Bought burger from there two days ago went to fry it it was brown. Bought burger a month ago took it out today 8/6 brown. Need to figure out what’s going on. Besides all the other big m’s give more of an option for the 5 for you guys always the same stuff …..work with someone who use to work at your store and was told the burger and other meats get put back in the process of being put back out. ..,regular customer and will not buy meat there every again

Being in a small town the prices are as expected. The facility had a calming atmosphere and the cashier was friendly and cheerful making it a pleasant experience.

I had a real issue seeing a deli employee standing in the window of the kitchen cramming food into her mouth then watching her get into her car to leave a few minutes after. Found it crudely unprofessional. Always buy lunch meat here, because they keep it fresh n stocked well as well as cheaper than Wal-Mart. But the store is old and in disrepair and could really use some help.

My family got sick from the produce. Stay away from it. Any time I buy meat from there it turns brown within a day. Half the freezers dont work and the store is really run down. Whoever owns it does some huge price gouging. All around poor quality. Do better.

Big M is a cute little shop, though the highlight for us is the deli. We often buy their dinner rolls in bulk for large events, we are always impressed with the quality and you can't beat the price! Some of their other items are on the pricier side but they run lots of sales!

Hated watching the Deli crew stick their fingers into foods and eating it. Not caring that people were watching and laughing the whole time. As well as another employee in deli blowing her nose and not washing her hand and removing her hat scratching her head as she walked around the food. I see from the reviews it’s a big problem and doesn’t get addressed cuz they are still doing it! Just gross and not good for business. We are in a pandemic step up your game owners!

Nice small town grocery, but you definitely have to be mindful of expiration dates, some items on their shelves are way past their dates. Items in the meat department are gray in color.

I have a few favorite items in produce that are best here. Overall quality of meat has gone down since I started shopping here years ago. Employees are friendly and groceries are carried to your car if you wish.

I like this store, but you always smell old frier grease when you shop here. Make sure you don't wear good clothes, as that is all you smell like the rest of the day. The do make a great sub, for cheap!Watch the produce, it can be questionable.Great deli and meat deals.

Hands down one of the best sub places and you wouldn't even know it and they are cheap you have to give them a try. They also have fried wings salads and other food as well.

Store is old and in need of an update. Most of the staff are lifers and unfriendly/unwelcoming. You can easily go broke buying a weeks worth of groceries on a months budget. I’ve seen multiple meats that have well passed their expiration still on the shelf for sale. They have an outside shed built for the cans/bottles machines. They always have an issue working when I’ve tried using them, then have to wait 10 minutes or more for help.

August 2021. This place is sliding. Our previous review from 2 years ago was 4 stars. Visited this place several times in the last 2 months to find PO or quality meat. Lat time was met with a malfunctioning meet cooler. It was a Sunday with a skeleton crew. Meat was a room temperature. Went to Aldi's without purchasing anything. We've started shopping in Norwich because of health concerns.

The items are marked a bit higher than Walmart but I bet they are a little bit more fresh as well. Great bakery selection. Tasty hot to go food from deli. Amazing toast chickens to go. Unique non alcholic beverages.

We were on a road trip and stopped in on our way through. Great small town grocery store! No idea what they were cooking but the store smelled awesome. Staff was quite friendly and helpful! Store was clean and had a good variety 👌 glad we choose to stop in here!!

Best grocery store butcher in the area. My Mother drives 45 minutes just to get meat here. Overall, it's a nice little grocery store I've always enjoyed shopping at Big M's & I worked at a Big M all throughout High School. Might not be a gleaming LEED certified building like the Price Chopper in Hamilton, but it is a local business with good prices and friendly, helpful staff. FYI- This Big M also sells gasoline.

Stopped in at 9:30am. The bottle return wasn't turned on yet, bought a loaf of Monk's raisin bread marked 2/$5 That rang up at $3.99. Went to the office to get the difference back and the person manning it was sitting at a computer with her back to customers oblivious to anyone needing help. Other than that it was an awesome trip to the store to return some bottles and pick up a paper and some raisin bread. Only took me twice as long as it should have.

Sherburne Big M does one outstanding job! Every department is Rock solid, but I do a good share of shopping in the deli for my job. Time after Time they are spot on. I will order two foot subs ($8.99) and all the trimmings to go with along with salads or anything else needed for the party. Love you guys.

Prices are steep. Good if you forgot something for dinner. Don't plan on stocking the house here. Meat is not the best quality. They do offer some decent sales.

When in here for the first time because the old Big M, where I'm from, used to have awesome Subs. This Big M did not fail me. 2 foot sub with plenty of meat and cheese for ten bucks. Best deal in town when feeding on a budget.

Not a bad store for on the go quick stuff. Very over priced so no way for regular shopping trips. Most cashiers are great, however one is not so nice at all.
