I've been shopping at this store for a long time but recently things have gotten bad.I'm a handicapped person and can't walk the full store so I use the scooters, the last few times the scooters have died in the middle of the store and the other ones are not even plugged in so I've been forced to leave without my groceries if you don't want my money you don't get my money it's not hard to charge your scooter or just get rid of them and I'll go elsewhere

I’m very upset lately with the online shopping experience . I’m elderly 70 years old and handicapped and I really need to use this service as they are the only ones who deliver in my area . In the past month or so I’ve been charged for things I didn’t receive like garlic in the amount of over $3 and I also was sent out dated (by 10 days) leaky oranges and it took me calling 6 times to finally get refunded … got bagels this week and also outdated by a week and also this week I received things I didn’t order as I wanted 2 packs of chicken thighs that were on sale and should of cost little over $4 per package but instead I was sent 2 packages of chicken breasts costing around $ 12 per package which is 3 times the amount per 2 packages that I planned on spending and of course wanted thighs not breasts !!!! I got alerted to it when my card was declined because I was not budgeted to pay that much more so had to put it on another card which I pay my bills from so put me in bad situation and when I realized why my other card was declined I was told order was on way to me and to late to stop delivery !!!! Then I was told I would be reimbursed but every-time I call they’re on a break or not available ! And to top it off one of the drivers hit my car couple months ago and tried to run off while delivering and I had to call police to resolve issue ! I’m very saddened by all this and disappointed as I’ve always found the online shopping people to be very nice and now I don’t know what to think of what’s going on in this store ! Ps I went to go open bagels and now they’re outdated by over a week too !!

I have always enjoyed shopping at ShopRite. Though it's still my favorite store of all time, I've only had a brief problem in all these year's. The staff is friendly and courteous.

If I could give this ShopRite zero stars I would. I’m tired of getting followed by the albino man/ loss prevention while shopping. I believe this ShopRite targets black people when shopping. It’s very aggravating and annoying. Usually I wouldn’t mind, but it gets frustrating every time you turn around or every time you’re in an aisle he is there pretending to shop. Listen ShopRite stop discriminating against black shoppers.

I have shopped here twice (I am passing thru the area by boat) and I like the store. Its big! I found they have just about everything I need, the parking is easy, they have plenty of self check out stations which I prefer, and they have a kiosk to oder your deli items so you don't have to wait in the deli line. Pretty happy with this store.

My favorite local place! Italian bread fresh, fresh bakery, decent deli and seafood, decent selection, some high quality products and prices reasonable. Organic selection could be better and rotisserie chicken is not bad. They also carry Carvel Ice cream birthday cakes , fudgie the whale etc. ! My daughter loves the ride in the few grocery carts they have with cars in the front that kids can go in!

I took a picture of a box of cereal just to make sure that the person I was buying it for approved of the choice. I was told I was not supposed to do that per store rules. I of course did not know of such rules. Eventhough the whole experience made me feel uncomfortable. I ended up purchasing the cereal and a few other items. If I wasn't on a time crunch I would have shopped elsewhere. I truly did not want to give them my business. I've broken such picture rules so many times in the past and because of it have provided my business to them. This was definitely not my best shopping experience. So now you all know that you should not to take a picture of any item you intend to possibly purchase. One Star for this store Today. Sorry for the picture it won't happen again.......

The absolute best thing about this location is the cake decorator in the bakery. Her name is Cynthia. She has decorated 5 cakes for me. My son is autistic and I have thrown some crazy ideas at her that I didn't have high hopes for but she blows my mind with every cake for my son and now my daughter.

It's pretty good for a Shoprite. My biggest grip is the pre-sliced deli meat. I have purchased extremely expired meat from there on multiple occasions. The dates said they were fine but the deli staff must not care the bologna turned gray. I just purchase over 3/4 of a lb of liverwurst. It was cut into four slices. I don't know anyone who wants a fifth of a pound liverwurst steaks. I really do like the rest of the store but this has been going on for too long. I've brought some back and they don't seem to care of fix it.

Updating My 5 star Review 8/13/23 1:30 PM:I live one minute from Shoprite Garnerville. But I always loved shopping at Shoprite of Stony point. Today the attitude of the staff at self check out was very rude.

They have a nice variety of items in this store but your self check out lane machines are way to sensitive, also it was already reported the Spanish women(I think manager of self check out) that's at self check out a year ago she was rude, today the same person felt the need to come over to tell me to put an item down and than that would clear the machine out she is just to way to aggressive why she couldn't just clear the machine like most people do at other shoprites(where I don't seem to have issues) why you gotta seem like you telling me do anything (do your job) and she sound like she got an attitude, stuff like that makes me not want to go to self check out or shop there, just clear the self check out machines thats all she gotta do, for some reason she feels the need to come over and kinda tell people what to do I also seen her do it to other customers before, Shoprite need to train that woman how to speak its not what you say its how you say it. I'm a customer it's kinda weird I don't work there lol. I just noticed other websites have customers review complaints about the self check out at this location and there employees at self check out within the past month that's really sad.

Store was fully stocked clean and very well lit. Customer service was great. I couldn't find a certain type of rice and one of the floor managers went to look for it and found some in the store room. My family is grateful. Great Customer service.

It's a big beautiful store with a good selection. Nice seafood selection. They do have a couple of registers open plus self checkout. I will use the self checkout if necessary but prefer the regular checkout. Clean store.

I live & normally go to the one in Garnerville, but was near this one, so did a quick shop. It is much cleaner with bigger isles, but I don't know the "lay out of the land" like I do at Garnerville. Wish this one was closer to me.

Clean, fairly well stocked, wide variety of products. Parking lot kept clean (carts put away quickly). Great liquor store next door, so makes it a great one-stop shopping experience for dinners and parties.

I love how diverse they are. They cater to a large number of ethnicities. I came here only after I tried another supermarket that made me very disappointed in it's lack of variety of foods. The customers and staff here were pleasant. The aisles were comfortable and the lines we not long at all. I also went on a evening before it was supposed to snow it was still a pleasant shopping experience.

A nice ShopRite location! Everything here is always kept very orderly, clean and the staff is helpful. This is a regular shopping location for me, and I've never had a bad experience here. From the diary isle to the seafood and deli, everything here meets expectations for a great grocery shopping experience.

It's clean and usually enough registers open. The parking lot is large and easy to drive. The selection is better than ShopRite Garnerville, but specialty items are a bit scarce. Better bread selection for example would be nice.

One of the better ShopRite's in the area. Prefer this one some that are closer to me. Always well stocked and lots of fresh food options including a hot food and olive bar. Parking is good. Gluten free section is small but growing. This store has the gluten free spread out so you have to search for it.

Shop Rite is consistently stocked with the things we use. This store was clean and well lit. It also has several self checkout terminals, more than I have seen in any other store.

It is nice and close by from my home. Mostly it helps me a lot with shopping - I can get almost everything I need for grocery shopping. And price is good. Bakery is pretty bad that I hardly find anything to buy. I wish that they can get more variety of vegetables and also keep them fresh (often they are kind of old)

It has a nice atmosphere, the AC is so refreshing. And they have snacks. Yes they have snacks, are you surprised? The items there are really good and the prices are reasonable. It's organized and overall a great supermarket.

Self-check out machines continue to not function well; bagging area continues to “mis-read” weight calibrations, asking to “remove” then “add back” items over and over; need continuous assistance from staff to remedy, then will repeat issue again with same check out. This has happened with every visit at self-check recently.Also, several items I needed were not stocked on respective shelves (hair color & cat litter), and add recent price increases on items I regularly buy (Chips Ahoy! Cookies, no more Bowl & Basket box tissues - having to purchase more expensive Kleenex tissues instead. Also, am disappointed you discontinued Shoprite’s brand of 2 liter sodas, having to settle for the more expensive name brand 2-liter sodas ☹️I AM pleased with your repeated sales on your Friendly & Turkey Hill Ice Cream products, in addition to your Entenmann’s bakery items! 😁

The best ShopRite I have ever visited. Always stocked, always clean. The staff is the best and always willing to help. Quick checkout and never long lines. Plenty of parking, and carts are always available and rounded up.
