The staff was super nice... and I really don't like leaving less than 5 stars ... However the store was under staffed ... you can't run in and run out ... even the check out system has huge lag ... updated systems and more staff ... than 5 stars would be very easy to see.

Went there to get supplies for cat and puppy I am fostering. I purchased a plug in pheromones diffuser, puppy and car food. But I couldn't find specific cat treats I was looking for. And the associate took me to several they had available. I was able to select what I wanted. Everyone was very helpful and supportive.

Well I definitely won't shop from Petco again. They have a 30 day return policy and won't budge even if it was purchased as a gift for someone prior to Christmas. Even Amazon gives you until January 31 to return items around the holidays. Yes, they will give you store credit, but their products are more expensive than at other stores so I'd rather just a refund. My item was purchased online on December 13. Delivered December 15. Christmas is obviously December 25 and today is January 19, but nope, I'm out of luck they say. Buy your stuff on Amazon is my recommendation. I can't think of any reason I'd ever need something from Petco that desperately that I'd put up with poor customer service.

Took our foster to be groomed. Dana and Jennifer were great. Dana took extra special care of him and had to do a lot of work on our poor guy because he was badly matted and had never before had his coat goomed as he should. The process was a long and drawn out event but but Dana made sure that he felt safe and would be comfortable again after all that nasty matted fur was gone! I'm so glad she was there to help make the whole experience that much easier for all of us! Couldn't be happier with their work and kindness! š

Great store for pet treats, food and all the required toys and accessories for pets, they have dog grooming as well they are very friendly and took good care of my dog definitely recommend this place. Store is maintained very clean.

Worked with Rebecca. She helped us get fitted for a walking harness for our American bully. He showed an amazing turn around and she gave us some great training tips. We saw an immediate response. 1000% recommend !

Love the Aquatic section. There is an awesome variety of FW and SW fish that you normally do not see at most Petco Stores. There aquatic plant selection is amazing. The tanks were clean and fish were healthy. Also they offer a wide variety of fish that can be special ordered. I recently ordered 3 Mono Argentus that arrived absolutely stunning healthy and very active. The manager is extremely knowledgeable and is eager to help with any questions you have. I will definitely be returning for all my aquatic needs.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the groomers at this location. I was here visiting my family for the long holiday and my dog needed to be groomed so I figured why not go here since my family lives very close by. I also go there for cat and dog food. But oh boy. Never again. I scheduled a grooming appointment online for my Yorkie mix. Her hair is overgrown with it covering her face. I scheduled the appointment for 5 PM on a Friday night because that was the only time I had free to do so. I had appointments and family obligations the entire day. But I did find time to stop at her vet to pick up her vaxx records. Anyhow. I received some missed phone calls from this petco at about noon that day. I didnāt answer because 1. Unknown number. And 2. I was with family all day. I just didnāt have time to answer. It happens. Anyhow, I was able to read the transcript quickly from the voicemail and they were asking me to come in sooner like 1:30. I had checked the voicemail at like 1. Anyhow. 4:45 rolls around and my husband brings our dog for appointment. First thing he was told is they do not cut dogs with such short hair. Also, we go to groomers all the time in NYC and they cut her hair with no problem. I scheduled a cut, bath, glands expression, nail trim, teeth cleaning, the works. Both of the groomers just keep telling my husband he would be wasting his money if he wanted to get our dog cut. Okay fine. No cut. Also, itās our money. We can make that decision. They also did not offer to even clean her and just kept saying very rudely how we didnāt call them back to come in earlier. Like wow. So what? Finally my husband relented and just asked for a nail trim since he felt awkward and like he was bothering them. Spoke to the store manager, Eliza, the next day about it all. She said she would speak to the groomers to find out what happened and would call me back. Didnāt call me back. I called today and she said she tried but I didnāt answer. I have no missed calls. I actually kept the phone in my pocket to make sure I didnāt miss a call. She also just kept saying how they donāt cut dogs that short. Which was not the point. We were not offered the wash. She said my husband should have asked. Why would we have to bring that up and they kept saying we were wasting our money! It was not offered! The groomers were rude and mad that we didnāt reschedule so they could leave early or not do anything for the rest of the day. The store manager was absolutely unhelpful. I was in sales for many years and if I couldnāt offer one thing then I would definitely offer another. They just didnāt care and made my husband feel very uncomfortable like he was bothering them. I will never shop at a Petco again. So trashy and rude. Iāll go to mom and pops stores instead. Picture is of the dog in question. Too short to be cut? Or even cleaned?

Was looking for a new hide for my corn snake, and they only had one that was small enough, and I already had that one. I found another one in the hamster section but he doesn't like it because it's too big. Petco should stock more hides and ones of different sizes and shapes. The tree stump one is the one he likes and the peanut one is the hamster one that he doesn't like.

Adopted my kittens from here and I was impressed with the set up they had for the cats. They were able to move around enough while waiting to be adopted.

I only shop here for fish. Staff is friendly, fish selection is better than any other chain store. Could be a 5 star if the fish section wasn't closed almost every time I make the drive, which is 45minutes. Disappointed and won't be going back again.

The staff was pleasant. The Store was in disarray. Hard to find things. Many items had no label or were stuffed on lower shelves not meant to display merchandise. There didnāt seem to be any organization of pet collars and harness.

I purchased a top entry litter box online to be picked up in the store. When I got to the store I noticed that there was no top on the litter box. I asked where the top was and got told the top is sold separately (not true with this litter box). I then asked how much the top is and got "I don't know." I literally had to tell the person to please go find out. He then comes back and tells me that they don't have any and would I still like the litter box? No, why would I want a top entry litter box with no top? I asked him to please just refund my money. He tried to tell me that I hadn't been charged yet. But I had. This was on 03/13. I'm still waiting for my refund. Please educate your staff about the products that they sell. I purchased the same litter box at the Camillus store and the top was included in the price.

Everyone who works there are so nice. I really mean this. Time of day doesn't even matter.My orders have always been correct. The pizza is absolutely the best and I mean the best in all of Syracuse area. What makes it even better is that it tastes great the next day and the next day!!!The crust is still soft:)
