Instead of the expected average office supplies you’d find at a family dollar , this place was overstocked with …. Minecraft paper plates and rolling pins ? I mean what kind of inventory is this! Guess this place didn’t get taxes back.

Prices are ok, but the store looks like it is short staffed (only two present at the time). Items laid out on the floor, shelves look empty, empty garbage collection right in front of the store. I wonder if other dollar stores are set up as this particular one.There is an Amazon locker on the premises, and an ATM machine is also present. Street parking only.

As a regular Shoppers there it's okay to shop for some of the things you might need your not getting everything usually things are sold out. The staff is decent so I gave it four stars because usually a lot of the stuff is sold out they don't replace fast enough example cleansing stuff for the kitchen and bathroom

I was outside this store 10 minutes before they was supposed to open up at 8am. It was a few people on they way taking they children to school trying to get something on the way and they still wasn't open on time. I called the store at 8:15am to let them know it's customers waiting to get in the store. I was told by the manager, we waiting for the system to update. So I waited 30 minutes to go in the store and they didn't have what I needed.

Very clean, respectful staff, and good quality food products, clothes, toys and household supplies, ect... for a good price, I'm addicted to this store 😀 recommend it to anyone seeking to stretch out their money 💰 😀 keep up the good work

Every FAMILY DOLLAR is different. I've noticed some have items others dont however The frozen food selection is usually out of the 1$burgers or beef patties those always seem to go fast . It's a great chain otherwise.

I give this store five stars my reasoning because I work here but overall cause the customers you guys keep us going.... without y'all support we wouldn't be able to give you great customer service. I love seeing the regulars that come in 3 or more times a day let's me know faces and I also remember how you like to pay so you don't ever have to remind me. I love the atmosphere staff is great too lol we like a family at family Dollar we look out for each other and look out for the customer as well and for anyone reading this review next time in family Dollar say hey to Durell the cashier that be at 1 2 or the 3 register 😂😂

I love Family Dollar.This store allows me to shop for what I want at prices I can afford.This specific location (392 Jersey Street) just opened up, so I thought “Why not?”, and decided to purchase a few things there. I walked in and was greeted by Richard, a genuinely nice man. My shopping experience was not bad. In fact, it was very normal for a Family Dollar on Staten Island. Long line, three cashiers on registers, and most customers were purchasing items for Christmas. Whatever, fine – I can wait in line. It’s a Sunday afternoon; I’m not in a rush.I got to the register and paid for my items with no problem. However, what I saw after my purchase was shocking, to say the least.Like I stated before, most people were doing their Christmas shopping. The store was crowded; in fact, the checkout line extended to the back of the store near the frozen foods. I’ve worked in retail/customer service for 13+ years, so I can understand how crazy things can get and how high tensions can be. There was an older female cashier working on register who was taking care of someone with a huge purchase (full shopping cart). I could clearly see that the older female was attempting to close out her drawer after the purchase (I guess her shift was over). I’m not sure what the problem was, but I watched as the Store Manager, Curtis, rolled his eyes and said some smart remarks to the female when she asked him a question. And I saw the look on her face, clearly indicating that those remarks were upsetting to her.Do that once, maybe you’re having a bad day or are upset that you have to work on a Sunday. I’ll let that slide by. But I watched as he did it three times to her, and then looked at my face and cut his eyes at me.You know what’s interesting? Curtis had nothing to say when his greeter proceeded to open a paper bag of empanadas and stuff one in his mouth on the work floor in front of him and other customers. He had nothing to say when a Spanish speaking older lady needed help and the employee that spoke to her before refused to speak to her again because he was frustrated. He had nothing to say when another manager from another store proceeded to take a phone call from his WIFE in front of a register. And he had nothing to say while the two younger women at the second register kept giggling and laughing at other customers (maybe they weren’t; but the laughter was obvious enough to make someone uncomfortable). So maybe his attitude was like, “Hey, as long as I don’t have to answer any questions, whatever. But the second someone asks me for help, they’d better watch out!”I understand that maybe you’re trying to establish yourself as manager – but that was the wrong way to proceed. If the older employee was doing such a bad job, maybe put her in a time slot/shift when the store is less busy. And if the problem continues, take the employee aside and speak to them regarding their performance; don’t reprimand them in front of other employees and especially not customers. And for God’s sakes, please cover your buttocks with your jeans instead of wearing them below your crotch. Maybe he needs to have employee relations training. Maybe he needs to learn how to treat customers. Maybe he should be spoken to by his manager. All I know is - if management is supposed to represent this brand, it looks like I’m going to have to find another store.

GOOD PRICES AND A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS...FOOD TO HARDWARE AND MORE...!!!!!....SORRY TOO SAY THAT THE LAST TIME I WENT THERE..THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE TO ME & I. WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER..??? NOT ANYMORE..IF YOU WANT TO BE FOLLOWED & HAVE THE STAFF BE VERY RUDE TO YOU ...I WILL NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!!A DECENT PLACE TO SHOP FOR ALL MOST EVERYTHING!!!!...AND TO ADD INSULT TO THE PUBLIC EVERYTHING HAS GONE UP IN PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!TRIED TO GO THERE AGAIN AND UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS THE SAME THING AND THEY WERE PACKING OUT THE STORE AND THEN THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE TO ME AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER EVER TRUST THEM AGAIN AND THE PRICES WENT UP AND UP AGAIN!!!!!!AGAIN THE PRICES WENT UP AND NOW THEY PAYING SOME DUDE TO STAND AT THE FRONT DOOR AND I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN THEY TRYED TO GO OUT AND THEN I GOT TO DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION BECAUSE IF I WERE BY MYSELF AND SOMEBODY PUT HANDS ON ME ...I'LL TAKE THAT DUDE OUT IN 5 SECONDS AND YOU ARE OUT COLD???????

Store was closed today for personal issues. Several customers turned away and then the worker who saw me standing there proceeded to bark at me “THE STORE IS DOWN” when i wasn’t even worried about entering. Will be sending picture to corporate i spend about $300 a month in this store because it’s the only one near me. But they need to restaff ASAP. Nasty azz workers who are miserable .

I recently moved to this area, and went to buy some stuff needed for my new home, and wow, first time I have seen a well/full pack family dollar, it wasn’t messy there was an isle been remodeled I guess but other than that, workers are friendly and lots of choices/ merchandise to choose from.

This Family Dollar is ok you can find what you need here pretty much the only problem is they need more cashiers working here you have 1 cashier working in the evening and you have 9 to 12 people on line waiting the cashiers here are good & fast but they need more cashiers here
