Stopped in for a meat sale that was advertised and the deals where ok. Employees clearly do NOT want to be bothered. Asking for crab legs (sign says ask none in freezer) the guy complained it was lunch time. Took a long time and acted like he did me a huge favor. Lesson learned, crab was not very good. Most meat was Mexico/Australian i will pass on this sale next time.

Their meat is spoiled more often than not. After over a handful of times getting sick from their meat I'm leaving this review to warn others. ⚠️

It was so nice to go back into that store. We used to live in town but moved out many years ago. I remember shopping there with my mother when I was very very small. The guy over in the prepared food was rather pushy though and kind of rude. However the place brought back very fond memories

Paton's Market place is a great place to get deals on meat, veggies, fruit and other stuff. The staff is helpful in letting you know whether they have things in when asked. They are clean and shelves are pretty full. Some times when sales are on they tell you when they may get more in.

This is an update to our local grocery store that seems to have given up on on whatever quality they did have if any.Moldy bread just hanging out on the shelves that looks like it's been that way for a week. Open loafs just sitting there.Extreamly overpriced everything atleast try to anyone not drive an extra few mins to go somewhere else.The meat looks like they bought the yellow stickers from tops a week ago and ripped the sticker off.

Meat department is great! Produce is horrible and the prices in general are ridiculously high. The deli runs out of there sale meats and will never substitute. It's hit or miss with people behind the counter in the deli there is a handful that are nice and chat with you the rest are miserable and snotty.

Limited selection and higher prices simply because it’s not a high traffic area. But you can find what you need here and the staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes better to go here than drive to the bigger stores 30 minutes away.

The hidden secret here is their donuts - they are the best I have had! Best thing to do is show up early when they are supper fresh, sometimes they will fill them right there for you. The apple fritters are amazing as well as the vanilla cream filled, or any of them really. I have gotten them several times on the way to work to share with coworkers and every time I get positive comments and someone ALWAYS asks where I got them! Produce is pretty good, they have some great meat sales occasionally and a normal array of grocery type items. They also have an outstanding deli department with some really great subs. If you haven't dropped by here at least for the donuts, you are missing out!

For a small town grocery store, they are fantastic. The bakery makes awesome donuts and pies. They have some items I can't get at the larger chain stores. Service is very home town feel.

Decent small town grocery store. Prices tend to be higher and produce is not always the best quality. However, with the current panic buying, the small town vs chain stores difference really shows. Bill Paton is going out of his way to help the local shoppers find things. He's better stocked than some of the larger stores. The personal touch really makes a difference.

Paton's is a good example of a local, family owned and operated small town market. As you might expect, they don't have the breadth of products of a supercenter but that is more than compensated by the personal service and knowing the owner by name. I have requested certain products and been gratified to see them appear. Over all I believe that if you don't find it, you don't need it. They do a fine job of feeding a small town and it's surroundings.Mom

This is the typical small town grocery store, the selection is pretty solid and the staff does a nice job. It's not the pittsford Wegmans by any means, but it doesn't pretend to be either.

Over priced, the workers can be rude and they almost always have the deli closed up early and refuse to open things back up if you come in before there supposed to be closed but are already closed. They have what's needed in a pinch but ready to pay an extra 3 bucks higher than what your used too..

Everyone is pleasant and helpful never paid more than $2.19 for eggs. Carries more brands than Wegman’s on Holt Road. Supports the Sodus community events.
