I would rate this 4 stars , but the employees were terrible with regards to assistance. I asked if they have a small clear party bag and showed them a Photo of it and they replied look in isle 1! I looked all over that section only to find some other type of bags. I went back to ask the same question and got the same reply " isle 1", I went back again to search further, still no luck. I went back aging and one employee asked another and said Isle one again. Well instead of walking there and showing me where it was, they didn't even bother helping me. I gave up and walked out of the store. They have plenty of stuff in the store from floor to ceiling, but good luck finding what specific items you need. Service here sucks!

Its laughable that people are actually putting in their reviews "not all.99c " like are you kidding. Obviously the prices will vary according to the product. They sell large suitcases there should they let those go for 99c??? Be real people! The variety in this store is great and tje prices are appropriate.

This 99 cent store is massive. It has multiple lanes and the layout is as any other 99 cents store. The merchandise goes as high as the ceiling and some of the items are all over the place. This store has a great selection of helium balloons when needed and great selection of non-brand toys for the little ones. It is in a great location and it has parking. It is slightly on a hill so it may be a challenge for some to walk in the parking lot, but just park as close to the door as possible.

Dishonest people and straight-up lie to you. If you buy something, be ready never to see your money back. If the item is defective or if you just want to return an item. They will tell you their return policy at the purchase and not take any returns even the same day.

A very full, new store that has just about one of everything. Much better than the ridiculously priced Pier 1 that was here. Staffs friends and the prices are very good. I’ll definitely be back for those odds and ends....

Beware of employee Zamman who was cursing at my 11 month old baby in Urdu and calling her vulgar names thinking that I am of another ethnicity. Once I asked to speak to the owner he continued to tell me “I am the owner, what’s the problem”, I told him I would be issuing a formal complaint against the business and would like my refund of $69.76, he didn’t know how to issue my refund which raised a red flag as to he definitely cannot be the owner of the establishment. He calls the owner over the phone (not telling me he’s speaking to the owner) and asks how to process the refund. The owner was on speaker phone and heard that I was upset about something on the other end. He said “I am coming in 5 minutes” - Id like to mention the owner took amazing initiative to fix this situation and also spoke to his employee about this unacceptable behavior which is why this review is getting a 2 star and not a 1. My experience was horrible and my baby girl of 11 months did not deserve this behavior from a completely matured adult. Though the owner took phenomenal steps towards fixing this horrible and unfortunate situation I felt that others are obligated to be known of this particular behavior and interaction.09/05/23 REVIEW UPDATE - changed to a 1 star!An official complaint was made with Spring Valley police department. The person who told me he was the owner was actually impersonating the owner. He was actually the “supervisor”, this was found out once he was questioned by the police. He didn’t provide any information on who the actual owner of this establishment is. The employee that harassed my minor child hung up on the police officer when called and questioned about the incident. I will make sure I take the proper steps to get justice against this horrible individual.

Worst place everWent there last week to purchase items, asked about there return and exchange policy, was told I can return my items or exchange them if I need too. Then I went in today to return and the guy is telling me I cant return and accusing me of stuff that was irrelevant. This is the worst place you can possibly go too and the worst customer service.

This is a nice place I was looking forward to going there the only problem is the Sciences 99 Cents nothing in the store is 99 Cents I repeat nothing in this Thursday 99 Cents you can buy stuff and still make part of the store 99 Cents if you're going to advertise 99 Cents and then you can charge more for other items but you should at least have 20 items even if it's a leader so you don't have to misrepresent the store

Lots of variety, heavy on party items. Take a stop here before you go to party city to get your basic items. Lots of gadgets and small home items. Totally worth a trip. Credit card only for 5 dollars and above, so take cash if you are just running in for one item. Convenient location and parking.

This shop is great especially if you are a teacher looking for items to do art projects. Prices were not 99 cents, but still very reasonable. Of course there are also other things you can find. Household items galore.

New Item was factory defected. New Shower hose leaked first time I put on: didn’t take the return because it was opened. Never buy anything if sealed. How will you know item is defective if you don’t open to use a new item.

Dollar store is not a DOLLAR STORE anymore. Almost 75% of the Items are more than a Dollar.5 dollar store suites well.However items are more diverse.I like it and I am sure will visit again.
