My wife and I had an amazing experience working with Stacey for our wedding in November 2023. Easily one of the most fun parts of wedding planning was the tasting. Everything was delicious and made it tough to make a decision! (Probably why we went with 2 flavors in our cake, plus 2 separate flavors of cake bites.) The presentation of the dessert table was top notch and we received tons of complements on how tasty it all was. Some guests couldn't resist and dug in before dinner :). Can't recommend The Cake Shop CNY highly enough. Thank you, Stacey!

When we started planning our wedding, cake was one of the last things on our mind. However, once we met with Stacey, our wedding cake became the element we were most excited about. I mean we truly felt honored to have her as the master behind our dessert display. Our tasting was incredible. We invited our newly engaged brother-in-law and future sister-in-law to join us, who swiftly booked The Cake Shop for their own wedding.We chose two flavors - Italian Dream (lemon olive oil cake with alternating layers of raspberry jam and lemon curd) and Irish Car Bomb (chocolate cake in a Guinness soak with Irish cream buttercream. We had both flavors in regular and gluten free cakes, then we had cake bites and mini cupcakes as well. Five weeks later and we still have people raving about the desserts. Other than the dance floor, the dessert table seemed to be where many of our guests congregated the most 😉Our guests loved the grab-n-go options so they could fuel up and get back to dancing. At Stacey's recommendation we set up little to-go boxes which helped make sure nothing went to waste. Our guests were thrilled to have some treats for the ride back to the hotel, from what I heard they didn't last much longer than that.Stacey is easy to work with, fun to be around, and highly professional from her very first email to her post-wedding follow up. We live in Rochester, and we have plenty of great bakeries around home that we love, but The Cake Shop will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and when it comes to the big milestones, we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.Thank you Stacey for bringing our vision to life and so many smiles to our loved one's faces.

We had a great experience with The Cake Shop CNY for our wedding! Stacey made the most gorgeous cake for us, and delivered on our vision perfectly. We went with the lemon olive oil cake and it was SO delicious! The Cake Shop will also bake a small version of the wedding cake on the couple's one year anniversary, which I think is such a nice touch! I would highly recommend The Cake Shop!!

Everyone RAVED about the cupcakes and cake at our wedding (us included)! Stacey was so wonderful to work with every step of the way, and I love how much she cares about the integrity and quality of her product. One thing that really stood out was that included in the price was a small anniversary cake that she’ll make fresh for our first anniversary, so that we don’t have to eat year-old freezer-burnt cake saved from our wedding day. She also kept an eye on the weather, since our venue was a barn without any climate control, and she was prepared to adjust her delivery time to ensure the cake wasn’t subjected to heat/humidity for too long. In other words…she has exceptional attention to detail and really does make sure she delivers an exceptional product! We had a 2-layer cut cake along with 3 flavors of cupcakes (including 1 vegan flavor which everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike, loved) and they all looked beautiful and tasted fantastic!!(As an aside, we HIGHLY recommend combining the spice cake, cream cheese frosting, and apple pie filling…it was an AMAZING combo!!)

As a wedding photographer, I've seen and eaten a lot of wedding cakes. But, as many cakes as I've come across, the time and love that Stacey put's into every cake she creates makes hers some of the best that upstate NY can offer. Not only are they fresh and flavorful, but they are some of the most stunning works of art I've honestly every seen. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into each and every desert she crafts, and it would be a disservice to all desserts for you not to at least give 'em a try!

Stacey is an amazingly talented, friendly, and responsive baker. Here is our story that attempts to capture the level of deliciousness in her cakes:When my husband and I met with her for a cake tasting, I knew after just a few bites of her cakes that we would be choosing her. The cakes are gorgeous, custom designed, and more importantly, my husband, who is not typically a cake fan, LOVED it… as did the 120 people who attended our wedding reception. We had a guest list of 180 and didn’t scale back out 3 tier and 75 cake bite order. I thought we would be sending people out the door that evening with to-go containers filled with cake, however we were left with just a few cake bites. It was hard to determine which flavor was the crowd favorite of the season selections we made: pumpkin with cream cheese frosting, white cake with fresh raspberries & vanilla buttercream, death by chocolate cake bites, and spice cake bites with apple filling. These were just 4 of many unique flavors that Stacey offers.I cannot recommend Stacey at The Cake Shop CNY enough. She is an absolute delight and her cakes reflect that as well. Thank you, Stacey!

Stacey is a beautiful human inside and out. Between the tasting, communication and final product she was one of the best experiences of my wedding. There was zero stress revolved around the cake, she even bought the flowers and decorated for next to nothing. Her prices in my mind are extremely fair or maybe even low. The cake was AMAZING, it’s been a week and people still are texting me about it, it is not your typical wedding cake, it is super flavorful and just fantastic! Once I reached out to Stacey via email, I knew I was in good hands for our wedding cake. She took my inspiration photo and crafted a cake so beautiful it was as if she took it right out of my mind! We had the pleasure of working with Stacey for our wedding and she did such an amazing job with all of our desserts and the display. Stacey’s professionalism, kindness and talent became immediately apparent when we first met her for our tasting. She made sure the cake tasting was an incredibly pleasant experience, and she takes you through a step by step overview of all of your options and is prepared to answer every question you can imagine (and she’ll preemptively answer those you didn’t even think to ask). Every flavor that we tried was to-die-for, so we decided to offer a variety of flavors using her cake-bite option. She gave us perfect guidance in selecting the amount to serve and all of our guests RAVED about how amazing they tasted. We also served Rice Crispy treats that were a huge favorite of our guests.Stacey came to set up the entire dessert table on our wedding day and it looked incredible. Stacey was amazing to work with. Once we saw her cakes we knew she was the one. And let me tell you, her cakes are AMAZING! I literally have NEVER tasted a cake so good & moist. I am a huge cake fanatic, so that says something. My husband does not like cakes or sweets & loved the Italian Olive Oil cake. It was to die for. Our guests cannot stop raving about all the cupcake flavors & cake. She even made sugar flowers for our cake...absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things, and everyone needs to book her. You will not be disappointed. For your 1 year anniversary, she will make you your wedding cake top. She is amazing. We will be making special trips, just to get her cake. The Cake Shop did our cake and dessert table for our wedding and they were absolutely fabulous from day one. They were easy to work with, responsive, accommodating, and professional. I love that they are able to make cake bites which is a small piece of cake on a popsicle stick which made it so we didn't have to formally serve cake. 10/10 would recommend!

Stacey made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect. We really appreciated the opportunity to do a tasting, as it helped us find the perfect flavors. And Stacey was extremely flexible and friendly throughout the entire planning process: two weeks before the wedding, we needed to make a significant change to our order, and she made it happen without a problem! On the wedding day, she created the most beautiful cake display I have ever seen, and the cake was DELICIOUS. She was even able to make separate accommodations for gluten and nut allergies. I highly recommend her work.

Stacey is fabulous. We had a short notice (<2 months) request for a relatively extravagant cake for a highly particular bride. We went with the Irish Car Bomb 3-tier cake. It was incredible. It looked absolutely perfect with sugar flowers that blew our minds. We did not expect it to taste as good as it looked, but it was incredible! The cake was moist and the cream layers were complex and rich, much better than any wedding cake we have had. Stacey made herself available for questions/concerns throughout the process and delivered the cake to the finger lakes with no problems and on time. Even when there was a humidity issue that jeopardized the lace layer on the cake, she contacted us immediately with alternatives and solutions. We cannot recommend The Cake Shop CNY enough for high-end wedding cakes that look and taste amazing.

Stacey and her team at The Cake Shop CNY know what they are doing! Great communication throughout the wedding process, and above all their desserts are the best in the area by far! We opted for their cake pops, French macarons, and three small cakes to honor our marriage and to celebrate some milestones with our loved ones. My experience with The Cake Shop has been 5 star from the beginning to the end. From our cake tasting (pre covid) to our wedding day Stacey has been so amazing. At our cake tasting it was so much more than just trying cakes, you enter her cute store front and sit at this perfectly set table and try 4 amazing cakes. She has so much knowledge in different desserts and her work is amazing. When our wedding day rolled around she was there to set our table and display our dessert selection! The blueberry cobbler macaroons are BEYOND amazing I have dreamt about them since our wedding day! The Cake Shop is so much more then picking a wedding cake and getting it delivered on your wedding day. The experience of the whole process and the interaction with Stacey makes it so much more special!
