Not from this neighborhood but stopped at this supermarket to pick up a few things. This is probably my 3rd time in this store. While checking out I wasn't greeted by the cashier who's name is Houda Hosn. Once all items was scanned she asked if I wanted a bag and I replied yes, please. My bag was then placed on top of my items. I kindly asked so you guys don't pack bags? she responded, it's not her job to pack my bag. I don't mind packing my own bag but if that's the case there should be a self checkout line for me to do so. Never been to a supermarket that doesn't pack the bag you now have to purchase from them and even during my past visits my bags were packed without asking. So that was a little upsetting for me. I asked for the manager and asked him if it's their job and he told me yeah. She still refused and said it's not her job.I like to spend my money where I'm appreciated and treated kindly. Will not be shopping here no more thanks to Houda Hosn.

I love Market Fresh . Market Fresh is now my primary supermarket. Excellent customer service . The managers are very friendly & accommodating. Delivery services are very helpful . Would recommend.

Bought a 6 pack of coke that was expired. Didn't realize it until I came home. Not the first time I bought something either past expiration date or spoiled here. Store needs to check their shelves.

I went here to purchase some ice cream, the worker say there is no price for this item, so someone go and check the price, make the payment and receipt shows "groceries“ not the item i purchase, i dont know if this is a scanner problem, before i walk out the door, I took at look at the receipt and go back in. I ask if they could provide a receipt with the correct item name/label on receipt, they say they cant, so i return it. Dont know if they let you return if you find out something wrong and the item on receipt was incorrect item name/label after you go home and come back.

The produce is pretty fresh. I don't know how much of it is organic because it's a mixed bag. I did however make a recommendation to the stock supply of one particular item and they actually called the district manager to see if they can resupply that particular item and made a promise that they would resupply this item on the next order. That was several months ago and nothing came of it. The weight balance at the checkout is definitely off from any of the balance in the place and you have to check your receipt to make sure that you're not being overcharged. However, being picky about that I will say a lot of the items they have a fresh and reasonably pricedI did have an issue with the cold cut counter and asking for a particular item and when they priced that item out it did not match the price per pound on the digital menu behind the counter and when I confronted them on the price per pound they kind of just shrug their shoulders as if it was an honest mistake.

On the pricier side but has a good selection of fresh produce and there are regular deals on meat. Lots of niche ice cream selections too.

Waited 10 minutes at customer service to get change as 4 different employees walked behind the counter and ignored me. I will never shop in this store again

Clean, organized. Labels on shelf show price per pound. There's like thirty kinds of rice (I like rice) and the vegetables are stacked in a pleasing manner. They also have nice soap, and Saint candles.It's almost an Aldi.

Had a great and wonderful experience shopping with Market Fresh!!! Their online shopping was so splendid and had a very personal touch!!! I felt like a Queen with their exceptional service!!! Excellent delivery!!! The Staff that took my order was very detailed and considerate!!! I think her name was Kishani!! You and Joe are the BEST!!! Market Fresh is now my new NEIGHBORHOOD STORE!! Even though I have one close to my house I will always prefer their service!!! Thank you guys!!!

Decent grocery store, but prices are a little high here. Aisles are narrow, not too far outside the norm for the city but it might be a consideration for claustrophobics and wheelchair users. Generally pretty clean and not too busy, but I typically go outside peak hours so I can't say if it's worse during the rush. Good meat selection with decent prices for a small grocery store. Fresh ready-made foods section always has good options, and their enclosed cold room for the alcohol section is a rare plus for a NYC grocery store. Staff are friendly and helpful yet seem a little tired/overworked, but that's par for the course with grocery stores. Overall a decent place to pick up a couple things in a pinch, but the pricing makes it a subpar option for full grocery hauls.

My wife and I love this place we found it one day at the recommendation of somebody local in the neighborhood and they had an excellent choice of food. The salad especially is really amazing it's low cost and you can make a bunch of salads out of it

Very clean, fresh produce, friendly staff, opens early and closes late. They have this great beer fridge with lots of variety and craft beers. Sales are good although not as discounted as the big box supermarkets but my go-to market in pinch.

Very good market. Sale prices and "loss leaders" make this a great place to shop. Very large selection of items. Great staff. Always ready to open another register if crowded.Another satisfied shopping spree!Got some good sales today. Just dropped in for hamburger rolls. Make sure you ask them to use store card or you may not get sale price!

Convenient location large selection some OK sales at times but over priced on most items most of the time.On 2 occasions the meatballs from the rear deli counter were sour rotten, I don't recommend buying prepared foods at the deli counter, or eat it at your own risk.

We had a last minute order we needed to place for our church event, Wally was very helpful and accommodating on our late order. Everything was delicious and the packaging of the sandwhiches were great. Everything was tasty and fresh. Will definitely be using them for future events. Thank you Market Fresh~ Mai and Cuhow team

The catering manager Wally was extremely helpful. I needed a deli order of grab n go wraps for an event at work short notice. They prepared a tray with a variety of wraps , nice presentation , fresh ,and delicious, the veggie wrap was a hit! Thank you ,Market Fresh, thank you Wally

Nice, cute, very clean but cashiers don't offer bags. I was luck to have my own. The staff at Deli were nice and friendly. Overall it's nice place to shop I recommend but some of the cashiers need improvement.

It's small but cozy. The staff do their best to make sure the lines continue to move, respecting everyone's need to be safe in light of the pandemic. The store has my every go-to needs. I APPRECIATE so much their beer fridge. Every beer from most counties, dope!

Very nice place with a super helpful staff. When one cashier doesn't have a customer, they will go and bag the groceries at the register who does have one! I have never seen any other place do that. Every other supermarket I have been to seems to be "every cashier for themselves", but here, they all help each other! And everyone is extremely friendly! Keep up the great work!

The produce and meats are fresh ,the store is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I have asked for something that they had run out of and the manager let me know when they would have the product in again. That's customer service. We really like the rice balls ,yum.

There's inflation and then there is the kind of disgusting price gouging that characterizes the cost of virtually every item:$3.49 for a head of red leaf lettuce? $3.29 for a medium size Italian Bread? Idaho potatoes ON "SALE" for $5.99 for 5 lbs? And finally $6.49 for beef riblets which are regularly $2.99 at Walmart, and $4.99 at ShopRite.I guess consumers will pay whatever the price they see, no questions asked.But shame on this supermarket for ripping off a community not known for a population of hedge fund managers.

For my first visit, I wasn’t very impressed by the options or the pricing of this establishment. There were not enough dairy free substitutes, vegan options, or even just fresh produce. I will give this place another try because I was so excited to have a healthier option for grocery shopping within the North Shore.

Great deli dept, hightly recommend the pasta salad, Mediterranean pasta salad & the sicilian peppers. Yumm.. However I found prices to be a bit high, parking lot was ok, entrance/exit was a bit small, store was absolutely freezing, they charge you .35cents per bag, even when you use EBT. At least the bag wasnt flimsy though, I'd go back only for certain deli dept items..
