I've gone to the big M since I was a kid. Although thier prices may be high at times, they have amazing deals every week. An the customer service is always great.

Very well-stocked small town grocery store! Not a lot of gluten free options, but I wouldn't really expect that. Decent produce, local ice cream in the freezer section, and the friendliest staff!

Certainly helpful depository of fresh, quality produce and consumption needs for your whole family at a relatively low-end product chain formulary. Always good to hear the stories with laughter as locals interact with long-time friends and neighbors abroad. Prices are that of theme park "fugit no contenders" predtorial like business elitist architecture. Economics shows a direct ascending linear relationship between haves and have-nots. Supply and demand squeezes a solid 30% higher cost per item, seemingly general random sampling than big box market stores. All in all a solid small town environment and business anchor for Spencer. Awesome for a small town store! It's nicer than the big super markets like Price Shopper and Grand Union even Wagmens and Tops. Oh can't forget Walmart. And prices okay for the things with the economy that is. They do have good discounts week to week.. Is sure cleaner than some of the supper markets.. it just a nice store and freindly. One more thing the food that they make for take out it's out of this world..can't complain about these items. It's home made 👍 like...It's Delicious!..

So glad this store is still in business! Keeps from having to go to the rat race in Ithaca. Always phenomenal subs, great meats, fresh produce, the best of everything in a smaller store.

We moved here October of 2019. We've been pleasantly surprised by how well stocked this small town store is. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection in Deli and meats.

I realize it's just a small grocery store in our small area, but it's a bit more expensive.I DO however, love that it's close by, open early & later in the evening.Some of the veggies aren't very fresh either.BUT....for a smaller store, there's a decent selection of products.

Usually a clean friendly place. At checkout an employee was at lotto scratch off machine, She coughed all over it a few times not even trying to cover her mouth. The cashier had a mask on that wasn't covering her nose. I told her it should be over her nose so she doesn't get the virus. She threw it away. Even though I got T paper and paper towels I wont be going back for a few months. If I live that long.

Nice little store with a little bit of everything.. they are more expensive on some items but they are a smaller store so that is expected. On my last visit I purchased some ground beef and I was impressed with the quality.

Two stars because the pizza, especially breakfast pizza, is super good. Everything else is wayyy more expensive than other stores. Can't believe there's shopping carts still there actually. Who can afford a shopping cart of groceries at this shurfine??!

I like the store, but today I went to get fruit. The prepackaged black berries, strawberries, blue berries and red raspberries were the ones I got. When I got home, I opened the packages and ALL of them were moldy and had bugs. I won't stop shopping there, but no more fruit.

Little Grocery store in Spencer NY, once you step inside you know your not in the city! People could come in dressed in just about anything, PJ's Too! Cause I done that. Good people work there looking to help in any way! Selves are usually stocked well and probably has what you need including rental movies! Great deli with great cooks! Prices are very reasonable! If your coming from Ithaca, Horseheads, or Binghamton and Spencer in in your path stop in to the SureFine Market an get what you need.

Really with this place it's hit and miss all I can say is pay attention to the paper and see what they're deals are because they'll have some good ones if not on sale I'll drive on buy because they seem to be quite expensive in comparison and as for the employees hit and miss there too really not a terrible place just no consistency
