Love this place. Amazing selection of corals. Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are more than willing to help and give advice. I spoke to Brian for probably close to an hour just discussing a future build, and at no point did he make it seem like it was a waste of his time. Not a huge selection of fish, but quite a few different inverts, as well as macro-algae, which I haven't seen at other reef shops.

Started in the salt water hobby about two years ago. If you’re in the syracuse area you’ll know there’s not many store options for this hobby. Low tide is the best around right now. Still fairly new store but has everything you would need and then some.Coral and fish prices are solidThe owners are super knowledgeable and will help you in any way they can.Will be my go to saltwater store for the foreseeable future ! Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out !

I am new to saltwater and have been trying to find a place to stick to for everything I need. Low tide corals has been extremely helpful, friendly, informative, and have some of the best pricing I have seen. So far I’ve gotten 2 frags, a brittle star and a serpent star from these people and they are all healthy and thriving in our tank. I only order fish and inverts from ltc now because I know they are healthy, and are top quality. I recommend them to everyone I know who is doing saltwater, and if you’re a little further away it is totally worth the drive!

I live in Florida and purchased multiple corals from low tide corals, being highly recommended from a family member. I can not say enough about these guys! Every part of the transaction was phenomenal! Package was shipped and came exactly when they said it would. Packaging was amazing, all corals arrived perfect with out a scratch. New to me, but now they're my go to. Just found Low Tide a few months ago, while driving around the area, went in on a whim and wasn't disappointed.Bryant and Thiel are extremely personable, knowledgeable and downright good people to deal with in the trade. Great coral and livestock selection that they'll actually talk to you about before sending you out the door and they're working their way into freshwater as well. Can't recommend them enough.

This is not just a store, it is a sensory experience. From stunning saltwater set ups to beautifully aquascaped freshwater paludariums, these guys could easily take their business to an upscale part of any city and thrive - instead, we are lucky to have them here in Central New York and leading the way for other LFSs. And they do it with so much passion for the hobby and the animals in their care as well as with dedication to their customers. During my recent two visits, Bryant has gone above and beyond to support my project and patiently showed my busy 7 year old around - she has been referencing him endlessly since! :-) I very much look forward to being back for more supplies and more importantly- to see what’s new in the shop!!

What a gem of a place to open in this underserved area!Lots of chain stores service the freshwater side off the hobby which is more forgiving but very few options of the marine side of the hobby in the CNY area.This is a nicely laid out welcoming store with lovely display tanks and easy to navigate, well labelled, frag tanks for sale. Lot of fish but the coral stock is the main draw. Corals seem to be very healthy; lots of choice and reasonably priced. Softies, SPS, LPS, you name it they have it.Most importantly the interaction with the owner/staff was the highlight. So many times Aquarium stores are manned by complete novices who dont know much and provide poor guidance. Not here, Bryant know his stuff - he is passionate about the hobby and it shows. His knowledge of the biology of corals shows and my 11 yr old was fascinated by his know how as well as ability to connect with a young hobbyist.We bought some starter stuff for a newly cycled nano and got a bunch of freebies thrown in on just our first visit to the store.Needless to say we will be back for all our salt water needs to LTC.Highly recommended.

Best reef store ever! They are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and kindly greet you when you enter their store. They truly care about the live wonderful corals and fish in their store. Their new store is clean and everything is displayed beautifully. The plants and terrariums...oh my...over the top beautiful. If you want to dive into the world of owning a reef tank of your very own, these are the guys to go to. Of course experienced reef tank owners already know this is the best reef store in our area. Now some fresh water aquariums! Beautiful aquascapes. Beautiful plants. Amazing displays. They carry supplies as well as water. They welcome questions, best place to go if you want to become an aquarium hobbiest.

I might be a little biased in my review of my own location. But in my humble opinion this store is one of the best in the entire central New York area. Selection, knowledge, empathy towards the animals we sell and the tanks we service. Fair prices, honest folk, with good atmosphere. Once the coral farm is running it too will be one of the largest in the state. Definitely should come on down and pay a visit starting 02.25.2023!!

These guys are the best! Very helpful the hours are good and they have SO much stock. There’s no local saltwater store around the Syracuse area with a quarter of what they have. From Pods to corals and everything in between. Take the time to stop in or make a trip to see them you will not be disappointed!

I stopped in because I'm an old reefer, had some time and drove by seeing it had popped up. They were closed that day but that didn't stop the owner from letting me in and having some salt water discussions. I wasn't even a customer (no tanks anymore) which he knew from the start. But truly a great guy to deal with. Knowledgeable and helpful.. When I get back into the hobby, this is where I will get my start up equipment and aquatic animals. I really wish the best for them and hope you too will stop in to check it out..
