Edit to original review, half a year later and nothing has changed. I'll add photos to the photo section. Practically impossible to use a shopping cart here and make it threw the isles.Original reviewThe staff is friendly, but half the time they are standing around talking. As a general manager when I walk threw the store I'm thinking.... if there are 4 employees standing up front talking and i can hear more in the back room talking than, why is the store a mess?? Hangers on the floor, random trash, labels, wrappers litter the floor, unorganized hard to walk threw isles because shelves are half empty but product still in cases on the floor, food product cases being stored directly on the floor, some of which should be in a cooler If this is what's in customers view I would hate to see the back storage room

I have been going to this Location since opening 2012 always been a up beat place employees are friendly.. and manager is great... lots of stock in aisles they need Help go get your self a job ..

This place is usually ok. Minus their spring cleaning bleach days will knock you out. There's way too many people that come in there to steal.. to the point they are forced to not restock anything. Its been weeks since I have been able to get tums or sleep aid, monsters, an I don't even know what's going on with the big bag of hot cheetos anymore. Their hot dogs sit right up next to the cheese spreading listeria everywhere. They do have good milk tho. Ice cream is a hit or miss. They have good deals on their cleaning products. Most of the employees are friendly. As well as some of the recent new managers they hired. Only thing I wish they would stop doing is drinking the rare redbull products that you can't find anywhere else but there. They like to drink them during their shifts. Leaving myself with no flavor options. I'm glad the guy with the dog stopped going to this family dollar. All you could smell for months was wet dog while you shopped. This place is also becoming pricey. $3.20 for not even a half stack of paper plates. Inflation of everything in this store.

Worst customerservice ever. Cashiers are not serious about their jobs, all they do is laugh and joke around. Cashier left me and went to joke around with her co-workers after I swiped my credit card. Had to finish the transaction and take out my own receipt from the machine. This place is a joke and everyday there are new cashiers. Best cashiers are the short African American male and the sweet white female, the rest should be fired.

This particular Family Dollar is and has always been an absolute dump from day one. Stock sits on carts in the aisles for days and days and days. You always have to watch the prices that ring up because you get overcharged. Tonight I wanted to buy something that said it was $1 on the shelf but they rang up $1.25 the old lady cashier said you can't go by the prices on the shelf you need to go by the price in the register. So, let me understand this, they don't put prices on the product so you look at the shelf for a price then she says you can't go by that price either. I wonder how much EXTRA money they make by overcharging? NEVER AGAIN!!!

It's convenient and the staff are friendly. But all the stores need to hire more cashiers. Each store only has one cashier along with a manager. That's not enough staff on the floor when things gets busy. But the staff they do have are friendly, helpful, and very pleasant...oooohhhhhh clone them lol

I love this place.. & their app..saves so much money.. I buy my cat/dog food here (Rachel Ray for dogs) & (Meow-mix for cats) also name brand laundry soap like Gain ,All ,& Tide... updated 4/22 I bought toothpaste, hair dye, popcorn, 3 different cracker packs, eggs, cornbread mix, garlic salt, onion salt, shampoo, & conditioner ..with app coupons I paid 23.00$

Family dollar has your house essentials and extra. And you only pay a small buck. I love going here for small things i need. I definitely would recommend anyone to make a quick pit stop to shop for somethings. You are guaranteed to save a buck or two.

This particular Family Dollar is very clean, organized, and isles are clear of any and all obstacles. But more important the associates are pleasant and professional. They greet each customer with a welcome and a smile. This is the best Family Dollar in the Syracuse city limits.

Shelves are usually stocked, employees provide assistance when you ask, mostly polite and helpful, store is always clean, they don’t leave expired items on shelves, location is convenient

Totally iresponsable w most of the personal cashiers have attitude . Always denie to returned items. Even though is under store policy .. im sick of this familly dollar and the one o butternut totally store #3053 i think if i the customer . Is purchusing an item and is not satiffied with it why cant i returned with out being treated like i been in familly dollar always refusing to do so. Employees needs to be trained properly and solve customer problem instAntly with no complaint ..... period..Im sick of this matter needs to be corrected ... immediately

Good and fast to shop,but they don't keep track of there sale price. If you put up something thats on sale you best remember that sale price when you get up from or else you will pay regular price for it !!!!!!!!!!!
