Most unprofessional careless pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Don’t even bother calling the pharmacy because no one will answer, not even being on hold with two phones will get you connected, or the 1 hour hold on a house phone, even if the front desk connects you and proceeds to tell you how many people are back there (6 by the way idk why they would tell me that you’re just telling me they’re ignoring the calls on purpose) . God forbid your elderly love one needed their heart medication or something important that they can’t access through the stupid app. Do better CVS this is about peoples health, and it’s clear I’m not the only one after seeing other reviews.

I just love it. Once you get the hang of self check-out and learn the location of everything (the big signs everywhere certainly make it even easier) one cannot help appreciating how quick, easy and comfortable shopping is a the local CVS. Plus when you need help, the people are so friendly and are very happy to assist.

Pharmacy phone completely offline, which I can validly confirm as I am in tech. Completely a liability, you’re handling peoples medications which manage our lives. This pharmacy has issues as it is answering phone calls and now this… very poor management practices.

Twice now we've been sent across the street to the local pharmacy for a prescription due to CVS vendor issues. This last time no one even bothered to notify me and the phone line was impossible to get through. I think we're done with CVS as a pharmacy. Just close the pharmacy and call it what it is - a well stocked convenience store.

The pharmacy used to pick up the phone to answer questions one cannot answer on the CVS app. Now the hold times have been 40 minutes plus the past two days and they never picked up the phone, I had to hang up. Now I have to physically go to the store to figure out what’s going on with the prescription. Also, the scheduling for vaccines has been getting worse over the past two years. I think CVS is chronically short staffed but n purpose. The wait time for a scheduled vaccine is long even when no one else is there. There’s no staff?

Worst pharmacy service. Been using them since last year and it’s problems every single time. There’s one pharmacist Barbara who Knows what’s going on. Everyone else is clueless . One female pharmacy tech is always super rude. They can never get it right. If you call be ready to be on hold for an hour.

All of the employees at cvs somers are so helpful and nice! They always go above and beyond to help. Gary always greets everyone as soon as they walk in with such a nice positive greeting. That is not alway easy to find these days. This is a friendly neighborhood store love it !

Somers CVS is excellent in every way! Another excellent problem solver helped me today!!! Their employees are knowledgeable professional and courteous. I have excellent service every time I go to Somers CVS for many years. When other CVS stores cannot accommodate me whether in the Vaccination center or the Prescription center or with store products I drive to the Somers CVS because they always help! I love this store! Thank you very much for your hard work! I greatly appreciate you!

They don’t know how to answer the phone, like other comments 30 mins later and no one answered. After getting a front manager to the back, the male tech snapped when I asked why they aren’t answering the phones and I work in tech so I know they’re ignoring callers. Hung up in my face

Went to pick up a prescription. Was told they are closed for lunch, come back in a half hour. I think this is new. I do understand that many places are short staffed all over. But, management wise, I think they could do this differently. Maybe stagger lunches or offer to pay extra to someone working through lunch or allow someone to leave early if they work through To completely close all services, especially if only picking up, seems a bit drastic. Also, what about working people who have to come during lunch to pick up a prescription?Also, the self service machines continue to be a disaster. Even after all this time, people continue to have difficulties and it takes a clerk to help out all the people having trouble when same clerk could just run a register. This is the fault of corporate, not just the Somers location. On a good note, at the Somers location, the woman clerk who is at the front, day in and day out, she is so helpful, so pleasant, so knowledgeable, and so patient. She gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. She is a CVS gem. I hope CVS compensates her often for her wonderful customer service.

Absolutely insulting experience with pharmacy. Obscene wait time despite there being so many people behind the counter they were nearly back to back and bumping into each other.The Best part was when referencing how long I had been waiting (when pleading for assistance) one pharmacist made a point to deny my claims of wait time. As a long time customer I felt not valued in least.And CVS shame on you for not having human cashier option available at this location heavily patronized by a senior population that struggles with the self check out.

Took a long time listening to waiting music on the phone at 6:45pm. Finally got prescription transferred and told on the way to pickup. Half an hour drive later still have to wait for another 30 mins. Definitely short handed or somebody is not doing their job properly. Quite disappointed with the only drug store around this area. Where are all the mom and pop drug stores? Sure missing their good old friendly ''customer services''.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is cause they’ve always been amazing with me, quick, respectful just great. However, today I told them I was coming on my lunch break at 1 they said okay that’s fine. I get there and this younger guy is standing in front of the line telling me they’re not accepting anymore people till after lunch at 2. Take lunch at different times so you don’t have to close. The worst part about it was he had an attitude with me before we really started talking and also wouldn’t give me his name. I love this cvs and have been coming here for years but someone with an attitude like his today shouldn’t be in that field. He’s usually extremely nice but after today I will not deal with him and will ask for someone else.

Do not go to this CVS branch in Somers if you require customer assistance. They are horrible! I recently went to scan some photos and they insist that “It’s self-service!” They even have signs all over the photo area. It’s the worst! I left after the assistance I received deleted all 142 photos I scanned. He was absolutely rude and didn’t apologize for his egregious mistake! He kept saying “It’s self-service!” It was so frustrating and demeaning. I walked out very disappointed and mad.Please go to the Bedford Hills CVS! They are wonderful, extremely helpful and totally understand customer service. The best part is they do not have signs all over the place that you have to do everything yourself. And they do not need to remind you that “It’s self-service!”I will never, ever set foot again in the Somers CVS. I hope that the corporate office is reading this review and provide the staff of this store some desperately needed customer service training. Horrible experience. Your staff and management sucks at the Somers CVS.

Visited pharmacy on 7-9 , poorly received by untrained staff. Presented with Gabrielle Fernandez, pharmacy manager who faiked to communicate in a professional manner. Ms Fernandez'response to her poorly trained pharmacy worker was "ok". Not an apology or acknowledgement that the response was inappropriate. A white male Pharmacy worker stated that host he was working on 2 hours sleep and then proceeded to speak un a curt and unprofessional tone. Stating " its not my fault you made an appointment......" he further stated that he would not open a Moderna booster shot for 1 person if he had no other appointments. Store manger was not available. Further action required.

Truly horrible experiences, each and every time. The latest experience has my 85 year old mother being denied a booster shot a couple of months ago because her health history didn't warrant one. Are you kidding? She's 85 years old with a slew of health issues. If the goal is to boost people, let them get boosted, for heaven's sake. Shame on you CVS/Somers.

Update 01/17/2022. This place Can’t get worse.Need to switch to a small pharmacy.For about the 5th time during the past year I received a text message indicating my prescription was ready for pick up. 5 times I showed up and the pharmacy did not have the prescription ready. Today in response to a text I received I called first. The system prompts indicate I have nothing ready for pickup.I called MULTIPLE TIMES trying to reach the pharmacist NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE AND THERE IS NO OPTION TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING AND A WASTE OF MY TIME. This place could not be more unprofessional or unreliable. They do not deserve my business. Tomorrow, I will call and have the prescription sent to a reliable place of business . Done with the subpar service at CVS SOMERS.IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK WITH A PHARMACIST!This CVS initiated a new prescription with my veterinarian because the previous one expired. My vet completed and faxed the approval. When I went to pick up the prescription, they had no record of it !! We repeated the process with my vets office resending the approval. After two failed attempts to have CVS fill a prescription, I attempted to speak directly with a pharmacy employee to rectify whatever the problem is on cvs end.I called multiple times today and each time the automated service (after taking me through all the annoying prompts) announced no employee was available. I called repeatedly! What a continuous WASTE OF OUR TIME😡😡not to mention not having the meds we need. Considering switching to a small pharmacy. STAFF UP CVS! Once you lose customers, most do not return !!

Horrible. 9 months pregnant and diabetic. Pharmacist denied helping me because they literally just closed and would not give me verio strips for me to be able to test my blood sugar. So bad. Absolutely terrible care and customer service.

My 1st time there, n although I had no idea where anything was, it was well layed out. It was also very neat, clean. n appealing to a customer.Another very positive issue is that, THERE WAS ENOUGH STAFF TO ACTUALLY HANDLE THE FLOW OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. It's most frustrating when you go to a CVS and there's not enough ppl on registers to help you, let alone ask a simple question.If I'm even somewhat close, I'll be glad to go2 that location once again.

They put an untrained staff person on the only register. She rings up 2 items 6 times and can't void more than 2 without manager approval. Said manager had just phoned up front and is now nowhere to be found.
