Love the Print Center at Staples. Machines are easy to use and if you do have a problem the associates are knowledgeable and happy to assist. Great selection of shipping items, which is what I came in for.

Incredibly rude and condescending staff with colors of racism. Attempted to scan and copy one document and the worker there was incredibly unhelpful and completely demeaning. It ultimately took a total of 3 people to finally address the problem and all of their attitudes were completely off. Completely unprofessional conduct, highly recommend avoiding and going to absolutely anywhere but here.

Their rubber stamp was terrible. Took them a day and a half to produce: promised same day before 2 pm.And when they did when I was there, it only took them 5 minutes to make it.. The stamp bled all over the place and didn't make a good impression on paper. I went to Rubber Stamps, Inc in Mineola (?) and picked it up in about 2 hrs. It cost $15 instead of $23, and works great. Adding ink is not messy. This is a "mom and pop biz."

They won’t print one page architectural drawing when I walked in.( 2 guys at the print center) they need to schedule it 24 hours ahead for be page!!!They really not into work at all. Knowing That I had used the location to print before with no problem.

I don't recommend this location, first of all the store smells like sweat. But that put aside I was trying to purchase a few pieces of card stock from the copy center rather then buy a ream that I would never use. and couldn't tell the weight and texture being packed. Thats when "Cristian" stopped the transaction, even though I was willing to pay for the printing, just to buy 5 blanks. I got the impression that it became a power thing for this employee so I left empty handed and dissapointed I couldn't make a personal card for my sons birthday. Thanks for nothing

The managers Christian, Matt and Jonathan are rude and condensing. The short kid JOE who works in copy center, it’s obvious you hate your job, then leave! You’re rude and incompetent so much so I’m calling cooperate about how you treated me and the elderly customers at self serve, how dare you! The copy department is atrocious, if you want your copies late, missing or not completed at all this copy center will fail you in all ways. The lady running copy center who refused to give me her name is rude and unhelpful. She turns customers away and tells them to come back the next day for a single copy. Customers are treated so poorly at Staples Stony Brook that I will never bring my business or recommend this Staples Stony Brook what so ever to anyone. Reviews need to be put fourth to change this stores attitude and lack of work ethic that is completely lacking.

Whoever the girl is that worked in the copy center tonight (9/29/23) was really not pleasant to me. I placed a same day print order at 10am and called around 3:30 to see if the order was ready yet. She said it would be ready by 8:30, I said ok. I called again at 7:30 to see if there was any update and she told me my order had a lot of pieces and they were working on it. I asked if it would be ready by 8:30 and she said they’ll try. I said “well what happens if it’s not ready by 8:30?” And she said I could wait in the store while they try to finish it? What? Same day orders before 12pm are guaranteed by 8:30pm but ok?I showed up at 8:45pm to give her extra time complete the order. She greeted me with “can I help you?” And I said “I’m Steph I’m here for my pickup”… she turned around, said nothing, continued packing my box, walked it over and said “here you go” and walked away. There was no “sorry it took so long, have a good night, thank you” or anything.I am SO not one to complain but I spent $300+ on my order and I don’t think a little customer service would’ve killed anyone.It’s unfortunate that Staples is so close to my house because for that sort of treatment, especially when I hadn’t done anything wrong, I’d much rather take my companies business elsewhere.

I came to this location because it was near my house and needed to get photos printed. The employee at the print section wasn’t trained well and made up her own process of printed on foam board. The price at other staples and online was the same but here. Not only she she added the extra free going from 48-75 dollars she also wasn’t confident in a 24 hour turnaround. It was like she was denying the business because she didn’t wanna do extra work. All staples pricing/print process should be transparent within the state. After them denying my business I went to a local print and ship where they didn’t refuse my business.

5 Stars mostly for employees. My worker informed me the app has been changed and helped me with the new one. No word from corp or emails stating so, just this stellar worker doing a great job. Staples is lucky to have him, there are plenty of other companies to work for that have it together.

I've never seen lazier workers in my entire life. I came in the other day and all the employees were hanging out in the copy center gossipping. When I finally got there attention I got the generic "whatever's on the shelf is what we have". Than like a giggling laughing as I walked away.. Sorry I interrupted your hang out it won't happen again

Store was absolutely disgusting. Staff are super lazy and management are even lazier. I wouldn't be surprised if half of them were high. I ask for one simple item and it takes 3 people to try and find it which they said it could only be ordered online. Their so called "copy center" isn't much better. I wanted 20 copies of a wedding invitation and the red haired girl was very rude to me. She said they were backed up with "like 20 other jobs" and that I would have to come back in a week of i wanted it done. I did not see any of the copy center employees even attempting to finish any so called "jobs". Will not be returning and I advise others to not go either.

Went to Staples today to print some pictures and pick up a land survey for the town. The help I received from the young lady in the print center was absolutely amazing. I needed the survey to be a certain scale and she worked with me to get it just right. I didn’t get her name but I will definitely be make sure to go see her if I need anything printed in the future!!

Was just there this past week. I had a terrible experience with a manager "Carol". I wanted to obtain some school supplies for my children so I came to staples knowing they had excellent back to school specials. Upon entering the store, I asked an associate about some of the products they advertised on the back to school sale. The associate then retrieved the aforementioned manager "Carol", to confirm some details about the sale. Carol came off as very hostile towards me and proceeded to talk down to the associate. I felt so bad for the associate for having to work under such horrible conditions. They did not deserve to be treated so badly for asking a simple question. Though the associates were rather helpful and I was able to obtain almost everything I needed, I cannot support a business where the managers treat associates so terribly. If that was my child getting yelled at for asking a question at work, I would be furious.

Absolutely ridiculous service. I waited in line behind a mother and son talking with a rep about the kid's project. Literally mind you 3 others were standing in the back lollygaging. An elderly man just jumped in front of me and had to ask for help. They helped obviously. Then when he left only then someone asked if I needed help. I guess they assumed I just enjoy standing in line. Only to be told the one piece of paper I wanted printed couldn't be done until tomorrow, because they had "like 35 other jobs that needed to be done" but weren't because who knows. And I'm sure if you're IN STORE asking for a piece of paper.. you get it. Wow.

The staff at this Staples are friendly and efficient. Especially the Print Center which we have used many times to print banners, flyers, postcards, etc. Great service and budget friendly prices for our small business.

The two employees working two nights ago, unfortunately I did not get their names, were friendly, professional and efficient. I called the stonybrook store after leaving the staples in port Jefferson. I needed something printed for the following morning. The port Jefferson store said they could not adhere to the one hour pick up promised by the corporation. They told me it would be minimally 24 hours to have one piece of paper printed. I called stonybrook in a panick, as 24 hours was too late for my deadline, and they said to come right down and they would handle it for me. I did and they had my paper printed in 5 minutes. They were absolutely wonderful and I will now travel the extra 10 minutes to give them my business in lieu of the staples closest to me.

The staff is great during back to school season lines are crazy but they stay very professional. My go to for college supplies but not for laptops or printers you will wait for ever for a tech employee.

If you want to deal with managers who have the mental capacity of say a snail, this place is for you!I mean really, I asked to see if they could cross reference an Arrow P 22 1/4" staple, as they only sell Swingline brand.The questions I received included "you have to know the size" and "you have to know the brand".After repeating this and being told I was being loud I left the store and will never return.You can't get staples at Staples!

Staff was totally rude. Came in last night 20 minutes before close and was told they couldn't help me print 15 copies of something because they were "cleaning up soon". Ridiculous and lazy. Won't be back.
