Idk what the heck happened, but the place has been leveled! No food. No Bathrooms.Only parking (15-20 spaces) and gas, which isn't a bad thing, but not good either 🤷‍♂️

This rest stop is a unique one. When you walk inside, there is a Starbucks to your left and a gift shop or “New York Market” there is a a variety of food options such as Sbarro,Dunkin Donuts, and Burger King. Upstairs there are arcade machines and interesting vending machines such as the Skittles one where you make your own cup of skittles any flavor you like. Overall, nice experience and very clean

This was the last stop I would make coming from New England and going down to pa to visit family….nice place to stop stretch, use the bathroom get gas and grab coffee….

Good place to stop for a quick bite to eat, to use the bathroom, and fuel up. It's the last service area southbound on the New York State Thruway so if you pass it, you will have to get off one of the exits further down to find amenities and fuel. Keep in mind also that prices are slightly higher for the convenience of being on the Thruway also.

It was nice and clean however they need to have more stores open during the early morning hours like 6:00 to 7:00 to 8:00 the only thing open is Dunkin' donuts Starbucks is not open nothing else is open at that. I understand that staffing shortages and stuff but there's a lot of people that stop by before 8:00 in the morning and would like some Starbucks however that's just me. Overall as I said it's nice and clean.

The last and best of the southbound rest area closures. The main facility is completely gone, the parking is closed and the gas station has no amenities or mart.

If you HAVE to stop, then by all means. But whoever wrote that the prices are the best is a straight up liar who is just writing reviews for the sake of being recognized as a "guide". Fool.The cheapest Mcdonalds meal, the #7 , 2 beat up cheesburgers, Med fries and drink was 12 bucks. I feel bad for those families that come in with 3 and 4 kids.If you want a coffee , they give it to you black and you have to stick ur hand in the dirty milk/creamer machine, to fix it urself. God forbid the employees would have to actually do it.Dont worry about the people I saw using the toilet stalls, then walking right out without washing their hands. You know where I found them? With their hands on the coffee creamer machine...yea no thanks, Ill take it black...sheesh

These rest areas are blessing in so many ways.We were on a road trip,which took us along the Thruway on the return trip. This old guy needed to stop a few times.As did my passengers. Whether for food,the restrooms, fuel or just to stop for a while,these stops are a part of our trips!

Advertised a Carvel ice cream shop along the road. Took precious time from my journey to get a cone, only to find it wasn't open. I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm up there and be sure to stop either before or after this rest stop

I stopped because I had to pee. I had trouble IDing the men's room owing to the oddly transparent AND reflective signage. I wasn't the only one who had trouble. FYI, Men's on the LEFT. A poor design choice. Signage of importance should be matte, with letters contrasting the background. There's a McDonald's and whatever.

Easy on and off highway. It was nice the big sign says McDonalds but there is other options inside. The bathrooms were clean and well staffed, the lot if large enough for the boat and trailer. Food inside is decently priced for highway

This travel plaza is our favorite because it is open seven days a week for 24 hours each day!Its beautiful little travel plaza with McDonalds, carvel, uno pizza and many other options to pick from!!The restrooms are clean and there are many vending machines.There is a lot of sitting area both indoors and outdoors.

Good place to take a break get some gas and food. The one thing I did not like is that these fast food resturants are more expensive then I am use to in florida. I would rather to to a regular resturant off the path then to overpay for a hamburger.

Fast food was fresh and seating for food consumption we're clean and nicely arranged . Music playing low but could be heard over the hum of people who were streaming in and out. I was there on a hot summer day so I remember how pleasant and welcome the air conditioning felt. The bathrooms we're large enough to accommodate without a wait line and we're clean deoderized and we'll stocked.

Convenient but very dirty. I watched an employee pour half drank sodas (out of the trash) directly into the parking lot near the entrance which explains the reason there were so many bugs around that area. With all that said im still giving it 3 stars because its not as terrible as It could be considering the volume of people passing through.

Easily among the worst rest stops I’ve ever visited. I tried two different pumps at gas station and both were not working normally; they would take me to the exit screen (“Thank You…”) right after I finished inserting my card, and after several attempts, I started pumping when I realized my the pump handle had no latch, so I had to hold the pump the entire time. The pump also repeatedly stopped pumping on several occasions while I was trying to fill my tank. The customer in front of me just gave up and drove away.On top of this, the price gouging for gas was absolutely unforgivable and exploitative to the common people — a full 60 cents more than literally the very next gas station just a few miles away down I-87. For shame.Moreover, you can’t even go back to the rest stop/food area after getting gas, as all the lanes are one way, and there was absolutely no sign mentioning same when you first turn in.
