I love Samantha, Gianna, and all the groomers at BYOP they do an amazing job above and beyond. They make my dog look and smell like 1 million bucks and he smells amazing for three weeks after he’s been groomed. They also know dogs and how to work with you I highly recommend them

I had taken my puppy somewhere else before (he's less than a year old) and the groomer wasn't able to do anything and still had to pay. I was recommended this place by my mom, and it was the best decision I've made for my puppy! I had no hope because the other place I had taken him told me he'd have to be sedated to get any work done.This place is amazing, super easy to set up an appointment, prices are reasonable for all the work they do. I'm always happy with the results, my puppy is a little too much sometimes, but this place has great staff that have met my puppy's needs. I wish I had brought my previous pet here, who had a very bad experience somewhere else; I know they would have done the same awesome job with my puppy now. Highly recommended, I wouldn't change them for any other business when it comes to my puppy.

At BYOP, they are great, patient and attentive to details. They take their time to un knot all of my Marley’s hair. He is a schnauzer and they have been the only hair groomers that have been able to give him the cut (with a skirt) plus he loves it here. All the staff works diligently, are genuinely kind and are consistent with their results. They are absolutely the best on SI!Thank you BYOP!!

Took my GSD / alaskan malamute mix here for the first time today…asked specifically for no shaving to be done as my dog is double coated. I made sure to confirm only scissors would be used. I get home and take a closer look at him, and his groin / stomach area was shaved down to the skin. I was told he would be getting a sanitary trim (again I confirmed no shaving). Shaving was also done on his butt fur. This is very harmful for a double coated dog as the fur does not grow back properly unless scissors are used. For the price charged I should be getting my dog perfectly groomed and my requests should be followed exactly, unless changes are confirmed with me before they happen.Edit in response to business: I have had my dog professionally groomed many many times (including sanitary trims) and he has never come back completely shaved like this. I’m unsure where the business got the idea that I usually do at home grooming — it would not even be possible due to the size of my dog. Lack of communication can’t be an excuse when you’re dealing with peoples animals. A ‘trim’ is not usually a word used to describe something being shaved down to the skin. I asked for scissors everywhere and was told that’s what I would get.

I've been going to BYOP for over a year and they're great. They are punctual, do a great job with my dog, and will update you if there are any issues like needing to cut a little more off due to a tough knot that couldn't be combed out.

Literally the best haircut my pup has ever gotten. They were super professional, had full consultation about what type of cut we wanted. They didn’t have him all day, and he looks so adorable. I’ve been to many groomers and this is by far the best yet. Definitely worth the money. + he smelled amazing! For sure recommend 👍🏽

I really can’t say enough good things about Sam and the rest of the crew at BYOP. We’ve been taking our *extremely difficult* mini aussie there since we brought him home almost 5 years ago, and believe me when I tell you, they are the absolute best. Sam is SO beyond patient and caring with our boy, never mind how great she is at what she does! They work with you to figure out the best cut for your pup and the best way to execute it, especially if you have a little nut job like I do. Never once has Sam, or any of the other groomers for that matter, made me feel like I couldn’t bring my bad boy back and for that alone I am so grateful to them. We’ll never go anywhere else (sorry guys😂) we love BYOP!!

I love BYOP, I've been bringing my dog for about 4 years now and they have always been friendly, professional, kind and my Riley always looks so handsome when they're done. I recently moved to Jersey and still come to BYOP to get him groomed. They don't keep him all day, they are very quick which is great for my anxious dog and the results are always great. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed with the owner Samatha ! My dog got groomed there 3 times, each time the price got higher for her grooming. I had a conversation with Samantha and she said “ your dog is a large breed we have to charge you more” My dog was 6 years old and weighed 60 pounds, when I started taking her to get groomed there. She was already full grown! By the third grooming Samantha wanted to charge us $130.00 so the price jumped from 100.00 to 130.00 in a 6 month period. When I ask her if the 130.00 charge will remain that price, she said “no it can be higher then that” Very poor customer service!!!! I definitely do not recommend this place.

i took my cat, molly, here to get groomed for the first time and it was a lovely experience. someone was cleaning the shelves and restocking, another person was at the register and two others were available as well. i’m new to the idea of grooming because cats typically don’t need it, but mine is long hair cat. everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful with all of the questions i had to ask. they are also well-staffed so i was not waiting long to be helped. molly looks so good now and she is happier shaved. i will definitely be coming back on a more regular basis!

I have been to a few groomers on the island, but this one has been the best so far. My Clooney’s ears were plucked, nails shaved down, and mat free. The groomer also told me about some irritation marks he had, and showed great concern. It was also very affordable for the work they did. We’ll be back!

I took my miniature poodle to be groomed for the first time & they were extremely nice . My dog had been going to the same groomer for years & he moved & recommend this place to me. I am very pleased with the service they provided me with. They did an awesome job grooming my dog. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a wonderful place for there pets.

Went to drop off food for recuse cats & fell in love with the store. It was obvious that the staff are pure animal lovers & the cats & kittens where loved & well taken care of. The store has a good selection of food & supplies. There was the cutest dog being groomed. You can watch as the groomer works & she handled him well. I actually had a hard time leaving & I was there for a while. Felt right at home.

Called and asked if they did nail caps for the cats. Was told yes over the phone. When I got there the groomer saw my cats nails were already cut but proceeded to trim them more. I was told the price was $15 yet I’m still waiting for the nail caps to be placed. She then tells me they don’t do that but yet over the phone she repeated what I asked for and told me they do nail caps.Charged me $15 to recut my cats nails when I told them I already cut them (groomer only cut 5 nails) !!!
