I wanted to give this supermarket a 5 star rating BUT they actually had expired food in their isles. Huge pet peeve of mine and shame on Key Food!

They are too expensive for no reason! The prices can be way lower for the amount of support they get from the community. I only go there out of convenience because Walmart and Trader Joe's are not close, plus they are rammed.

Took my mom shopping when I visited. I really like the new update. Store is clean. Great variety of fruits and produce. Cooked meal options for the busy family. Only issue is the prices are really high. Makes me wonder if it's the neighborhood. I live in Suffolk County and I got most of the same options 25 to 30 percent less.

Very clean,and pleasant. Usually a Key Food's are very busy and unneighborly if that makes sense. However I didn't feel that way here, felt like I had been there before. Easy to find items,and the isleing made Easy and common for a new customer as myself. Saturday night guick run-in fast and surprisingly not crowded at all. Products are everyday uses and bot many subs th I had to make. Prices are lower than I expected and was happy with. So I hope that your experience is as good as it was for me. And enjoy. That best part of all..making it home.

Manager errors not keeping there customers happy. If you get an item for one price that the shelf says. Then when it rings up another price and you tell the cashier that isn't the price you saw it for. They call there manager on the floor he tells the customer the price on the register is the correct one and you tell or ask that he needs to give it for the price on the shelf and then he disagree to give it to the customers and get an attitude like you buy it or leave but that the price. And make it worst they had the same item in 3 places with the same price and still he wouldn't honor the price.

These charging stations are a waste of time. It took a half hour to put 5 miles of range. This is not a good choice for a quick fast charge.

if i can a rate it a 0 i will , but for now i will rate it a 1 .Absolutely hate shopping at this place they never take the expired stuff off of the shelf gave my daughter A go-go squeeze yogurt and it was expired from almost JUNE !! I also picked up a mango juice and was expired The 23rd of August it’s now September 6th i need an explanation for this or i will have to take this to a different level .

Lines are never too crazy but prices are a lil potent compared to other grocery stores but I go here bc they usually have things in stock the others don't like turkey ham, turkey lunchables, turkey bologna etc. I don't mind the extra cost then lol

Good place. Fresh produce, including some non-traditional items from the Caribbean and Latinx cuisines.The meats area always fresh, the shelves well stocked and the aisle are always clean. The deli staff is always fresh and helpful, with one person in particular always eager to make suggestions of things I might like.They have a discount membership card also, which helps cut down on prices a bit. Not a super large supermarket, but it's my local spot.

Love this Keyfood located in Queens NYC. I recently visted to pick up groceries ended up spending $320+ and they have a great selection of organic things like spelt floor.

This Store is put together well but the prices are relatively high, unless it's a good sale. The produce there needs to be fresher than they are. Some things that I buy Spoil Fast and they (tend to mix and wrap the old produce with fresh) n tag it for sale. Avocados are extremely high in price Haas 2 @ $5.... ? Dairy... You have to make sure to check dates... Because some items are expired or expiring... There are also items that are on the shelves that have been re-called (Pet Food) or are just expired food products. The Deli needs better monitoring of their refrigeration. Items spoil fast or are not to fresh to begin with at times. The Cashiers are Very Friendly. Sales floor service needs to be better.

Today, I went to one of he cashiers to pay for my stuff. She tells me the money is dirty; one of the dollar bills was a little wrinkled and not as presentable I'll admit.She then asked me where I got the money from at least twice as if she is some authority over me or as I had done something wrong. Where does she think I got it from???I asked, well what's wrong with it, she tells me it's dirty but still takes the dirty money, even when I offered to replace the bill.First of all, that came across as horrible customer service. For the most part the other cashiers I never have a problem with it's only one in particular who has some sort of attitude problem. This isn't the first time either. I hope no one else has to experience this. It's not really about the money.She just wanted to be rude and condescending for no apparent reason as if she had a personal issue with me.

I found mold on the veggies and not all the products are fresh. The lettuce are soggy and dull. The owner is rude and acts like he is doing you a favor.The owner sits near the register and haggle you for every little cent. He loves to do bait and switch on sale items. If you can afford to not go there, don't! Take your money to a business that respects your dollar and treats you with respect.

They have a nice deli here where you can buy rotisserie chicken and heat and eat entrees. They also have a nice selection of fancy but affordable cakes. The owner of the supermarket seems to prefer to hire Indo Carribean females as cashiers as that is all I see working here.

Very clean and friendly staff, always stocked and well maintained.Key Food on 225th street Merrick Blvd cater to many different cultures I've have lived in the community for 15 years and watched a seed blossom into a beautiful flower. Keep up the good work. My neighborhood key food. 😊

You have to be hypervigilant up in here because they don't ring up the sale prices featured in the circular. They were offering free potato salad when you brought a whole rotisserie chicken. Don't you know the cashier tried to charge me for the potato salad? My sister is always checking her receipts after shopping here and frequently finds that they haven't applied the featured discounts. Nevertheless, when I only need a few items I go here instead of Stop and Shop. The only other store near me which is Merrick Farms basically has no American food. Here they have a deli so you can buy cold cuts sandwiches and heat and eat meals. They also have a nice selection of fruit vegetables and ready made salads deserts meat cheeses and beverages even though it's a small store.

Horrible Service. Took almost 3 hours to just find out what my trade in would be. I gave them a cash deposit that day. They refused to give me back cash when I changed my mind. I was told I would get a check in 24-48 hours. I didn't receive the check until 9 days later.

This supermarket is good for running in , and out . It's clean. You just have to be careful picking up expired can goods, etc . Other than that it's fair
