The employees are amazing and there products are outstanding. Trust me they know what they doing. I've gotten so many fish from there and they were the happiest and healthiest fish you can get .... And there prices are affordable and reliable. So yea before shopping at other Aquatic stores id recommend stopping here first .

Has a pretty good selection of almost everything. Decent prices as well.I wasn't very excited about having to wait 10 minutes for the manager to leave the bathroom so that he could verify the authenticity of my $100 bill. The young man who was ringing me up apologized profusely and I could tell he knew this was an aggravating store policy for everyone involved.

Lots of fresh and saltwater fish. They offer some plants as well, better than most of the big box pet retailers.The aquatic life I purchased here have been doing very well. Would return.

The fish department here is incredible. Not only do they have a great selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish, the employees are very knowledgeable and ethical. I've watched them refuse to sell unsuitable fish to customers without the right setup and point them towards something more suitable. And as a betta lover, I'm ecstatic that they keep their bettas in proper tanks and not cups! They are also upfront about sick livestock (that they're aware of). While they do sometimes have dead or sick fish in their tanks, what LFS doesn't? When you're importing fish, diseases aren't out of the ordinary. And when you're managing so many fish, you can't catch everything.The employees truly love and care about fish and many own tanks themselves. Their strong morals and friendly service make them my favorite LFS in the area.

Really good selection of fish, but workers aren't even a LITTLE knowledgeable. I asked for a female platy and the worker didn't know how to tell, so he said he would guess. Er, no. There are also always a number of dead fish in the tanks. Hard to decide whether or not to go back... it's the best selection I've found in the area, but...

Called up to see if they had a replacement part for my return pump for my fish tank. No one in the fish department even heard of an impeller. Gotta have knowledgeable people working on a Sunday afternoon. Very dissatisfacted.

I do like the selection, and I use the aquaria isles frequently. That I've spoken to, only two aquaria employees were knowledgeable over the livestock. My biggest issue is simply their marketing.POST YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION!The Smithaven Mall is 10:30 to 9:30 on average with changes by the day of the week.I can find it's hours on their own site, google, yelp...Pets Warehouse? No.Holidays? Sunday hours? Who knows?

Pets Warehouse is my go to place. love bringing my sparky in so he can pick out a special present once a week. The manager there knows me by name, sparky loves her she is so sweet and usually rings me up.

They have a huge variety of pet supplies and different breeds of fish, but the fish are the problem. Walking past the various tanks I wasn't expecting to see at least one dead fish in every cage. One of them I counted 6 dead fish in total, two other ones were just barely alive, the other fish were swimming smoothly. I also noticed a few fish that were different than the others in the tank, I saw two with bent spines that were swimming strangely. The worse was when I found a tank that was shared by an equal amount of fish and frogs. Upon closer inspection I saw behind the tube that I believe filters the water, I saw two dead frogs stuck behind it, one was just barely alive and the other I saw was trashing around and kicking its legs to get out. So I went to tell someone and they told me with a shocked expression, "We got a fish guy for that." So I went and found the 'fish guy' and pointed out the frogs and said "They're just hanging out." It upset me so much seeing those frogs that I then left without second thought.

Nice to go to a pet store thats more personal & not a big chain. Always have what I need & have nice selection of aquarium fish. Personnal in the aquarium section are helpful & knowledgeable...

Prices are a little higher than Pets Supplies Plus and dog food selection not as large. I want to like this store because locations are convenient but they are not winning me over.

Great price better than online or Petco they have everything you need. Bird cat... dog. ....fish etc. Open good hrs to. Lots of parking

They have a huge selection and very good prices. They do not have all of the higher end foods but it looks like they are adding more and more products.
