Clean, efficient and friendly garden center that also rents u haul. Although the vans SHOULD be cleaned after each rental, I can't see giving them a bad review. I have and will continue to use them if there is something I need there. No problem.

A bit expensive but it is convenient. Most of the employees are super kind and helpful. Nice selection of plants. Love that they'll refill your propane tank rather than exchange.

You never think about a garden center until you need it, and then, if they are good, you love it. We, Agway Southold is great! Healthy plants, great soil, plant and vegetable supplements, reasonably priced propane, pots, wheelbarrows. Great knowledgeable staff.

Wonderful gardening and agriculture supply store. Extremely friendly staff amd owner. You can find almost anything or if they're not in stock. They will order it for you. Highly recommend if need hardening supplies or flowers.

Chick's has a great selection of nursery material, and garden supplies. Truly exceptional for the east end! The owner however, leaves a lot to be desired in terms of courtesy... "Valerie", is it? Not the most pleasant person I've ever encountered... yikes. Steer clear of her though, and you're golden!

Everybody here knows everything about everything in the store. They're like farmers, only chatty and not unfriendly to strangers. My neighbor is a farmer and in 20 years we've spoken twice. I count the nod he gave me as the second time.
