Some of the worst customer service I have encountered. I went in to drop off a simple Amazon return, not realizing that I would need to package it (as other drop-off locations don't require this). Instead of the employee explaining this to me in a normal, professional way, I was told "Didn't you read the code before you walked in here?" I surely would have appreciated a more kind, helpful explanation from the employee. This was not the first time I have been met with a rude, dismissive employee here but it will most definitely be the last!

I am writing this review solely because I felt compelled to bring corporate attention to the exceptional and kind service provided by Drew C. at this location. Every time I have been to this UPS store, I have witnessed his thoughtful interactions with not only myself, but all those in front of me in line. His positivity brightens my day and I'm sure many others.I searched for a more formal avenue to voice my satisfaction, but was unable to find a ups survey etc.Thank you Drew!

The UPS Stonybrook store has been 100% professional, most helpful and exceptional in their knowledge customer service, and attitude.I always go to the store, leaving with a smile because of the staff. I had my internet service changed, and due to the change my ring camera system was off line. After numerous calls to both my internet provider and the ring camera, the ring camera decided to send me new cameras. Before the new cameras arrived, I was able to get the cameras working again. I contacted the ring camera and they sent me an email to print up return labels for UPS to send them back. I had three boxes to return with three labels. Next thing I know my printer is not working. I go to the UPS store and meet Eric. Since the company sent me labels Eric explained to me that I had to use the labels that the ring camera sent me and he could not make new labels. I did not know how to print the new labels in the store from my tablet, using their wi- fi. I had much difficulty in doing so and the store was very busy. I asked Eric if he could do it for me. He explained that it was against the stores policy to touch anyone's personal tablet. After feeling frustrated and not being able to figure out how to do it myself, Eric verbally walked me through the steps of what needed to be done. I was now able to send them back. I don't know what I would have done without Eric's help. Eric was so patient with me along the process. Eric was very polite, professional, and a great employee to deal with. The world needs more people like Eric. I never experienced such kindness. I want to let UPS know what a terrific employee Eric is. Thank you Eric for all your help. You are the best!

This particular store is the friendliest store I’ve ever been in. They are extremely polite, courteous and professional, especially Mubeen and Drew. They should run the Customer Service Training Programs for the post-office, FedEx and UPS corporate.Even when I have an issue with a UPS item that was not shipped via the store, they go out of their way to assist.I say this as a customer who is in this UPS store at least once per week.Highly recommend anyone using the services at the UPS Store in Stonybrook.

This UPS store is the fastest and most helpful friendly store I’ve been to. Service is excellent. If I arrive at a busy time, the line moves along very quickly. The manager decided to charge me $5.00 to print two pieces of paper with barelyAny ink on them. I needed them urgently or else i would’ve gone somewhere else. If this is a franchise they are clearly money hungry and overcharge for everything. Definitely calling my bank to dispute. I don’t care if it’s $5 … who in their right mind would want to pay that much for two pieces of paper

I love this ups store. My company uses them to receive packages and we come to pick them up. Site staff are always helpful and friendly. I've been to a lot of ups stores and this one is by far the best. Store is always clean, I never wait more then a minute or two.

I rarely leave reviews.. I will only review something if I had a great experience or a horrible experience. I am in the process of getting hired by a new job and have had to get a couple of government forms notarized. The notary, I believe his name is Drew C. is incredibly helpful. He is always kind and gets you in and out fast. However, during my most recent visit, I received multiple forms to get put onto payroll for my new job, I was overwhelmed and I didn’t know what forms I was even supposed to fill out. Drew pointed out to me what I left blank and showed me how to fill them out. They even held onto my forms so I could go home and get my passport so I could properly fill them out. Drew even went a step further and took photocopies of my documents for me. I was beyond thankful. I will not go anywhere else if I have to get a form notarized.

For anyone who needs to get things done, this is definitely the place to go!The Staff, Drew, Vinny and Lou are totally amazing!So efficient, kind and courteous and just an all around pleasure to do Business with. This privately owned franchise has some of the BEST customer service I have ever encountered! They truly care about people. I highly recommend this store if you need packing supplies and shipping services.

Its complicated.good: The service is always amazing: super friendly, lighting fast, knowledgeable and helpful staff! Really a job well done by everyone!bad: As you approach the building you will loose service on your phone! If you need your phone for anything, like an amazon barcode or looking up an address, you will be thwarted from making any progress. You will have to leave the store, get your phone to reconnect, take screen shots of whatever, then come back in and continue your transaction. This is super time consuming and annoying! But the great staff will help you.

What a great staff over at this UPS location. I came in trying to ship a pair of very tall and delicate antique shutters from NY to GA. Luis was incredibly friendly and helpful. He helped me figure out the best, and cheapest way to ship. He helped get me the best packaging materials and when I came back the next day was even more helpful. I Thanks Luis! Hopefully I will have many more shutters sales to bring back to you!

For the people complaining about charging for tape or to tape a box everything in the store cost the business money and yes, they pass the cost down to customers. Seriously people, nothing in life is free.

I have been dealing with them for over a year now the old owner Ken was great and the new owners are just as great. Luis always takes care of my transactions whether it over the phone or in person. I had to return an Amazon package. I didn't tape one side. Didn't think anything of it. It only needed a small strip of tape. Surely UPS would provide that as a courtesy. Nope. I had to pay for it. Terrible customer service.

Look no further for a better store than The UPS Store of Stony Brook. Luis and Drew are the best of the best. If you need to pack and ship anything big or small, they can do it. Fragile, hazardous, perishable, explosive, they got you covered. If you need to print or copy anything of any size, they can do it. If you need an affordable corporate address, they have it. You can trust these guys with any of your small business needs. If you need anything, there is a good chance that the guys of The UPS Store in Stony Brook can make it happen.

I came in with about 200 packages that needed to be shipped out. It took 2 hours to get through a little more than half. Luis was extremely helpful and friendly. He made this process a lot less stressful! He deserves a raise for his excellent service!

This UPS location is the most friendly and helpful location I’ve visited as of yet.Despite different tech difficulties they were experiencing that day, Linda & Moe went out of their way to help me out above and beyond.I strongly suggest this location.

I went to this store today and met Ken, the owner. I found him very helpful and professional. I needed some printing/binding done for my husband's music scores and he paid attention to every detail. It was very inexpensive compared to where we've had similar projects done in the past.The guy who wrote the previous post and who, supposedly, asked to use a "small amount" of tape brought in a large box that was damaged and didn't just ask to tape it shut, which the owner says he has no problem doing, he was asking to repair a large box.I would hate for that skewed review to be the only thing you base your decision on. I will be doing all my shipping/printing business here and would recommend it to anyone.

I'm a huge fan of my local UPS store in Lee's Summit, MO, so when I had a complicated task to accomplish in NY, I called the UPS Store in Stoney Brook. They didn't disappoint. Working with me from over 1300 miles away by email and phone, Drew and Louis printed a 100 page closing packet, helped ensure every page was signed and appropriately notarized, scanned back for confirmation, made corrections, scanned again, then overnighted the originals, even extending the 6:30 cut-off to ensure the packet went out that night. Their hard work allowed a homebuyer to get their home buying transaction closed and funded and key transferred before their moving van arrived from NY the next day. Amazing range of service!

Luis was such a big help! We had to send out nearly 200 individual packages to all over the country for a great cause and he was extremely helpful, patient and friendly. Hopefully his boss sees this and promotes him.. "Hint,hint" boss man.

Terrible customer service they promise next day delivery and you spend a bunch of money for it and they don’t come through and deliver it. You call to get a refund and compensated and they tell you oh well nothing they can do. Employees are very rude and nasty. They ship to facilities that are closed on the weekends and don’t process packages for next day and say oh we didn’t see that in our system our system doesn’t show that. Do not use this store!!! Go elsewhere !
