Staff are fantastic and will set you up for the best possible ride. There are a few different lengths of trips you can go on down the river, plus you can choose from sit on or sit in kayaks as well as tubes. My wife and I really liked the sit on and had a wonderful time kayaking and relaxing along the way. Brief periods in the Rapids were a lot of fun. A little school of ducks even swam up close to us!

Knights Eddie to Matamoras is a great trip that isn’t too long and hits some of the best rapids on the river. This Indian Head base doesn’t have any frills - porta-potties and full parking lot were not a great way to start the day, but the employees were great and very organized. They moved a lot of people through very quickly!

This was such a good time. My wife and went tubing on the 3mile route. The trio took 3:15 minutes since the water was low. It didn’t matter. The weather was gorgeous. The water was warm and calm. It was great.Check in was easy and they accommodated us even though we ran late. They drive you to a launch dock and you end where you parked your car which I love so much more then having to wait for a bus to drive you back.Safety instructions were clear. They also make sure you get the water and push off.Honestly my only complaint was I didn’t have cash on me (fear of losing my wallet in the river) so I couldn’t t tip everyone. A company Venmo would be perfect so their people can get the tips they deserve.Already planning another trip.

This is the second time we've come here and enjoyed every minute of it! We brought our dog both times and he loved it! We took the smaller route 3 miles and it took about 2 hours (without rowing) The staff was extremely friendly both times. We will most definitely be coming again to possibly try the longer route next time!

What a great day! I went with family, there was 6 of us in a raft for the 6 mile trip. It was too short. The young’n had not been rafting before and grown ups had not been since they where young. It was a very relaxing ride. We did paddle to catch some white water which is why we did fast time. We all had a fun and loved the trip. The water gap and the Delaware river are beautiful sites to see.The service at Indian Head canoes was awesome. In fact we had left our car key On a life jacket down river and then not realize till you are off the bus back by the car. We got in touch with staff at Indian head canoes and they could not have been more understanding. They took care of it. Radioing down a relay down river, looking through the bins for the life jacket with the key on it, and brought the key back to base camp where we waited while enjoying beautiful scenery on a vacant camp site by the river bed under a tree.

My husband and I did the 3 mile tubing trip. We had a great time. The river was mostly calm but enough current to keep us moving. The water was beautifully warm and clean. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Just a great day!!

Staff picks you up on time and gives instructions to be safe and enjoy the time on the river. The ride was smooth and fun!. Be prepared for the ride bring lunch water proof bag for towels and water. Also be careful while on the ride and if one decides to jump into the river make sure to have your vest on or near even the best swimmer can get cought in a current and rocks are slippery even with water shoes. There are many nice parts where you can stop have lunch and a nice swim.

We had a great day on the Delaware with Indian Head. We only did the shorter 3 mile tubing trip since the water was slow and everyone had fun. The kids liked the rapid sections (mild) and the adults liked being tethered to the cooler float full of beverages. Bring watershoes, sunscreen, a cooler, some cord/rope to tether your group if you want to stay together, and lunch, they provide the shuttle ride and tubes. The employees were super friendly and made the start and end of the trip fun and easy. This will be an annual outing for years to come.

First time visiting - my friends and I chose tubing thinking it would be easier than rafting. We were so wrong. We chose the 6 mile trip without knowing how hard it would be to complete. For most of the trip the current wasn't strong enough to push us down the river, so we were sitting ducks. When we finally reached the end, 6 hours later, I couldn't paddle anymore so staff had to swim out to get us. 2 days later, my entire body is soar from paddling with my arms and feet. My legs are super scratched and cut up from trying to walk the rocks. There should be a clearer explanation of what tubing entails. Especially how slippery the rocks are. Staff watched us tie the tubes together and none offered any tips on getting through this. The views were absolutely beautiful though.

Such an easy experience to book. Beautiful campsite in the river. Setting up rafting was a breeze and rain a ride along the river is excellent. I would easily stay there again.

Booking was super simple and we were grateful for not having to book for four when there were only three in our party!Pull-off was very easy to find and the mile markers spoken of during the orientation were very helpful in gauging where we were on the river.Highly recommend rafting with this company!

I went tubing with friends at this location. The tubing itself was a lot of fun and the quality of the tubes and floating cooler was nice. However, the service was not too great. They need restrooms, not porta potties as well as approperiate changing rooms for the guests. The porta potty version of the changing rooms was filled with bugs. Hard to change since you can't put anything down to get changed.I've been to Kittatiny before and liked their restrooms/changing room situation more.

I would highly recommend this site for tubing. The staff was friendly, organized and extremely helpful. We didn’t wait on a line to fill out paperwork or to get our tubes:) We had the best time on the River can’t wait to visit again soon:)

Me and my hubby went camping Labor Day weekend 2022 it was fun rafting. But our camping ground did not feel safe no shower facilities Johnny on the spot toilets no Wi-Fi it’s to expensive that’s for sure.

Great time on the river. Tubes worked great and the cooler came in handy. The cooler is more of a mini raft that you can strap to your tube. Had to wipe down my tube since it was muddy. Overall great experience.

It was our at least 10th trip, did the very first ones with another company. We like IHC for their fast, attentive but relaxed services and awesome rafting! It was a cloudy day but rafting brought a lot of smiles and laugh!!

had a reservation for tubing on a nice sunny day. they told us at the start that if we have any problems to call the number on the back of the lifejacket. within 10 minutes of being on the river, we discovered that they had given one of us a tube with a hole in it and it was deflating. there was no cell service the entire way down the river and no way to contact anybody. the negligence of these people is insane. by the time we got to the end the tube was completely deflated and caused that person to get seriously beaten up and bruised on the rapids due to the deflating tube. never even mind the fact that a deflating tube can’t support a person and ran a dangerous risk of sinking the entire time. after explaining what happens to the workers at the end, all they said was “it happens sometimes.” it sometimes happens that you put people in a dangerous situation and don’t even offer and explanation or apology of some sort??? if you have any regard for your own personal safety, do NOT book with this place.

Don’t fall for riverside side campsites. Riverside is not exactly river view. You need to pay for showers dropping quarters. Bathrooms are nasty! River itself is beautiful though.

Very disappointed with their “customer service”. We had a reservation for June, but had to reschedule twice as it was thunder storming. The rescheduled date was set for today, 8/1/2020, as it’s my daughter’s birthday. When I spoke with the representative, I asked if we were all set, and she said, “Yes, all set”. We were not told to expect a confirmation, but apparently we should have. We called today while on our way there, and were told that there was no reservation under our name and that there were no boats left, and asked if we were sure we called to reschedule?!Obviously, whoever we spoke with last did not go through all the steps; and si morale of the story, make sure you have a confirmation, even they don’t mention it. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else, with better customer service.

Comes down to location when you rent a conoe or raft on the river.They are all ok.I think they all need to stress the use of life jackets more.Don't be fooled by the river .You wouldn't undo the safety lock on a roller coaster,or a ferris wheel,why remove the only thing that could prevent drowning.Enjoy,but wear that Life jacket.

They don't allow 'Bully Breeds'. Well, just so happens I went to another place instead, who does. And thank God I didn't leave my rednose pitbull at home, he saved my LIFE in the river when the canoe filled up with water and sank from right under out feet!! The current in the river was very strong and the dog pulled us out to the shore.
