I brought my beloved dog Bamboo at the end of her life to NFAH to cross the rainbow bridge. The care and compassion everyone showed both in their process and manner was outstanding. Upon check in there were no forms to fill out. We were escorted to a comfortable room. The process was explained and handled flawlessly. After my goodbye’s, I was shown to a private exit. These guys understand pet ownership and I am thankful NFAH was recommended to me for this incredibly difficult life event.

Dr. D'Amato and his staff have always been so professional and helpful to our dog Journey who needs constant care.How wonderful to have such a great place to take your family pet for the necessary medical treatments performed so well here.They make it seem effortless even though they work so hard.

Everything about my experience with NFAH was excellent. My cat was suffering from an infection, and they were able to make an appointment available for me. They examined my cat, and were able to make a quick diagnoses of her condition. They provided me with all the medications she needed, and the proper instructions of how to use them. The staff there were very knowledgeable and caring, and provided my cat and myself with a great experience.

I've had 4 dogs over a period of 35 years. The care of North Fork Animal Hospital has always been exceptional. The employees, the vets, all so compassionate and caring. No place could be better.

Never fails to impress me whenever I visit the Shelter Island office. It’s always clean, everyone is friendly and compassionate. The care for my dogs is always top notch. I would never go anywhere else for the care and attention I receive here.

I just spoke to such a wonderful vet tech named Kelly , I called from my job for help retrieving records for a patient and she was absolutely amazing and very helpful! Everybody be nice to her! If she see's this thank you very much again , at the end of the day she didn't have to be that helpful , but i guess blessed is what blessed does

North Fork Animal Hospital is amazing, my dog had a surgery preformed there by Dr. Pisciotta who has done an incredible job. All the staff are welcoming and caring I would highly suggest bringing you're animals to North Fork Animal Hospital.

Such an amazing animal hospital!! The staff are so kind and thoughtful even when it's so busy. The doctors are thorough and explain diagnosis with ease of understanding, especially Dr. Malady, whom is especially insightful, practical and non invasive. Her diagnosis are spot on!!!
