Great store!! I have a pet rabbit and it’s very hard to find good/safe, rabbit friendly brands in pet stores, let alone any variety of rabbit friendly items. Pet Warehouse is FULLY stocked with all the best for pet bunnies and small mammals. Their prices are great too.They even have a self-serve dog washing station which is really cool! Love this store.

For me it wasn’t the workers. For me it’s the prices are insanely high. We came for the dog washing station and it’s $20. They dont offer soap, brushes a place to hook your dog onto…not even a towel to dry off the dog. You are better off going to Tractor supply in Medford. They give you the works. You get everything you need for $10. Definitely not doing that again. Too expensive and too much of a hassles

Prices are very good. They have a lot of things other stores don't have. Staff is very friendly.... and again the Prices are really good! Especially for pet beds!! Very fairly priced

I planned on going here today to stock up on puppy supplies. As I'm reading these reviews that seem legitimate, the owners responses have me in disbelief. Instead of responsding to every negative review, why not fix the issues that are clearly a concern to customers.

I have to say, I was a little surprised when I saw a Pets Warehouse in Shirley, After shopping in the Patchogue location it was nice to see one close to home. As always the place is super clean and well stocked. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about products. They have a section where you can bathe your dog, That is great. I always hurt my back doing it at home so being able to do it while standing was amazing. Totally worth the money. Considering the Shirley location opened during the Covid pandemic just shows how dedicated they are to be able to provide service for us Pet Owners. If you see a Review about a some bimbo about masks and management not wearing one disregard, she is just a Karen trying to get something out of it. I have been shopping here since the location opened and NOT ONCE did a staff member not have a mask on. And as far as I can tell they are enforcing the rule of having one.Edit: Just learned they accept Apple pay that makes it even easier.

Really great service, everyone there was very pleasant and the store was organized very well. My one complaint would be this taller girl worker who noticeably had poor hygiene while helping me.

I don't like to give negative feedback or speak bad on any business however this time I have to. Took our Boxer there, paid to clean him up. A few other people were there waiting and doing the same. Four different employees came up to us and kept asking if we had paid. My father clearly said yes each single time, we felt harassed. They didn't ask anyone else but us. Very uncomfortable situation. From the moment he started to clean him up until we walked out that door. Not a professional or friendly staff.

Used to work for Pets Warehouse a couple years agoand I still support them by purchasing their products at their Selden and Shirley locations. You can’t beat these prices and you also can’t beat how hard the employees work to serve all their customers. Love this place (:

I went there to get accessories and other necessities for my dog and I had a great experience. All of the staff and employees were very helpful and nice. Tristan was the employee who helped me the most she had such a great attitude about working there and helped me the entire time. I’ll always shop there from now on. Great prices and great employees.

Update: the owners response below is even worse! You'd have no record of this occurring because I was told there was no manager & you have two teenaged kids running the store. Hard to be aware of anything if you aren't present. I also emailed the Google address to no avail on your website & contacted another store in selden..a manufacturers coupon for product directly from the manufacturer isn't just a freebie- it directly helps support the rescues like myself in your community. I will never support any business with such a terrible response to a very real issue. That "other" store you are referring to has been accommodating me all along without issue... I'll be sure to share this amongst my fellow rescue friends in shirley... I promise my word of mouth is effective in the pet parent community especially when a kind response could have changed a lot.I get manufacturers coupons every month directly from Purina as I feed several dozen cats in the area at feral colonies. I decided to try here today instead of my usual place for bulk cat food (I have used this place for my personal cat food & frozen reptile supplies since this location opened so I've used this same store many, many times) & I asked the young man at the counter if they accepted manufacturers coupons. He said he was not sure, he'd have to ask the other guy as he was new. Okay, he was helping a customer, so I walked to the cat food where i happened to find the person he was referring to in the cat food isle. I asked him, hey, do you accept manufacturer coupons? Yes, we do. Okay great. Do you have more than 1 of these? No we don't. Okay no problem, thanks! They only had 1 of the items I needed so I went back up with it to the first kid & told him he had said yes about the coupon. Rung it up, couldn't figure it out, got the other guy I talked to. Comes up & says oh sorry **you have to buy an item of equal or greater value**. Wait, what? That's not how manufacturer coupons work at all & I'm going to contact the manufacturer directly & let them know that this chain that represents their products is refusing fair use of their own coupons. I would understand if the coupon required buy one get one. But free is free, not free with purchase. Purina directly reimburses the vendor OVER shelf price (coupon value exceeds shelf price by $6.00) & the vendor loses no money at all by honoring these coupons. I will NEVER shop here again, I spent hundreds a month here on frozen rodents, my own personal cat food & all kinds of other assorted stuff for rescue. I'm disgusted by the lack of transparency- not once was I informed after the 3 times I asked about the coupon acceptance of this odd policy. I lugged heavy cat food for no reason & quite frankly, if you wanted to retain long term customers, you'd have a much fairer business practice of honoring the exact thing a manufacturer coupon states.

I just came back from pet warehouse were i gave my dog a bath. My dog keep jumping when the hose went over her, but i just thought she wanted out. When i grapped the hose to stop it from touching her i almost cut my hand. It felt like a ton of needles sticking out. So i hurried and finished so i could tell them about the hose. When i spoke to 3 workers there they already knew about it and said they have to replace the hoses. So they knew it and did nothing.. I almost cut my dog and myself and that is all they said. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANOTHER PET WAREHOUSE AGAIN.

This store would receive a much better grade from me on appearance and inventory if I did not have such a negative experience while attempting to shop there. I do not have habit to write bad reviews. I had received a FREE product coupon from the manufacturer to try PRIMAL RAW dog food which I was happy to see they kept in stock. I brought my PRIMAL selection and a bag of dog treats to the counter and was told "the store policy will accept coupons but ONLY IF I ALSO PURCHASE SOMETHING IN ADDITION GREATER THAN OR EQUAL IN VALUE TO THE COUPON AMOUNT". This is ludicrous and poor business practice in my opinion. I told the young lady, who I was told was the store manager, that she lost my business because it was poor policy. She shrugged her shoulders and stated "I'm sorry sir but that's our store policy". Needless to say, I left and by the way had absolutely no issues using my coupon at Shirley Feed. I'm happy and the dogs both love PRIMAL RAW. A WIN - WIN!
