Beer + seltzer was not good and I tried 4/6 options. The energy from the service was uninterested, forgetful and presented themselves as if they were dressed to go to a Walmart. The place is a downgrade from their surroundings. Will not be returning.

Brew Cheese should be available everywhere, or at least have the ability for me to transport here on a whim's notice.We stopped in for a bite and a beer and I loved it all. The cheese sampler is AMAZING and the beer is different and awesome. Not a ton of places to sit/stand but we were able to snag some seats at the bar. Try everything!

This place is my idea of heaven. Carbs and cheese? Yes, please. I wanted one of everything. Shared a goat cheese board and then got an Inked Myself and Smorgasboard grilled cheese. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and I thought everything was fairly priced. Particularly liked the Blue Point Peach Half and Half and the Hibiscus Sour.

Really bad experience. Waited 40 minutes for 3 grilled cheeses. When we asked about our food, the worker didn’t even remember what we ordered and hadn’t even started our food . The worker then offered us free sandwiches when right away the owner struck that down and said, “No only one free sandwich”. Extremely unprofessional and would not recommend.

Our table was not clean, our meals were not prepared correctly...one sandwich still had cubes of unmelted cheese, so not a grilled cheese at all. Cashless, thats lame. Started to get busy right after we ordered, poor service. Definitely underwhelmed.

Came here with my boyfriend who is obsessed with craft beer. To my surprise, I was able to find his favorite beer (as shown in the pictures.) We had originally come just for the beer with no knowledge of what this establishment had to offer. Upon arriving, I was amazed at how intimate Brew Cheese is. Everyone is very friendly and their staff is quite knowledgeable about their menu and cheese selection. We had Ashley take care of us and did not disappoint! Their craft selection is enjoyable with rotations every so often and if you are a cheese connoisseur, you will be amazed. We will definitely be returning for another enchanting experience!

Small but mighty. My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place since we just moved to the Stony Brook area. Our server Matt prepared a nice sandwich and cheese board for us, sampling wonderful cheeses, some of which just got shipped in!! Great service and a calm, friendly atmosphere.

A small shop but a huge selection. The grilled cheese menu wasnt like any I have seen before. My wife, son and I each loved our sandwiches. The cheddy topper, brew cheese cubano and a classic. The sour dough and multi grain bread used was awesome and cut super thick. The cheese was melted perfect and awesomely stringy and the sandwiches were not overly greasy like some I've had other places. We also tried a couple draft beers, schflay pumpkin and pipeworks all the golden tickets. Both were really tasty. And mckenzie behind the bar was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back to work through that sandwich list. Not to mention the amazing list of fresh cheeses available to purchase. Picked up a wedge of maple bacon cheddar I can't wait to try.

Love the sandwiches and the local beer, but only one grill to make sandwiches, that take 30 minutes to make, is just not efficient … need a second grill… otherwise love Brew Cheese !

Quiet, intimate place. They have 6-8 beer on tap plus many others in cans or bottles. They offer wines from Rose Hill which is a Long Island winery. They have a large variety of cheeses. The server is very knowledgeable about the cheeses. They also offer gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches that are delicious. Have been there numerous times and have enjoyed it. They offer movie nights on Saturdays.

It's an awesome little place for local beer with cheese and nice ambience. I would recommend the 'Evil twin' draft beer. They also have a good collection of bottled beers to make your own six pack (which is also very inexpensive btw! :O ). The food menu is not too big but some good grilled cheese sandwiches and cheese tasting options. The staff is friendly and nice :)

Good spot to stop on a small winery/brewery tour. It is a difficult to find in a large shopping center area. Once you finally get there, there is a nice selection of cheeses and meats. They only had about 5-7 beer son tap however there was also a great selection of bottled and can beers.I feel like this place should be larger and have a better location and it would be amazing.

Had 1/2 of a massive sandwich with delicious cheddar and fig jam, on a multigrain bread. Couldn’t eat any more. I don’t drink beer and the only iced tea was mixed with lemonade and tastedterrible. They don’t have ice, so iced tea wasn’t iced and got warm before the food came. It took more than 1/2 hour to get the sandwich. They need more than one sandwich press, for sure. The reason for the 2 rating was the fact that the place is downright dirty. Look up at the lights over the bar and see the thick collection of dust. Look at the floor, which is filthy. And the bathroom was as bad. If you clean it up, maybe the stars will go up, because the sandwich was delicious.

Everything was good except the price of a common everyday tap beer. 8$ is high even now with recent inflation pricing but it wasn’t even a pint glass. It was a12 oz beer. Cmon guys, I doubt we’re not the only ones who won’t return due to that. 3 stars got the clerk who was great and the cheese platter was good to.

Decently sized selection with very knowledgeable staff. I have celiac's and gluten gets into all kinds of food including cheese and the staff member there knew which cheeses were safe and which were not and cut all my cheese with a clean knife. This was a very positive experience for someone with food allergies and I'll be coming back for more then a quarter pound next time! Delicious!

We've come here quite a few times and everytime it's excellent. The cheese selection is impressive and delicious. The grilled cheeses are out of this world. Great prices, super friendly atmosphere. Every employee is super pleasant, such a nice laid back experience. Also the beer selection is great, highly recommend for a afternoon out with friends.

I just went last night and, i looked at the menu and nothing really interested me, but i had the reuben sandwich with prosciutto, and it was absolutely one of the best sandwiches i have ever had…like i would put that sandwich against any sandwich i ever had…it was just that good and the woman working there recommended a pepper stout to pair with it, and it was just such a great meal, a perfect date spot, a very small cozy place, it felt like home, just an all around excellent experience. Note i have no photos because i devoured everything on my plate.
