Always amazing quality, flavors selection and amazing portions! I can only eat a kiddie size. Seriously they are generous! Also there’s a nice park like area around the side to sit and enjoy your ice cream. See pic.I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend everyone to stop and try their ice cream! You won’t be disappointed.

It doesn’t feel like summer until Lugias is open. My go-to is this vanilla custard with rainbow sprinkles. But there are dozens of flavors to choose from. Portions are large. Prices are average.

Yummy soft serve and hard ice cream. It is hard to choose between all the flavors! We appreciated all the vegan options (about a dozen in all). The lines move fast so don’t be discouraged by the long lines. And there are a bunch of hidden picnic tables behind the building. From what I saw, port-a-potties only.

It was Monday and a hot 89° as we waited in line. I had one scoop of maple walnut ice cream in a cone. It was a generous scoop with lots of walnuts!! What a delicious taste with each lick. Also, friendly service with a smile. If you don't mind the drive, go the extra mile. It's worth every spoonful or lick!!

My absolute favorite ice cream place in Rochester. I look forward to getting ice cream here every summer with my daughter. We also bring our dog Sasha. 🐕‍ They have a special menu just for dogs!😁 Sasha loves their dog ice cream.🍦 🐕A Lil advice if you've never been...a large ice cream is huge.🍦🍦🍦 You will not be able to finish it alone. We usually get the small size and it's more than enough.

OMG I love this place. The ice cream is always more than I can handle but so worth it. I found them today by mistake because of a delivery I had to make in that area so I took time off after my delivery to have me a banana split that I've been wanting. DQ don't have nothing on Lugia's.

Lugia's is a great business! I have worked with them twice now booking an Ice Cream Truck. Their employees are kind and reliable and go above in beyond to serve their customers. I would highly recommend booking with Lugia's for an ice cream truck - not only do they have awesome flavors, they have friendly and timely staff! Thank you Lugia's!!

It's been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember we have been going to Lugia's and their ice cream always hits the spot! I know there are multiple places around Rochester that serve Perry's ice cream but there is something special about Perry's from Lugia's! Unfortunately in the past years since COVID-19 the prices have gone up and it's a little bit disappointing but it's bearable, still nothing beats Lugia's on a summer evening! (Visited in August 2022)

Always a family favorite. Perfect place to stop by for a treat after a nice afternoon lunch. They don't have traditional sizes though!! Haha make sure to look at their posters/signage when you're there so you see their sizes. First time I went I almost ordered a medium but thankfully my family pointed out their sizes and I was able to adjust to a kiddie size (2 scoops)which was more appropriate for what I was looking for. Only sad part is that eventually they close for the season, but definitely worth visiting 10/10!!!!

Our company recently had Lugia's on Wheels serve ice cream at an employee appreciation event. Not only did they serve at our 4 facilities, they served all 3 shifts. They were on time and very friendly toward our employees. Sherry was amazing in helping us set this up. But the best part was definitely the ice cream! We can't wait to have them back!

Butter pecan. I need not say more. Oh wait - waffle cone!Lugia's is the place to get ice cream in the Rochester area, and everyone knows it. I've been lucky to get the truck out at work events or other events in the summer month.The first time I ordered a cone, I got a "kiddie. " I thought they'd made a mistake. Needless to say, I now order a "baby" cone regularly. Very generous portions, so be aware!I'm not telling anything new. Next time I will not attack my ice cream and take a picture. Maybe.

Very small home town ice cream shop big on flavor. A small ice cream here is about as big as your hand. I was impressed that they had soft serve vegan ice cream. So good. Can't recommend it enough.

I love LuGia's, it is always fun to go here for ice cream! My only complaint is that the ice cream serving sizes vary widely depending on who's serving you. A couple nights ago we went with friends... I ordered (and paid more for) a small (three scoops) and my better half ordered a kiddie (two scoops). Unfortunately my portion was not noticeably bigger, certainly not half again as big, and that was really disappointing as LuGia's typically has been known for generous portions... Also the prices seem to have increased significantly making it not as good a value as it used to be. But still a fun place for an ice cream!

Absolutely "Hands Down!" the best ice cream I've ever tasted.Also, the amount you get is humongous, and although there can be as many as 3 lines at a time, the lines move quickly and the staff is always friendly and efficient....

We love Lugia's. We go here often. Always have very friendly staff and the portion sizes are HUGE! The staff is always happy to answer questions and give recommendations. My husband loved their mystery bag.(It's desserts that a mistake was made while making it or left overs). You get what you get.Only thing I tend to forget regularly is they are CASH only! So remember to take it with you!

Pros: Good ice cream, more than generous portions, friendly employees, a clean service area, plenty of outdoor seating, well-maintained, vegan options. *I highly recommend the vegan pineapple soft serve!*Cons: One scoop of ice cream is more expensive than 1.25 quarts at the grocery store. We do wish they offered a smaller option (preemie instead of baby? or "grandparent," maybe? LOL) for half the cost. Still, it's worth a couple visits a year to support an iconic locally-owned business.Bonus: Lugia's flies several flags on their property -- an American flag, a POW flag, a flag honoring police officers, firefighters, and U.S. servicemembers. Today, in addition to those flags, they had a Pride flag. We're unsure if the pride flag flies all the time or if it's flying specifically for Pride month (which is celebrated in July in our neck of the woods, unlike most places that commemorate Pride in June). It doesn't escape us that most places that fly flags honoring the military and law enforcement would *not* also fly a rainbow flag. And it did not escape us that Lugia's was flying both. If we weren't going to return for any other reason, we will return specifically because we appreciate this show of inclusion!

They have fair prices and good size servings. Customer service comes off as if some employees are racist.They are a cash only spot, they made us wait for a person to go to their car to grab cash before they let us order, although they write down every order and again you pay cash. Then we had extreme wait times compared to customers around us who weren't brown skin. Even the customer who ordered after us noticed and said something to how long we had to wait.My son was served the wrong order and when he said something they basically did nothing about it and said oh well. It was our first time coming and will be the last, didn't feel like I was welcome anyway.

Don't even question in, just go. Make sure you bring cash since they don't take credit. Family of 4 is usually less than $20, which if you have a family that likes ice cream, you would know is fantastic! If you like cannolies, then you will love their cannoli ice cream! Tons of flavors to choose from though.

Ice cream is reasonable. They had an event there with vendors and a flea market. Flea market was on the small side and the vendors wanted 12 a burger. Nice outside seating area to eat.

Big selection with vegan options.Loved the portion sizes and delicious ice cream.I got cherry vanilla and it didn't disappoint. Not the best ice cream I've had in my life but worth it nonetheless.I didn't have to wait long to order but they do get huge lines from time to time according to the regulars so take that into account before coming here.

I used to come here all the time as a kid. I miss this Ice cream everyday. Best gosh dang ice cream I’ve ever had. 100% recommend.
