Went there for some grocery shopping on our way back home. This is the first time I went there. Everything else was fine but the vegetables weren't fresh.The bakery section is very good and tops brand items.Well organized store and not crowded at all so you can do grocery on peace.

I like the Spencerport NY and Lac DeVille Tops stores the best 👌 I no longer shop at Wegman's and now Tops is my main Grocery store! Sales each week are awesome and I like Bakery items prices far better than overpriced Wegman's...Tops is my choice 👍

Need to send employees back to fish fry school. Probably the worst I ever tried to eat. So over done. Bought 5 for the family, had to toss them. But, they have the french fries down pat. Not bad for 65 bucks.

I only go here in absolute emergencies since it’s closest to me for single items. Produce is not good, everything is wickedly overpriced and their self checkout POS system is quite literally the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Takes 20 seconds to register a product you’ve scanned and it always needs you to “place the item in the bag” which adds another 20 seconds for it to register. Paying with a card is impossible, because you can only choose “cash” or “check” like it’s 1925 and then you’re sent through the vicious cycle of pressing “all cards” 18,000 times until it thinks hard enough to accept your payment. I’d rather drive 20 minutes away to Wegmans, Walmart, ALDIs, anywhere else than go here. To top it all off, it asks if I’d like to leave a donation lol. To who? To myself for checking myself out and dealing with how terrible your store is? Where’s my donation?

Produce goes bad in less than 24 hours. The meat is old and brown. Everything is way over priced. Their deals are asinine "buy 3 pounds of bacon get two free". Just a waste of time all around.

This has been our main grocery store to shop at for over a decade. I can’t go here anymore, and will give the buffalo road tops one shot. Sale items are never in stock here. Also, they have expired, rancid, and moldy product on shelves. Today I almost bought shredded Sargento cheese that is on sale that expired in July. It was in the back of the racks. That goes to show you that for months the people stocking the shelves have no common sense to rotate the product. I use to fall victim to buying expired stuff here, but now look at dates. There is constantly products, meats, and dairy items expired. A day or two is understandable once in a while, but 4 months expired is unacceptable. I see stuff here weeks expired, but never that bad. I’ve also have bought meat here 2 days before expiration which has been rancid. Also, the dole salad they switched to is always disgusting. The fact that most of the time it’s a week before the lettuce expires and rancid meat before expiration makes me feel that at some points people responsible for stocking are leaving perishable items out for time periods that leads to spoilage. I’ll never be back after being a patron who kept trying despite failure every time I’ve shopped there the last year or so.

Bakery items are reasonably priced. Rye breads are the best in town. Can't go wrong with the 10 for $10. Nice to take a walk around to find specials for the week as they aren't always advertised. Staff is always helpful.

They did a good job on their Mt Read store. Update was needed. What people fail to realize is how inefficient grocery stores are and one of the biggest contributors to releasing gases that are counterproductive towards the environment. Open refrigeration and open freezers continue to be used. The addition of a Starbucks was meh. But your self checkout is in parallel with Wegmans. Tops has turned their produce department a complete 180 as the product there often would be rotten on the shelf. I suggest only getting items from here that are on sale or with a coupon for Wegmans now carries many of the same products and are less (shocking but true)

Manager got rude when I said I don’t want the items that were coupons that I had brought not realizing it was a day early. She accused me of having “her” bag but would give it to me free. Accused me of yelling at her cashier. Ptoceeded to follow me out to the door harassing me and told me to go to a different store

The Spencerport Tops is a highlight in the chain. Although smaller in size, it is well-organized and well-stocked. It has a deli, but the hours are much shorter than the store is open. The front-end is cluttered per the normal Tops layout.

I just want to give a shout out to the bakery department. Mary (I think this is her name) went above and beyond to make the most adorable birthday cake for our sons first birthday. I didn’t even ask her to and she customized the cake to his theme that wasn’t an option in the preselected cake choices. You have no idea how you made my day Mary with such a sweet surprise. Thank you so much!!!

I went to Tops in Spencerport, NY, on 3/28. I like going to this particular store as they most always have what I want.This store always has a better selection of the Ocean Spray Diet 5 juices that I like, in particular, Cran Blackberry.Tops in Spencerport doesn't necessarily feel too commercialized, so it has that "hometown feel" to it.

Visited the store on December 29. Three of the young check out people were hunched over their phones, including the young man at the self check out.It looks unprofessional and was surprised management wasn’t around to correct this.This is our favorite Tops store and have never encountered this.

It's a great grocery store in many respects. They don't have as many special/international items as some other chains but there is a good amount. I especially like the friendly staff, discounts, and clean space. I almost took a star off because the labeling is sometimes wrong. For example a pizza labeled on clearance shows up full price on the scanner. Someone was happy to get me the correct price when I pointed this out. Thanks to the staff!

I know most people like that other grocery store we have in Rochester but I have always loved tops. They always have great deals and have worked really hard on keeping up with their selection especially with gluten free options. I am always impressed with how clean they manage to keep their store and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is.

Breakfast pizza is super delicious. Produce is always fair.... not great. Wish they had more prepared meal options like wegmans.... I like the gas discounts with purchases... good perk of shopping there.Customer service is horrible here. There is never anyone pleasant at self checkout.. EVER! Multiple staff members have gone through the position too.... they are either horsing around, have their faces buried In their cell phone and ignoring customers, or interacting with rudeness and terrible body language like the customers are bothering them. Time for some training.

This review is focused on tops gas service not the grocery part of the store. I have tried 3 times in the last week to buy an item use my bonus points and pay for my gas in the little out building by the pumps and all of the employees i have delt with are incapable of processing the transaction. Tops needs to train the staff better

The produce here is disgusting. I went in looking for a single red onion and they all looked awful. I attempted to find the best one because I needed it for a recipe. When I brought it home and cut it open, the inside was rotted. For the prices Tops charges, I would expect edible food.

I love shopping at tops is their selection is extensive and they have many locations in the Rochester area They also have a friendly staff that is always willing to help you find what you are looking for. I will continue to shop at the tops market grocery stores for the remainder of the time that I am in the area, and I would recommend it to anybody that is looking for a local grocery store home to select Tops.

I love our small town of Spencerport Tops Market. The people are very friendly and helpful. I honestly think that tops does a good job of trying to keep the consumer costs down and their own profits to a minimum.

It is nice how the food is good and it connects to dollar tree and everything here is cheep so i can walk to dollar tree to tops and tops to dollar tree

No pharmacy, but a nice location. Pretty small but so is the town so it makes sense. I do like that it's 24/7 since mostly everything else in Spencerport closes early. The staff is very nice as well.
