Dear Owner, please update your socials with your business hours. We took a ferry trip specifically to go the this brewery. We showed up during confirmed business hours only to find it closed.

Very cool vibe on a very cool island. Really small batch beer. Made with local ingredients like beach plums and raspberries. Worth a trip on a nice summer day.

I’m a huge fan of local craft breweries and passing by Shelter Island I thought it would be nice to stop by this establishment. But I regret to say this is not really a place worth visit, sorry. Tasting wasn’t available when I stopped by, the beer I did try was actually quite horrible (was it something wrong with it? maybe?!) and also the staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful. If looking for craft beer in the area I would skip this place and go to Greenport instead.

Under new ownership and the improvements are impressive! The IPAs are now fantastic, the setting is so comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating, and awesome to-go food right next door at Marias. Don’t miss this wonderful small craft brewery on your journey across Shelter Island and stop by for a pint or a local wine or cider.

Delicious beer, friendly bartenders, lots of outdoor seating and some indoor seating, and best of all, dog friendly! They even carry a “dog beer!”

I was just driving around that corner of the island trying to find my way back to the ferry, when I run into this brewery, the bartenders were super relaxed and helpful about what to order. I tasted the 114 IPA, it was just a great refreshing beer. Now that I know my way around I will make a stop at the brewery when I visit the island.

Cute little spot we stumbled upon. Ordered a fruity shandy and sat outside while we played bored games. The staff was kind and helpful. Worth a stop!

Really nice craft brewery. Super friendly staff, great beers. Made me and my family immediately comfortable. Lots of board games and shaded picnic tables to hang out outside. Really nice IPAs, great summer Pilsner. Definitely stop in with your family, just wish I had more time to hang out here!

Between the 4 beers my husband and I got we didn’t like any of them. We couldn't even finish the second round. Never have I left a place not able to finish the beer. My husband said his tasted like pure cinnamon water. Mine tasted like dirty water. Something was definitely off. The staff was super unfriendly and not helpful at all. Overpriced food. Why would anyone pay $10 for for 4 small slices of toast with thinly spread hummus? Ridiculous! I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. Definitely wouldn’t spend another $50+ here.

Quiet afternoon stopped in right before closing. My girlfriend and I both taster two beers and chose one of those two. They were fun to try as a craft beer but I probably wouldn’t get a six pack. Staff was friendly. We shared a quick couple of good stories as they were cleaning up. As another review said, if you’re on the island it’s worth stopping by... I agree.

Nice setting.. Food is ridiculous. $10 for this pizza. Was a piece of bread with some arugula and dried figs on it.

They had 6 beers on tap and I liked 5 of them. I have heard quite the opposite. It is a cool little place with a laid back vibe. During the nice weather months it is nice to sit outside and soak in the sun at there picnic tables. I will go back.

Definitely not open on a Tuesday (June 29), despite the hours on Google and the sign out front that says open Thursdays-Tuesdays. Asked the place next door, Maria’s, if they knew what the story was, and they said they had no ideas. On the plus side, Maria’s is awesome though - highly recommend that place!

Wonderful location and atmosphere, I wish I could say the same thing about the beer. Everything tasted was either very bland or WAY over the top with added spices/flavors. Hopefully they will get better with time.

It's only open during daylight hours. Beer is okay - it's got nothing on the Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Greenport. Pretzels are delicious. It's a good place to go if you are already on Shelter Island.

Place is very tiny with a strong smell inside. Guests and staff always pushing past you. They dont do flights this time of year, "too many glasses."
