Though I frequent this establishment often and the service is on point, the one star is for the blonde cashier. She was impolite, didn’t even respond to the hello or made eye contact, then when I wanted to add a pack of cigarettes to the rest of my stuff she carded me ( no problem with that) and decided to announce me that she cannot accept my ID since it’s not from the state of New York. As an international student, it seems kind of ironic that all the establishments/authorities accept my ID but the cashier at this 7/11 didn’t want to. P.S I have made the same purchase in this place, no issues ever.

I was a bit undecisive in the store. I picked up a chocolate bar and sent a few minutes browsing the pastry section to see what interests me. However, there was this guy who kept coming next to me and pretending that he was fixing the shelves (this happened like 3 times). Honestly, I thought he was doing his job until I noticed he kept fixing the shelf I was browsing at the moment. I later decided not to purchase the chocolate because of dietary reasons and replaced it on the shelf. I then found a cracker that I hadn't eaten since I was a kid, and I decided to grab a coffee with that. Surprisingly, this guy went back to the counter, and I saw he was staring at me from behind the counter. I never felt so weird in a store before. This was the first. Later at the checkout, he kept pointing to my pockets and said "cho-co-late" two times with his accent. I felt so disrespected and wanted to argue with him, but I pointed to the shelf instead. This was the first time in my life I ever felt like I was under surveillance, and the general experience at this 7 eleven was terrible. When I was taking out my wallet, I intentionally pulled out my keys and whatever was in my pocket just to prove a point silently. I have visited this same location before with other employees, and I did not experience what I had experienced today. This is totally unacceptable, in my opinion!!

There was a white guy with a goatee and a man bun at the cash register who acted so cocky because he thought I had a fake drivers license when in fact was my real drivers license. He kept saying that it was fake and his machine showed it was 21 yrs old but not the extra 2 weeks? Like what am I suppose to do when it’s my real drivers license? I understand if you don’t want to serve me but to act all cocky like you thought I was doing something illegal? I also had my tax income forms in a pdf with me so I could have also showed him that if he doesn’t trust me that badly. I went to the other 7/11 and they looked at my id and just let me buy a mikes hard lemonade.

The staff here is always quick to help me out with anything I need. I come here regularly and my cigarettes are already in hand behind the counter and waiting for me before I even reach the register.Just a few weeks ago, they had maintenance done on the fresh food cooler. I asked if they had the sandwiches in the back. They had left a small section of food out in the cooler, and not only did she mention this, she even went over and grabbed it for me (not needed as it was very busy and I could have grabbed it myself, but that speaks volumes towards the great customer service.)I live 9 miles away and avoid almost every 7-11 in my town just to come to this one on my way to work instead. My favorite 7-11 by far!

This is my neighborhood 7-Eleven. Been going there since 1995. Family run who take an interest in the appearance of the store. Always a welcome greeting and that translates to the staff. Wide selection of coffee that is always fresh and hot and the soft drinks cold. Don't understand the less favorable reviews.

I would go here a lot when on break during the summer months since it was close to my job. Had everything a typical 7-11 does. Never had a problem with inventory or employees. My only complaint would be that the parking lot is a little awkward to maneuver through.

This store is horrible the owners have kept the same rude employee who is constantly screaming on the phone, making drug deals at work, giving customers a horrible attitude, throwing money at customers and giving everyone I see a problem. You come in in the evening and hear him screaming on the phone in the back of the store and you can hear him from outside. I ward all my friends and family away from this store because they let this behavior continue for as long as I've lived in the area. Such a horribly run store hopefully they clean up their act and stop letting a psycho employee conduct illegal activity in front of all the people there.

Rude behavior on repeated visits over a period of many years. I am writing this review only because there has been absolutely no improvement in the behavior from behind the counter. Also, they will scan your ID without asking first (unless you are preemptively telling them, the scan will happen within half a second of you showing the ID) even when you are not buying any restricted product. I bought a candle lighter, and was told to provide ID. Which was promptly scanned WHILE I was asking why the ID was needed. The answer to "why do you need my ID for this?" was an intentional blank stare to my face for a few seconds. The woman behind the counter made it very clear that she WILL NOT answer my question, even though her English skills were fine up to that point.I have started avoiding this place because nothing is worth the infuriating experiences I have had here.

This is a very busy 7/11 cause it's right across the street from Stonybrook University. That being said, they open 2 registers cause they're super aware of whether or not the check out line begins to get long.

Rude night staff. Always playing phone during his work and never give a shxt on you. Eyes in his phone all the time. Don't even say a word when you check out even you say ty or have a good night and he just keep playing phone. I also have a time he yelling on me because the card didn't go through. Come on, I didn't do anything wrong. I rather starve to die but never visit here anymore.

Been through few 7 elevens. Most of them are same. This one, i would say odd one interms of people and products. You will not find whipcream for coffe, if asked you will get big eyed answers. They dont necessarily carry all flavors of coffe like the NY Bold/ French vanilla or Hazzelnut. Employess are always gossiping with each other. Even i heard they were talking about a customer and making fun of him (while i was standing in front of the register). I would skip this store if i can .
