Island Kosher is the BEST! The owner personally helps scan and bag items, thanks customers for their service, and always makes sure the customers are happy one way or another. You can’t find that anywhere else in NYC. The owners bring Israeli flair and brotherhood to the environment. The store is super clean, bright, and they have the most colorful and beautiful produce section. Everything is tasty and freshly stacked because there is so much turnover. The prime meat is my favorite part. Island Kosher is reminiscent of Breadberry but slightly less expensive and a smaller mom and pop version of it. The hours are also so convenient. Driving to Brooklyn for kosher markets was a normal regular thing. Now I can just drive up the block whenever I need to get what I want. This store is 5 stars, may it be blessed to stay open for the long run!

You know, this place is really nice and exceeds expectations; like a David and Goliath story. It is a medium to large kosher supermarket and has a pretty good selection of kosher-only items. There are prepared foods and a bakery as well. Fresh fish if you want it. The butcher has standard fare on display but will also accommodate custom orders. You contact him through a Ring doorbell in the meat section and discuss over its speaker. Weird, but there you go. Prices are much what you'd expect for kosher food, meaning high, but not the establishment's fault. It's nice to finally have a significant source of kosher food on Staten Island. Recommended

I was somewhat disappointed and feel they missed an opportunity to offer great Jewish Deli. Lox and other items should not be prepackaged like you find in Stop and Shop. They should be slicing lox and other Jewish deli items by hand. There is not even a good bagel to be had here. Some of the produce is lovely but much of the meats are quite overpriced. My mother managed Waldbaums Delis and I feel they offered so much more. Again, this is a missed opportunity.

Prices are high on most things but they're convenient, have some unusual products and they're open. I buy much of my meat and vegetables there bread products like challah, muffins and rolls.They have GREAT sushi! Especially the poke bowl and the sweet potato roll,which isn't fried but just sweet delicious 😋! It's one of their gems!The meat is a little precious more pricey than Brooklyn or NJ. The chicken is not changed well and needs to have the feathers plucked. But the breaded cutlets are delicious in the air fryer and very convenient.I am sensitive to certain oils and I can't eat their take out, but it looks good.The staff are helpful and nice. Always a warm greeting and an offer to help. Vegetables are beautiful as are the flowers.They have delivery and their hours of operation are pretty good, open until 2 hours before Sabbath.

Had wonderful customer service experience here. The girls specifically all rallied as a team to help after an unfortunate mishap. I will definitely be back as I really felt terrible for the situation and they were were very thorough and thoughtful with the mishap.

One early morning when I was out in Bayonne micromanaging my terrible employee, I realized that I was hungry. So I went to pray and eat in Staten Island.I was pleasantly surprised to find such a good store. I enjoyed my cheese omelette on a bagel, and then returned to Bayonne to make sure that lazy guy wasn’t slacking on the job.

Staff here is extremely rude and unprofessional especially at the register. The prices are decent here, but that has nothing to do with the kind of service you’ll receive here. Train your staff on how to properly customer service; this kind of behavior would never be allowed in my job for sure where I interact with customers daily!

Amazing asset to the Staten Island community. Offers an expansive variety of kosher foods, including take-out, a sandwich bar, fresh sushi (buy 2 get 1 free!!), fresh baked goods and breads, slushie and coffee machines, meat, fish and more!! Motzei Shabbos they have a dairy spread with different pastas. They take EBT, which is a huge plus, and they have competitive prices. The staff are always extremely pleasant and the store is always sparkling clean. They have a parking lot for your convenience and there are usually spots open.Just to recount an amazing experience here: I had parked illegally in front because I was running in to grab one thing. However, a parking cop showed up and started giving tickets. The staff noticed and went around the store telling the customers to move their cars to avoid getting ticketed. Such a nice thing to do.

A very welcome addition to kosher food shopping on the Staten Island!A restaurant-grade sushi corner with very pleasant and accommodating chefs.Very clean throughout.Store personnel demeanor ranges between nice and very nice.The place is not huge, but somehow they manage to squeeze wide variety of goods into available space in a very efficient fashion.Highly recommend.

A bit overpriced.They have a excellent selection of food products.I was disappointed that the corner bookstore, butcher shop, small grocery store that had almost everything at reasonable prices wasn't there anymore! Island Kosher took over and renovated at least three stores to make one large Supermarket! The pizza place appeared to be gone too!!! Would have been nice to purchase a slice of pizza and falafel for Lunch.

Nice kosher Beautiful Supermarket brand new ,Nice selections Of Quality food,s And a Deli Selection too , If your Hungry, But I did Not Notice any Garbage Containers ! IN Or OUTSIDE Of the establishment for people eating But there was plenty of Garbage on Bothsides of the Street From Patrons and Delivery Companys entering And exiting,as i was informed buy a Local Resident shopping there as i was.And As a business owner you think they would want to keep the front of the place clean Instead of having that Mindset that's not my garbage But in reality it is.There,s Plenty of parking in the back but I don't think anybody uses it ,as i Noticed Some People Rather double park or Risk Injury to themselves or loved By entering and exiting the vehicles from the street where the sidework is plenty wide And that is just not here that is everywhere common sense protect your loved ones Use the passanger Side. Prices are very reasonable. Oh I forgot to mention the most important part I would shop here every day Fast and friendly service And good prices

New kosher grocery store for the staten island jewish community. This place was build and creative to service their customers and fulfill community needs. The customer service here is impeccable and one to beat. The atmosphere is warm, clean, maintained, and modern. Vast and wide variety of produce, fresh takeout and shelf products. The sushi here is in my opinion the best I've ever tasted including famous spots all over the boroughs and 5 towns. I would highly recommend this grocery store and the amazing hours they have.

This is a great local supermarket. The store is neat & clean. Great service.They have quite the selection and include a sushi stand, bakery area, takeout, fish and meat section. On Motzai Shabbos (in the winter) they have a beautiful spread of hot food, salads, crepes and shakes. The prices are fair, however, they need to update the price tags on the shelves.

This place just opened and I went for my first time this morning. The selection of foods, toiletry, produce, and everything in between is great! So happy and grateful they opened nearby! This is now my GO-TO! PS - it’s very clean inside and the people were very kind as well. Happy this place so close.

The atmosphere in this store is friendly and helpful which makes the shopping experience extreme pleasant. In addition, they have everything you might want from a large supermarket. From sushi to bakery items (their sourdough challah is delicious, ) to a meat department, to a takeout department with hot food, and all this is besides for having items from your favorite brands and fresh fruits and vegetables. This store is a welcome addition to the community.

This store is an oasis of Jewish cultural food. The meats are of the highest quality and the produce is a masterpiece. The salads and cultural specific goodies are an amazing treat. As a secular Jewish person, I found it welcoming and incredibly customer friendly. Please go even just for the experience.

I believe I am thrilled to have a kosher supermarket on Staten Island but kosher island is somewhat overpriced. I have shopped in other kosher stores in Lakewood even and they are not so overpriced.

Island Kosher is definitely my favorite go-to location in Staten Island. They have a tremendous selection of the freshest of everything from danishes to candles. They have delicious sushi, and a great takeout station. They also have a smoothie/milkshake machine by the checkout for that quick, grab-n-go milkshake.Below is a beautiful sign with a beautiful quote hanging in the store.
