Clean store, normal selection of items, the place you go for a few necessary items or cheap gifts. Staff is decent, not too much parking though. Area it's located in isn't awful. Prices aren't terrible but if you're looking for electronics specifically I would say go somewhere else. They have food, clothes, toys, auto supplies, cleaning supplies, household items, etc.

Great store to get things you need quick. I enjoyed going in and got out fast. The cashier I dealt with was very friendly too. The store is a little run down but I still enjoyed the experience.

This store is ok. Well stocked dollar general. It is an older Dollar General and feels a little disorganized when I go in there but overall the workers there are always friendly and helpful and I usually find what I need.

I live in Walton and the Walton store was out of the item I wanted. So I called surrounding stores. Sidney store NEVER answered their phone after calling several times and letting it ring and ring for about 15 rings! Called the Otego store and the answered on the second ring. They have 4 of the item I want and will be going there to buy all 4! Guess Otego has the better customer service!

Nice clean store, very friendly staff. The lady at the cash register was very informative about the surveys at the bottom of the receipt. Told everyone about them.

The aisles are almost always full of product waiting to be put on shelves, which ought to be an OSHA violation.The staff is often ill-mannered and discussing inappropriate things in front of customers (including how much they hate their jobs).For nearly a year now, two of my debit cards from different banks lock their points of sale up so badly that they require a cold restart, which takes several minutes. Sales cannot be completed with these cards. Dollar General, do you know where else my cards work? EVERYWHERE.(For what it's worth that's not the Sidney location's fault; it happens in Otego and Oneonta, too.)

I don't know what has happened to this place. Not clean, difficult to get through isles, cashiers aren't trained in customer service. The store could use a good cleaning and reorganization.

Just stopped quick to get birthday balloons and cards. Clerk was so helpful, and added more helium to my balloons too.

Its ok you get what you pay for not a bad place but it feels very cramped and claustrophobic the staff is friendly but its also out of the way its hidden up by price chopper if your around there stop and give it a look you never know you might find a deal

Dollar general is a good place to shop for the price. They don't have everything but does have a good amount for the size of the store and have some really good deals.
