if you have the time and like saving money, any of the stores I've listed above are a wayyyy better option!
