Large, clean, fairly well stocked supermarket. Aisles are wide and pretty spotless. They have a robot patrolling the aisles, cleaning as it goes. I guess it gets no time off. Shelves are pretty neat and fairly full. Meat department, fish counter, deli counter. Bathrooms available. Cashiers are pleasant, with self-checkout available. Huge parking lot.

DISRESPECTFUL CART GUY! The plastic bottle machine was full. I asked someone to come out and empty it please. The car guy comes out, saying he can't find bags and I said could you look inside? Before he even walks all the way over, he says the machines are fine and I tapped the plastic machine saying this one is not. He opens the door saying it's not full and he says no need to be rude. I replied, what was that? He slams the door and says you heard me, and just walk inside. I spoke to the manager. She comes out with me. Starts speaking to the cart guy. And to my shock, he says he hates me, and then threatens to physically assault Me, Right In Front Of The Manager!!! She stopped him immediately and said this is not the way you talk to a customer or anybody and you don't be rude to them even if you're accusing them of being rude, which I sincerely was not. After I finished my bottles and went inside with the tickets. I caught the cart guy taking photos of me with his phone. Frankly, at this point, I don't feel safe to ever go back to this store ever again. This unstable employee needs to be terminated from the company effective immediately!

It's quite a great store not perfect but offers just enough to keep me going back. The employee atmosphere is 50% to 75% interaction wise. I think I'll keep going back to this Stop 🛑 And Shop it offers convenience 🏪 above standards. The self checkout way is ok just they need better more faster machines 🤖

This store is a nightmare. The people that work there arwe miserable, esp. the long haired kid in the deli. Incompetent and lazy... The people in the meat dept are clueless. Had a basic question regarding the circular, no one had an answer. With the exception of the manager, Chris, the store should restart. The self scanners always not working properly and not ringing up correctly. The store had no bags today, disposable or to purchase. Save yourself the aggravation and go to the Amityville store. Much cleaner and more accomodating.

Terrible and rude general manager here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any shopper and actually feel bad for any workers that would have to deal with a manger like that. Very rude.. not comfortable ever shopping here again

I hate to say it, but this bad store actually got worse. New management and staff don't care about quality or service to the customer. Produce is often bad, items expired and the deli takes more the 45 minutes to fill the 1st order of the day that was two items and at 8:30 am.All of these issues has been brought up to management who will just brush you and the issue off.There are cleaner, better stocked and more competent people working in other stores in the area. I suggest you shop elsewhere.

It's time to close this location down. Beyond the skyrocketing prices, the produce being offered in shameful. Do yourself a favor and drive the few blocks east to Uncle G's. See attached pics of what they had on the shelves today. Disgusting.

I’ve been shopping here for years, and I think this is the best grocery store around. Great selection of everything, nice staff, and the generic foods are really good at a low price.

Most horrible food shopping experience I've had in my life. The entire store is run by kids. That don't have a clue. Shelves are ALWAYS empty. Staff is useless. Complaints go nowhere. Now, to top it all off, there's about 10 - 15 children (age 12-14?) that are in the store DAILY now... terrorizing everyone in and out of store, yelling, running - scaring older shoppers. I'm done.

Good local neighborhood supermarket. The shelves are pretty well stocked. Customer service is very friendly they have the best cashiers. And it's stop and shop they have everything you need. There is plenty parking. They have a deli fish market and an excellent selection of produce.

I was only in this area because I was visiting a friend but I try to shop at the same store as I normally shop at when I am home, the place was not that big however they had everything that I needed, and although the parking lot was dark it was an overall a decent visit.

Most of the time I have to look for a shopping basket because there’s none at the entrance. So I asked the workers and customer service a couple times and they all tell me to look by the cashiers. A few times I had to walk up and down the cashiers to find one and once there wasn’t any at all. So they told me they all in use and store wasn’t even that busy. It’s your job to have shopping baskets ready for customers it’s not my job as a costumer to find one! Also maybe purchase some more baskets for your store!

Always a delight shopping here. The shortages on liquid egg whites has been bad and prices very high. I got lucky, and picked up a bunch at a reasonable price. Overall they have pretty much everything you may need.

This Stop & Shop is very clean, the staff is friendly, and their produce is always fresh. I consistently find good deals at Stop & Shop, but I rarely find fruits and vegetables as fresh as the ones that I find at this location. Their bottle recycling area could use a little remodeling, maybe by adding an awning for when it rains, but that doesn't affect my high opinion of this location.

They have definitely made some major improvements, in both areas. One would be with the employees, they are helpful and pleasant the vast majority of the times. The store is clean, and well stocked. Great 👍 job Stop & Shop management, to a job well done.

Perhaps this store is the exception to the Norm! I've been to other Stop & Shop stores that were run and managed much better than the shop on Merrick Road in Massapequa NY. My wife went to this shop to get some deli that she really needed to get for lunch for the days that followed. It was about 5:30pm on Sunday 6/16 and this trip should have taken no more than 30 minutes. Instead, it took over an hour. Two deli clerks were working and two people were on the deli line wherein the first person was already being helped. My wife's arrival made her the third customer on line which should not have been a problem with two deli clerks behind the counter. The problem was that one deli clerk started to clean up leaving only one deli clerk actually working to help the three customers. This combined with the fact the only clerk helping customers either could not hear or understand what the first customer on line wanted. Taking care of the first customer, who only needed a few items took an unusually long time. What also became obvious was the fact that the deli clerk who was helping a customer must have been asking the clerk who was cleaning up to help her with the customer line. No manager was in site or was called to help or manage the situation. In the end it took my wife close to an hour to buy the three deli items she needed. This first visit to this store was further made worse by the fact that only two cash registers were open to help customers at final check out. In short, whatever happened to taking care of customers first from a service point of view?

The produce is always fresh. The staff is so friendly and helpful. But the best part is David in the deli department. He makes the juiciest rotisserie chicken. His dedication to making sure every guest is happy, each and every day is impressive. He genuinely cares about his customers and makes them feel special. I know I do. This is the perfect neighborhood grocery store. Thanks for helping me feed my family David! You have made a customer for life!

The bakery here is superior to all other Stop & Shops on Long Island. You-scan is always available. I had the first good deli experience...really, ever. There was no avoiding the customer and the slices were perfect. Unfortunately they have that nuisance robot. But I just punch him in the gut and tell him to get out of my way. It usually works.Update;Ugh with that friggin robot. Everything else is still good, though.

The store is fine. It's clean and well stocked. The prices are reasonable. The reason for the fair rating is the meat selection is lacking and slightly overpriced. Also the fish from there is probably worse then you would hope. At the end of the day, it's better than the pathmark that used to be there.

Lovely atmosphere for the most part. Cashiers are friendly but some are outright weird, the staff is there to help and all. Just don't expect total red carpet here with workers. If customers didn't matter then they would not have a name stop n shop. It would just have a sign with a strange logo but that would be too sci-fi right? Right?

Worst supermarket ever. From their produce quality and availability to pancake mix options. On top of that, you clip their digital coupons and they never come off the bill at checkout, your told to go to customer service. It’s pretty much false advertising. Why can’t Seaford get a decent supermarket?

It's got everything you need as a supermarket should. but something about this place just always keeps it from being a great experience. The staff is very much blah about everything. And while I understand their situation recently and the stress and the working hours they've probably put in over the last few months, it has always been like that, it is not something just pandemic related.

The cashier Rob on lane 7 probably needs another position because he had the absolute worst bag packing skills I have ever seen. He was throwing my food around while bagging it with no regard. It was flat disrespectful. I hope someone does that to his food while he is on line waiting so he knows how it feels. Prior to that, he packed the bag so poorly that a bottle of seltzer fell off the the belt and burst causing a clean up. After a manager saw how awful he was he got put on a much needed break. When I got home I noticed that he punctured the plastic on my pack of salmon. He had dirt under his fingernails which really made it even more of a horrible experience. Needless to say I will not be back to that store. 1:43 PM TODAY store #2588.

Solid supermarket. Great variety of items, pricing is decent. There's a nice produce section, and the store is well lit. I consider this Stop and Shop "my" supermarket, it's the one I always shop at.

Store is clean, staff are helpful, Redemption machines are almost always working properly. Staff is always quick to correct a problem if it occurs with the machines. Deli department he is always helpful and well-stocked
