Absolutely love coming to Jungle Bob’s. My husband & I come all the way from Brooklyn and it’s worth it! They are honestly the best reptile store and we’ve been to many over the past year yet nothing compares to Bob’s. All of the workers are kind and knowledgeable. We also purchased our bearded dragon Monkey from them in April and it was the best decision ever. All of there reptiles are super healthy & well taken care of. I highly recommend!

Awesome place for pet reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates!I purchased 6 blue death feigning beetles from Jungle Bob’s a few months ago and they’re still doing great, and today I got my first tarantula (Arizona blond/A. chalcodes) from there and I couldn’t be happier with the service! Adam is cool and was great to chat with while I was selecting which A. chalcodes I wanted. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who helped me bring my new pet’s tank out to the car, but he was great too and really all the people who work here are chill and know their stuff, but I have to shoutout Adam who has happened to help me out each time I’ve gotten live animals from them. Definitely check them out!

I don’t leave reviews too often but I wanted to just praise Jungle Bobs and how great they are. We bought our awesome axolotl from there and Adam the axolotl guru has been so helpful. He answers all my questions (a lot) and has always been very patient. They are very knowledgeable and really care about the animals. They are all great over there and I just wanted to say thank you for everything they do!

This is a difficult review to write as the staff at Jungle Bobs is very knowledgeable and the store has everything reptile related you can want. They have an excellent selection of animals, foods, supplies, habitats, etc... I do not mind driving the 60 minutes, each way, from my home to visit the store. I have bought several animals from them, habitats, foods, and many supplies. I have also boarded my animals with them over the past few years (crested geckos)Today was the last day I will be patronizing Jungle Bob's as their prices shot through the roof and the discount they used to provide me for boarding multiple animals at a time seems to have disappeared too. After leaving the store today I truly felt that I was ripped off or taken advantage of. This is something I never felt working with Jungle Bobs.This week I boarded four crested geckos for six days. These are very low maintenance animals and are not even fed every day. I could not believe what I heard when the person behind the counter said the cost of boarding was $360. They charged me $60 per day ($15 per gecko) for the full six days. When I explained that this was significantly higher than what I paid in the past, I was told "Our prices went up". I reluctantly paid the amount, as I did want my animals back, but I decided right then that I will not be coming back.As I will need boarding services again, I am now looking for other options for places to board my animals. Driving the hour each way to get food, mulch, calcium, or items for their habitat will now be replaced by the abundant number of online places that I can shop at.

My favorite reptile store on Long Island. They have everything you need to set up the perfect enclosure for your pet reptile. Owner is friendly, accommodating, and answered all of my questions without hesitation. He knows his stuff. Looking forward to returning.

I ordered 2 lygodactylus williamsi from here and they are so beautiful. Arrived healthy, packed safely.FedEx had a delayed flight which caused these guys to be in shipping for an extra day and it didn't affect them at all. Tyler was super supportive the whole time, trying to contact FedEx for updates as I was, and I know he was also busy in the store.Communication was quick and helpful. Definitely will order from here again. Very satisfied.

Just had to share how wonderful of an experience I had at Jungle Bob’s while adopting a beautiful leopard gecko. I have been to Jungle Bob’s in the past, when I had my beardie and they are just as great now as they were then! Answered all my questions, were so personable and really take the time to make sure those purchasing their reptiles are skilled in handling them and taking care of them. I am so impressed with Jungle Bob's! The day I ordered my ball python I sent emails that they responded to almost immediately, then I ordered her on a Sunday and she was here by Tuesday. She's alive and seems very healthy and I'm just so happy with my experience! They were so wonderful to work with and I just can't say enough good things! Wish I was local to jungle bobs bc I'd be doing all of my pet shopping there! Great job Jungle bobs and again THANK YOU for everything!

We buy our spiders from them. So far 4, an Arizona Blonde, a Gooty Metallic Saphire, a Pink Toe and a Dominican Purple. They are doing very well. We also get our pets food and supplies from them. The food, crickets for our spiders and frozen rats and mice for our pythons, are really fresh and affordable. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a great place for serious pet owners.

As another customer has said, I can say the long drive was MORE than worth it. I came in wanting a western hognose, and Dylan assisted me every step of the way. He answered every question I had with ease, and was so so sweet. I held a few different snakes, and finally picked a beautiful albino western hognose.I couldn’t be happier with my new addition (first snake by the way). Thank you again to everyone at Jungle Bob’s!

Their axolotls swim in poop filled water and have obvious signs of skin problems from the ammonia in the water. Geckos are all scrawny, water bowls dirty. Most tanks are very dirty. It's sad to see the animals not cared for. The worst was a green tree python full of mites I saw a while back. Sure buy your crickets here, but not your pets. Go see for yourself, and don't believe the owners inevitable balogna response. Only amatuers buy their pets here. Real hobbyists go to breeders.

We drove 30 minutes to Jungle Bob's, and it was absolutely worth the drive. They have a huge selection of both animals and supplies and are immensely knowledgeable. Dylan spent over an hour with us, had unending patience, let my daughter hold what felt like EVERYTHING, before introducing her to a beautiful little pink corn snake and getting us set up with everything we need to take care of her. Thank you again to Dylan for your patience and kindness, and for letting a little girl hold at least half a dozen delicate young reptiles without any hesitation. You made my little girl very, very happy.

Jungle Bob’s Reptile World has far surpassed the expectations I have for any store. Tyler, Matt, and the rest of the crew are so informative, helpful and friendly. The animals in the shop are well cared for, healthy, and the store is super clean.After a lifetime of owning dogs, cats, birds, and fish tanks we have welcomed a lizard into our home. The staff at Jungle Bob’s has walked us through the process and are responsible for our success with our baby bearded dragon. They respond immediately to emails and calls, and never tired of the endless questions I have about the care of our dragon.Recently we boarded our bearded dragon at Jungle Bobs while we went away on vacation, and we were so happy to know that he was being cared for by experts.Whether it’s for information, mail order bugs, or supplies for your reptile I highly recommend Jungle Bobs for all of your reptile needs.And, as other reviewer‘s have mentioned, it is totally worth the drive. We drive over an hour to get our supplies at Jungle Bobs and never feel like it wasn’t worth the trip.

The most amazing repetible store you can imagine! We drive from Brooklyn here to get a bearded dragon and all the needed the supplies for him. The stuff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Also, the variety of reptiles they have is astonishing - my 7yo was in awe

Spectacular!!They have such a wide range of reptiles, I came here to purchase a jumping spider, (which btw, this was the only place on Long Island that had jumping spiders. I was calling multiple places for months and never found any luck. I was told, "It was a fad," too many times and I don't care if it's a fad!! They are magnificent spiders!) ANYWAY I came here for that and I spent a long time browsing through their critters and supplies. Tons of supplies, especially for building terrariums, that's always really helpful! Like mini plants, wood, rocks, glass containers, etc.Adding onto the great stock they have, the employees are so passionate and wonderful! I love experiencing workers that actually are interested in what they do and love to share that passion.Cody was awesome, he took out some reptiles to show my parents and I and he showed us their friendly snake that he takes to the library with him.A GREAT place that I will definitely be revisiting, regardless that it's 30 minutes away! Don't know what Walter O'Donnell is saying this place is clean animals are always well taken care of and they know there stuff and are always helpful been coming here for awhile now gotten snakes beardies and alot others there's a reason they are voted best on long island it's because they are and they are all so into their job jungle bob never change because you guys kill it also no one there gives off a douchy vibe
