WORST treatment ever just now by a scruffy scrappy employee — spent $50 on For Sale signs and sat on chairs outside while a friend used the restroom. Employee comes out and asks if we are buying the chairs and that “this isn’t a rest stop.” Absurdly condescending and insulting.

Great help from the guys there. One person wasn’t very familiar with what they sold their but the manager helped me out. Wish they had more on the shelves as I ended up buying the last grout they had in stock after our contractor miscalculated and needed a small amount. Happy we got it before it was sold out.In general it’s a great place to go to avoid to ride to Riverhead and deal with traffic.

This is why you should shop locally. Great place five stars. I bought a wheel barrel from them a couple of months ago and doing some heavy work one of the pot metal welds on the wheel broke. It was as simple as this I pulled up out front walk 30 feet inside spoke to one of the guys they pulled up a code and replace the wheel at no charge was in and out in less than five minutes. Try doing that at Lowe’s or Home Depot absolutely impossible nightmare that would’ve been and I would’ve gotten no satisfaction whatsoever. Shop local take care of your people and they take care of you.

I don't often post online reviews. In fact this is my first one. However, I was looking for some supplies and wanted to go here because they had storefront my pickup. Although it was my first time using this store, they were incredibly rude and unhelpful, yelling at me and not giving me my complete order. You would think that given the current crisis and that they are a local business, customer service would be prioritized above all, but that is obviously and unfortunately not the case. Next time, will use Amazon and I suggest you do the same

This store is super well staffed with at least a couple of very knowledgeable and articulate associates there at all times who can instantly figure out your problem and get you the parts and then you are out the door. I have saved an entire day or two every year not to mention untold stress just because of their efficiency and can do attitude. And it happens to be around the corner from where I work. Having his kind of recourse in the town of Southold definitely contributes to the viability of businesses and life in general around here.

I have bought useful hardware items from this store on several occasions. The store has a good selection. It is open on Sundays when my closer Greenport Riverheard Lumber is not. I shall be going there today to get a deadbolt latch.
