Theresa was incredibly helpful. Was patient with our young daughter and it is very appreciated. Unfortunately, we had to arrive near closing time. However, Theresa took the time to answer all of our questions and truly made us feel at home. I highly recommend Fishtopia and will definitely be returning for all of my fish needs.

Love this little store, you might not know from passing but they have species, and specialty items you won't find in the corporate big stores for pets. Not just if you're in the area, I'd make an effort to get there for fish and reptile supplies especially!

It was my 1st time looking at fish in Fishtopia. It was a great experience! I ended up leaving with 4 African Cichlids. The fish were almost 4" long. The prices were very fair. I will be returning to Fishtopia for sure.

Best fish store in Staten Island.. All fish tanks are very clean and very well kept. Both owners are extremely knowledgable when it comes to fish and or reptiles. Always a great selection of fish. If they dont have what you are looking for they will try there best to order what you want. Teresa and Marie are extremely friendly and will answer any of your questions and will take the time to explain things to you.Highly recommend this pet store

This is the only fish store I will be a patron of. It is so important to support local pet stores . This one works hard to provide the best service and products, supplied with knowledge and smiles. Such pleasant owners who are also there in store have a true love for pets and their care and it shows in their store. Often time big box stores who sell fish and supplies just see dollar signs and hire employees who couldnt care less. Skip all that nonsense and come visit Fishtopia, promise wont be disappointed. Not only do they have a huge variety of fish..if you dont see what you want just ask and they will (from my experience) do all they can to get it for you! I cant say enough great things about this store as you can see! Just bought a new unique decoration for one of my tanks and cant wait to go back!

The personal touch of a small business definitely beats the big box pet stores any day! A local "must visit" for all aquarists and reptile keepers in SI.

Little local shop that offers lots of fish and toys for the fish. I added Mbuna cichlids to my already established tank and the lady there was super helpful, knowledgeable and the prices are definitely fair. Beats the Petcos and Petsmarts by tons, good overall experience, not to mention I really don’t live very close, but figured I’d give a more of a speciality store a try!

Wonderful selection of fish I been looking for pea puffers everywhere and I couldnt find them but I did today.. and all tanks was crystal clean and didnt spot one dead fish.. also they carry reptile supplies tanks foods pretty cool place go check them out

I had a cloudy fish tank and I am experienced and couldnt figure it out..one of the staff members recommended a clarifer and Im not kidding..worked in 30 minutes! Super friendly staff, super helpful and obviously pet lovers! Highly recommend!! Thank you guys!!
