The staff are friendly, the selection is decent, and the prices are good. They have pretty much everything you need, and the deli, meat, and bakery areas are nice. The produce can be hit-or-miss, and the organization of the main grocery aisles is somewhat confusing (maybe it's just me), but overall, it's a solid grocery store.

In general tops is a great place to shop for there is one customer service lady that works at this particular tops that is just a nasty miserable person that's why they only got one star that woman's name would be Linda so if you encounter her at the customer service get ready to miserable cuz I'm pretty sure she is so she wants everybody else's

Very nice place. Very clean and the food in the deli is excellent. We love their fried chicken. The workers are very pleasant.

Clean and well-managed grocery store. Especially, vegetable and fruit section was so great! All the vege I got was so fresh.I was looking for Basil but could not find it. The staff helped me get it.

Tops in Skaneateles has the worst customer service. I live in town and only go there out of necessity. Wegmans is much better. Terrible customer service. They all look miserable

Store usually has everything I need . They have an awesome deli although some of the employees have bad attitudes when asking about different types of deli meats. They have fresh donuts whenever I go so that's a plus . I would recommend anyone to to there . But be aware some of the employees really need an attitude adjustment.

Cute little store compared to its larger sister chained stores. Nice design reminiscent of the atmosphere of the town. Very nice area.

Tristan not only made sure that they would stay open for me to get there before close for us to grab my daughter her birthday flower bouquet to bring in to her school the next morning, but she Also put together the most incredible bouquet of flowers that I could have purchased from even the best of flower stores! Thank you SO Much Tristan! You have no idea how much I appreciate all of your hospitality, care, politeness and help that you gave me in making it so I could give my daughter such a wonderful start to her 15th birthday!-Jae

Loved here for 60 years and shopped there forever .Store usually have what I need but went there today to get some things and noticed a lot of black mold in the tops 2 percent milk case. That shows some poor cleaning practices. Food should never be stored with black mold around it. I'll check it when I go back again.that's not acceptable.

Very clean store with great staff and local management, all friendly and professional, but certainly more expensive than other grocery stores. One example: $16.99 per pound for salmon (and no, not wild salmon, that’s over $21 per pound), when other stores charge between $7.99 and $10.99 per pound for the same thing? Seriously?

Location is wonderful for those who live near Skaneateles. However, like most TOPS, they could improve the selection of local and organic options.The store could also improve the self-check out system which requires that you leave all the items on the side to weigh as you purchase items. I feel bad for the people who work there as this system isn't annoying for customers and service team.Kind folks and grateful to have this store in the area, but would LOVE if they could offer more organic and local options - we are in Finger Lakes farm country!

Fairy clean for a Tops and well maintained. Being the only grocery supermarket in Skaneateles, they tend to be a bit on the pricey side as compared to other Tops locations in urban areas of Buffalo or Syracuse. Great selection of food.

You have the ability to get in a out or shop a bit but this little Tops is always clean and the people are friendly. Just moved here a few months ago from Syracuse and I can say with confidence this is one of the nicest Tops I've even laid foot in!

This is a smaller sized store but doesn't lack in what it offers. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. This isn't one of the smallest stores I've been to but it surely isn't one of the biggest. I'm confident they'll have what you're looking for once you get inside. The outside of the store is beautiful and matches well with the town it is in!

I love this store. They always have a great selection of fresh produce and are very nice when you need help. It means a lot to my wife and I to be able to shop in a store that is clean, and they have always been on point with that too.

I always leave disappointed. I cannot believe that a Tops in an affluent area like skaneateles struggles so much to deliver on the most basic levels. “Fresh” seafood case is embarrassing and widely talked among locals, no one I know has or would ever buy “fresh seafood” here. Store and aisle displays are always crowding and making it inconvenient and impassable , poorly thought out. Every employee seems miserable and bothered when asked any question. Never enough registers open when busy. Compared to other Tops in the area this is by far at the bottom.

This is a very nice supermarket, with a great selection of standard and gourmet items. Staff was friendly, one employee spent a while helping two men find a very specific item even though it was late in the evening. Prices were fine, not cheap but not expensive.

After buying meat here 3 times it has always been on its way out. It's quite likely one of those supermarkets that repackages expired meat. The prices are quite high and the quality of produce is intermittent. If it comes pre packaged the selection isn't horrible but thats about all I buy here.

Get most of your grocery shopping done at this local Skaneateles store. They have a large selection of goods and their deli has a nice selection, as well. The only downside is that their prices tend to be pretty expensive.The biggest problem here is finding a parking spot. The lot is constantly full of tourists parking here, even though it's customer parking only.

I visit family a few 5imes a year up here and everytime I am in the perishable departments are always merchandised poorly. Deli's pre-sliced meats and cheeses are in trays that arent filled more than a quarter of the tray and tossed in messy piles with no care, and old tired trays that always look dirty from being old. The seafood department lacks variety, and freshness, the case is so small and so poorly stocked they may as well not have a seafood department. Same with the meat counter. It is an old style small butcher shop but the care put into the cutting is inconsistent and is usually pretty light on product. I understand wanting to manage shrink, however if you have a butcher shop it should be full and fresh to make it pop. Half full case displays just make everything look less appealing. Hopefully a district manager or store manager will see this feed back and use it to try and turn the companies wavering position around.
