I’m honestly sooo fed up with the workers at this location.They’ve been impatient and rude with me so many times. One time, a cashier was extremely inappropriate and loudly embarrassed me about an intimate item I was purchasing (I reached out to management/HQ and never heard back).I personally usually drive much further to different locations to avoid this one. While this store may be packed with products, the culture of the staff (at least those I’ve interacted with) just feels off and bad and makes it an unpleasant experience 9/10 times.

Tons of great deals, but the checkout line was over 45 minutes long. If you go near the holidays make sure to give yourself ample wait time for checkout. Customer Service folks were very nice and helpful.

Great finds all the time! Love their housewares and can browse and always pick up something great! Only downside is no matter when you go there are never enough cashiers n it takes forever to check out😔

On my latest trip to this particular HomeGoods, I noticed it felt a bit different from the others. The selection seemed more limited, and I didn't get that usual buzz of excitement. I hope it's just a temporary hiccup because I always look forward to those unique finds.

Found some really great items for great prices. The aisles were kind of tight for the carts. The line was super long and it was really warm in the store.

The thing about these chains is that the hard goods items are organized and disorganized at the same time. It makes it difficult to shop. But for what these chains are, the store was clean, and I did not see staff on the floor while I was there.

Updating my review because today this store was a mess. They have 16 registers and 4 opened. Around 30 people on line.Just 1 bathroom opened and it was filthy. I took my toddler in, but it was no way she will seat on that toilet.Why they keep spending money to make the store prettier when the service sucks.Better to drive to to the HomeGoods in Port Jeff. Much nicer and bigger.

Marshalls is the best store to buy from clothing to all your home needs they always offer good quality products. This one is one of them. The customer service is excellent and the product availability is great. Today I found they expanded on the products and rearranged the aisles. Good job.This store is still doing its best, but the issue is the supply.Right now the store is fully stocked and is ready for holiday sale.The location is very convenient and has a lot of parking.

I own a house in this area so i come to this location and shopping mall in very frequently .I always check out the purses makeup home decor and seasonal items. At this particular location I have been followed by security around the store several times. When i walk in the store there is never a security guard standing at the door i have been to this location over 300 times and spent thousand of dollars i come to this location almost three times a week. When i go to leave the store after paying for my items there is always a security guard standing at the door. The moment i walk out the store they walk away from the door. I have shopped at other stores in the same shopping mall and drove past Marshalls/ home goods once i was finished and guess what no security standing at the door. As an African American women i do not feel comfortable shopping at this store anyone. I have asked other none African american a friends have the noticed the same experience and they said no. Another thing they are way to aggressive with asking you to apply for a credit card once you say no that should be the end of the discussion.

Prices are great, but you pay the price by waiting in a long queue. Today I started a stop-watch when I joined the long queue. It was showing 43 minutes 2 seconds when my turn finally came. So I suggest you either bring a book to read, or bring a friend and ask your friend to stand in the line while you do the shopping. :)

I go often. But dont get caught buying too little of one item and having to go back and get another. Employee said they dont discount severely damaged or broke/missing pieces items. Its more a thrift store because most of the items are not in new condition.

I got the best cashier her name was zofia and she was so friendly! There was a little mark on my pot that I was buying and she took care of it right away. I’ve never had such a friendly cashier!! I would go back to stony brook again because of the customer service!

I have never been treated as poorly as I was in Marshalls, Stony Brook. I arrived before the store opened on Saturday morning to make a return from an online order. When the doors opened I was told to wait in the main line where they call customers up to a certain cashier. Other customers with returns began entering the store and walking up to cashiers and were assisted while I still waited on line. I walked up to the first cashier and was scolded and told that she was still counting her money in the register, so I moved down to where the other customers were being assisted. The cashier who scolded me then took the person standing behind me on the main line. At this point other customers realized I was being ignored and pointed it out to the manager, who said that she was not waiting on customers. When I made my return the cashier seemed suspicious that the items I ordered cost as much as they were marked, and she called over other workers to see if they felt the price I paid was correct. I'm not sure if she was implying that I stole, or was trying to switch an item, but three women huddled around speculating whether the Rae Dunn necklace I returned truly cost $19.99 (which it did). The cashier had extreme difficulty making a return from an online order and complained constantly that she needed to make new labels since it was an online order. I swiped my card and left, only to find on my credit card statement days later that the cashier did NOT issue a return and instead issued a purchase of the items!!!! Upon calling the store I was told I needed to come in for the refund. After 40 minutes on line while they tried to figure out how to issue the refund for now the actual refund AND the incorrect purchase, I left without any apology from the store or from the initial cashier, who was asked to issue one of the returns. I have never been treated so poorly and will never return. The low prices are not worth how the customers are treated.

Some of the staff gets angry at you for shopping. It's strange. I was scolded for LOOKING (not even touching) at toddler shoes because he "just put them out". Isn't buying them the point? Line is always insane. Some cool finds though.

There should be designated cashiers for returns only. I went today to return some cooling racks. I’ve never seen the line that long. I would have waited on line for at least 45 minutes. I went home! Ugh.
