Is this the best Ace Hardware in the US? Quite possibly. Not sure why Ace isn't in the business name but it is the nicest one I've ever experienced. Typical Ace amazing customer service, everything you could need, great plant selection, very close to town. Ace is the place!

Always very helpful staff. Wish the lumber yard hours were more clearly posted or even bettter they were in-line with the retail hours. Very frustrating to show up later on a Sunday afternoon only to find you cannot actually buy any lumber.

This place has pretty much everything. Can be a little pricy but to be expected in Skaneateles. Paying for the convenience of not having to drive all the way to a big box store.

Really nice, clean hardware store, especially if you are also looking for home goods. The staff is really friendly. They have some of the nicest cared for houseplants around - other store's plants are half dead and covered in bugs. The selection of certain things can be a bit limited. I get it, it's not a warehouse, but sometimes it surprises me what they do or don't have. The place is actually quite large, but the space allocated to tools, for example, is relatively small. They usually do a good job of stocking decent brands and model choices at least. Some items are also a bit pricey compared to the big box stores. The paint sales are good and their reward system is nice.

Incredibly helpful staff and perfect for quick trips. The have a good selection of tools, plants, paint, and miscellaneous supplies.Sure they have less than Lowes and Home Depot, but convenience can make a huge different.

I have consistently received great customer service at Ace in Skaneateles, NY. The manager Pam has went above and beyond numerous times. She has helped to resolve order issues & provided follow up calls for questions I’ve had that she needed to check with her landscaping & garden expert to answer. I find myself relying on Ace more & more lately instead of the bigger, closer competitors, since I can guarantee the superior quality of products, which they stand behind. Also I can trust the information & advice provided. The rewards benefits are just another reason I regularly choose Ace over their bigger competitors. This location of Ace hardware is larger and more well-stocked than most small-town hardware stores, but it still has a friendly, local feel. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Wide selection including lumber, gardening, paint, electrical, plumbing, tools, camping/beach, landscaping, etc. Local delivery is available for some items. Very impressive for a village hardware store!

This store is awesome they normally give out popcorn which is cool at a hardware store very big selection of paint. We got three colors of paint. I also got pants for q fan it worked great!! Also the paint for the office ended up looking nice!!!

Probably the cleanest hardware store I have set foot in. Skn. Town Square has a vast selection of tools, lumber, paint and staining supplies, cleaning needs, electric and HVAC, and lawn and garden. The store also carries a surprising amount of homewares and gifts. Prices are a touch on the higher side.

Skaneateles Town Square is the only hardware or home improvement store I'll go too. The selection is great, much more than your standard Ace, and they have a large indoor lumber yard as well. However, what makes this store stand out the most are the exceptionally helpful people that work there. Never have I had to wander the store looking for what I need (like one often does at many big box home improvement stores) and the employees are knowledgable about what they sell. In addition, the prices are very competitive and the Ace Rewards program makes it even easier on the wallet.
