If you haven’t tried the Silver Bay General Store lately, you should go! I thoroughly enjoyed my “second breakfast,” which was Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a roll.The general store also had the items we needed but didn’t want to drive far for: ice, souvenirs, snacks, etc. The owner was so friendly too! We are just here for a few days, but I’m sure we will be back!

Under new ownership! Mr. Paul Budd is the new owner and he is stocking the store with local goods! A wonderful general store with a breakfast and lunch counter.Very friendly staff and eager to help!Stocked with beer from local breweries. Soon to be stocked with dairy products from local farms!Daily lunch specials! Make sure you check out their social media pages.Great place for a pit stop: food, drinks, and snacks! And soon fuel too! Great place for families with kids!

We stayed right down the road from here for a week and I went here every day. It was such a cute store and the owner was so knowledgeable of the area. He had so many regionally sourced items from bread, to maple syrup, to fresh bacon and eggs. Such a cute selection of gifts and old fashion candies! They also make great breakfast sandwiches and have iced coffee!I love supporting local business owners and this place just added to the whole ADK vibe we were going for on our trip!Thanks for your hospitality, smiles, and food! We will be back!

This place is one of kind . It’s a great store for your basic needs . The owner is a super guy that will do his best to order an item that you want . Driving to Bolton Landing or Ticonderoga can be a pain and time consuming . Looking forward to getting back this summer and getting my Blue Monster Energy drink.

I used this store a number of weeks ago when we were staying at Silver Bay. I will never be back. The goods were overpriced to begin with, and the owner attempted to charge me for cigarettes that the person ahead of me in line had purchased. So I was charged over $40 for a small bag of groceries.He didn't seem particularly phased when I corrected his mistake, which makes me believe he often makes similar "mistakes" to see what he can get away with. Please avoid.

Under new ownership! Now takes credit card, expanded merchandise selection featuring locally made items, fresh breakfast and lunch sandwiches, friendly staff! We love having it right across the street!

New owner Paul Budd is breathing fresh life into this Adirondack general store. Beware negative reviews prior to end 2021 when ownership changed. Expanded deli hours including morning breakfast sandwiches, daily specials, and the addition of locally roasted coffee are welcome additions.

They do not take card credit/debit. CASH ONLY. The selection is alright for their location nothing special. They do have Adirondack stickers/gifts and Silver Bay shirts/sweatshirts.

Cash only, store owned ATM they want you to use instead. No bathrooms. And they won't even let you make your own cup of coffee, which the $2.50 small was very overpriced anyway. Save the hassle and $ and drive up the road to Stewart's.
