I love the close drive for me to this store! Usually end up getting something from each department on a good shopping day. I come in quite often although it might be a little more some things are worth the quality of the food. The quality of service depends on the day. I shop here quite often due to it being about 10 minutes if that from where I live. You might not find everything you are looking for and some employees don’t always look to happy to be there. There are better way to push your product without making them not be able to talk to the customer like people. You focus to much on the sale and not so much on the customer. However, I will say they could do a better job on how everything is organized in the store or have a better electric system that helps you find the product on the aisles. They are behind the competition in this sense.

It's now the only supermarket/groceries store within a 30 mile radius of the area. For the past almost week now, they had absolutely no milk in stock!!! Frustrating when milk at the gas station down the road is $6 a gallon. They are convenient for the fact that they stay open until 1 AM. Which is almost unheard of now, since COVID, (including Walmart).

Ughhhh... I hate self checkout. Please just hire more employees or at least take a half hour's wages off my purchase since it takes me that long to ring up about 6 items. I know this is everywhere, not just this store, but jeez, nobody likes it. I want a cashier that knows where the stupid barcode is already, can easily ring up fresh fruit, and doesn't annoyingly repeat "Please place the item in the bag" in my face for 5 minutes when the item IS in the bag. The cashiers are very nice, there's just always a million people in line. Not a lot of vegetarian or lactose-free options, but has the basics. Pretty clean store, reasonable prices. They put up with my (ex) friend's insane loud racist rant- handled it very professionally. Just gotta hire more cashiers!!

Not a bad store, but not a great one either. Customer service is subpar. If a certain employee is working the night shift, be prepared to have one check out lane... even if it consists of 18 people! I've called in the past for a certain item(s) and it always seems like they just can't help. As if there are other things to do. The level of care and concern let alone customer service anymore has plummeted today. Price Chopper right??.... do you guys even realize how expensive it is to shop at your store? Corporate this is for you.

A nice store in a small town. It's very over priced, but that's to be expected. They have a nice gluten free section, especially for a small town. I was disappoibt3d in the selection of low fat shredded cheese, but we can't win them all.

Don't buy fish here. And friend and I both ate different types of seafood here prepared at both of our respective homes, and we both got sick. They really need to check and make sure things aren't getting refrozen like the freezer burn might indicate...

I got a salad the other day with a bunch of chopped up cabbage hearts. Totally disgusting. Price chopper has slipped a lot since the golub family owned it. Update: Nothing improved one less star

This store has human cashier's. You can self checkout if you want to,. but interaction with a person is great.The store is clean and the staff is friendly. As compared to other stores it is well stocked.

Small town friendly feel. Great selection of items. Store is clean and most shelves are well stocked (except the cat food 😉 with nation wide shortage.) My check out person was extremely nice tonight. Highly recommend!

Worst store ever. I watched the produce guy pick stuff up off the floor and put it back on the shelf and then laughed about it with the other employee. When management was made aware of the situation they just laughed and said it is still sellable. Absolutely disgusting. I wanted to call the health department on them.The cashiers are always rude and management knows absolutely nothing and they make it seem that the customer is wrong and just an inconvenience to them. The floral employee looks like she is high all the time and knows nothing about floral. More worried about her wig and fake eyelashes. I will never step foot in that store again.

The sheer incompetence over most of the employees is overwhelming. The seafood guy couldn’t transfer me to the meat dept. so I had to deal with the “press this, press that” sh peel all over again. I finally get though to the meat dept, the phone is rudely answered “HELLO?!” The employee can’t find the price per pound on London broil. I say it should be near the price total for the cut. They come back and tell me all they have is London broil roast beef and it’s &15/lb. Serious incompetent. You guys can all do better.

I like price chopper and regularly shop with them but this trip was less than satisfactory. The sale on some of my items did not ring up properly and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier she shrugged and said "things just cost more now". So I took the items and receipt to the service desk where she refunded me the overage.

If it’s the only store around then you can’t really complain. They have a decent selection and variety but but seems much more expensive than other grocery stores in the area. Personally I like Hannaford in Oneonta better, but I’m in the middle of both so I have my choice. The loyalty card thing is annoying because no matter how many times I talk to customer service, my phone number is never linked.

To the person in the deli who thought that it was ok to send out a package of grab and go bologna with chunks almost 3/4 of an inch thick… I do not find it funny. And the fact that customer service wants me drive back to the store for a refund in todays digital age. It would cost me more in gas than the refund would be worth. Also, please stop obnoxiously placing the labels over the ziplock portion of the deli bags so you have to tear them open and cannot reseal them. Other companies have figured out how to do this well.

This store is great! Produce is very fresh! Meat selection is plentiful! Deli attendants are friendly and glad to serve you the products available to the shoppers. A great variety of foods throughout the stores departments. The seafood section is filled with fresh choices! It's also a great social event because I run into many people that I know! Right now the area is buzzing with the out of town hunters who are happily shopping for their stay in the country. Great to see the happy faces!

I can't believe that no one has posted anything about the produce department. Look at the package dates... Almost like clock work I buy produce and within 1-2 days at the most that produce is rotten.

Price Chopper has become way to high priced on all items. They no longer have any local competition so I think that they believe they can just raise prices as high as they want. If I were you I would think about going elsewhere for your grocery needs. I know I will be looking at other places

Conveniently open 24 hrs. CS desk not always staffed all hrs; inconvenient to have to come back when you don't live locally. Otherwise, love the points = $ off cost of gas. Thank you to all those with great personalities & friendly smiles; always so helpful & a pleasure to see.

I like price chopper but I wish they didn't get rid of the higher quality meats they used to have in the deli and the custom 6 packs of beer you could mix and match yourself. Some things here are much cheaper than other places but some are much more expensive as well. When it gets busy here you could be waiting in line up to 15 mins which I find unacceptable for a company this size.

One of the only local grocery stores. Price chopper is typically pricy , but they have great sales and deals. This store can be quite busy during rush hours even in self checkout lanes. The shopping plaza is pretty empty so there is plenty of parking available. There is a deli, fish, flower and hot food section. Store is pretty well organized and easy to find items.

I'm sorry to say,this store has gone drastically down hill in the past few years. I understand that we are in the midst of a "pandemic", but at this point there is no reason for so many empty shelves, when all the other local stores are fully stocked. When asked about this, their answer is that their suppliers are different. Really lame answer if you ask me. There's a freezer that sits empty for the last couple of visits. The one way entrance and exit at opposite sides of the store is ridiculous when everyone is wearing a mask upon entering anyway.(BTW, not all Price Choppers are doing this). The staff is great! But I'm afraid management may be slipping at the corporate level.

I SHOP MONTHLY AT PRICE CHOPPER IN SIDNEY, NY, LOST 1 FULL BAG AFTER CHECKOUT, I CALLED THE STORE TO SEE IF IT WAS RETURNED, NO LUCK, WENT THE NEXT DAY TO REBUY MOSTLY MEATS AND BUTTER,SHOWED MY RECEIPT TO CHECK AGAIN. THEY let me take what I bought again AT NO CHARGE FOR THE ITEMS I lost, everyone was so kind. WHAT A STORE, GOD BLESS MANAGEMENT AND ALL. BEEN GOING THERE A LONG TIME AND WILL NEVER CHANGE!!! Overpriced, so so quality of store brand merchandise. It was very busy this evening when I went in at 11pm on a Friday, to grab a couple necessary items. And, there was only one register open. I get late at night isn't usually the primetime to shop but they should at least have a backup person to run a register when the line is backed up through the aisle.

There is never any of the sale items on the shelf and if you are going to be the only grocery store in town bump up your stock orders to keep the shelves stocked

Went to the deli for a sub, man pointed me to pre-made subs, grabbed one wanted tomato. Stocking guy helped me. Got to the car with the sub. The meat was thrown in the middle in one mass, not spread out. The lettuce was rotted and slimy. Not great. The stocking guy was great though.
