Unprofessional and quite immature management. Their replies to some of the negative reviews customers have left exemplifies it. Very defensive and unapologetic about any issues encountered by customers. Rather, they imply that the customer is at fault, or being unreasonable with their assessment of the service and food quality. Give your money to business owners who deserve your money. In this economy, you can find a million places to eat who will treat you very well and be extremely grateful for your business. The food here simply is not worth it, and the owners really do not seem to care.

Tonight I enjoyed the chicken club and a Sam Adams Summer Ale. We sat in the outside deck area. The tables as well as the deck area was very clean. The waitresses were professional and polite. The acoustic music by Kevin Powers was a great addition. I hope I got the name right. Very happy with my experience

Late September we Drove 25 mins to get there from south glens falls. Cool night outside. Inside was busy. There were a few mistakes made. But over looked them. Dinner was tasty. I would go again in the summer months. Outside seating next time ⏲️ 🤪

The food is fantastic and service is top notch. Being able to dine outdoors when the weather permits is great. I've never had a bad experience at Clark's Steakhouse and have been frequenting this fine establishment for the past 4 years. I highly recommend trying it.

Great food, service and ambiance. We had steaks and they were cooked perfectly with sides that were equally delicious. The interior is bright, modern, comfortable and fun. In better weather the outside deck looks like a great place to have drinks and a meal.

The special shrimp and steak was an extensive amount more $ than the steak dinner on the menu for the same amount of Ounces. Was supposed to be 5 baby shrimp but waitress advised they ran out so they gave 2 jumbo shrimp instead as she served it. It was just about $20 more for shrimp was very expensive. To me it wasn't a special, overall the food was pretty good but very salty. Waitress was very friendly.

I loved The Basin Grill. It was a new discovery for my family and I. I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon and it was amazing. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great restaurant. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. They also have live music which isn't obnoxiously loud. This place gets a gold star review from me.

Have been twice so far and will return! First visit we sat at the bar and had awesome mudslides. Bartender and staff incredibly friendly. The food other patrons had looked so good, we had to go back again for dinner. Went this past Sunday with friends. All 4 of us got different meals and everyone was pleased. My pot roast dinner was amazing. Again our server was so very nice. I highly recommend The Basin.

Grabbed dinner here after a day of kayaking on the Hudson. Awesome food, good service and beautiful views. Live an hour away but would definitely come here again for summer dining

Went for Mother’s Day lunch, waited 20 minutes for waters and ice teas. There were black specks floating in the water pitchers (in 3 out of the 4 we received after informing them). Our food was cold and half of it wasn’t correct based off what it said on the menu. Have gone before and the food was great but will be finding somewhere else that has a nice view. Wait staff were trying their best but they all appeared new as they didn’t even know the menu.The restaurants comment does not take accountability for the dirty water or what happened to us.

1st time visit. Hostess seated us immediately and asked if the booth was okay, which it was. In just a few moments Regina approached and introduced herself as our server. Very congenial and with a good sense of humor, she told us about the specials and then gave us time to decide before returning to take our orders. Our salads (good) and bread (mediocre) appeared quickly and it wasn't long before our steaks arrived. I worried since they weren't as thick as I prefer, but they were cooked to perfection with a nice bit of charring. We also ordered a bottle of wine off the printed list, not expensive, a decent value. Ambiance is "so so", and if you like brussel sprouts, avoid the ones here, they are mushy and tasteless. Overall it was a good dining experience.

Okay how do I say this without being a food critic… sorry I can’t! I ordered a medium well burger and mozzarella sticks and sweet potato fries. 1st the burger taste as though it was cooked on top of a steak. 2nd the mozzarella sticks were definitely stale/ old, because the cheese was hard like a rock. Thank goodness the sweet potato fries taste good (with some jelly on the side). I can’t forget our drinks: the liquor taste Old or aged.. the only drink that has any quality Old or Aged is wine! C’mon seriously old liquor… seriously! 🤮 😱😳 To top it off I paid $70 dollars for all of this! If you are from out of town find a better option 30 mins away!

Came out to check this out again on a Monday.Great relaxing atmosphere place by the water.Second time here and ate the same thing, blackened Mahi tacos. They weren’t bad, tasty. I felt other things were a bit pricy but what isn’t these days. Limited stuff in menu.Drink prices are average.I guess they change their menu at some point. I’ll definitely be back, if just for a drink at the bar. I need to lookup music times.Service was quick and nice people.

Terrible wait service, she disappeared all night till I tracked her down to pay the bill. Our food (salmon and ziti) meals were far below minimal pub food. Ear shattering guitar player made the evening worse yet. This place is a nightmare. I cannot say one good thing other than the location on the Hudson which is delightful. Wine tasted watered down. I would not even give them a second try. Just awful.

On a Thursday night...They were out of several menu items they dident even have iced tea... ok it happens..we waited more then an hour for our food to come out watching the restaurant empty not busy enough to justify the wait.. then the food did come out and it was lackluster.. the mashed potatoes were dry and spongy, and i honestly had a better burger at McDonald'sThe bar tender had trouble making simple drinks. The staff seemed stressedThe only reason i put 2 stars is because the location is pretty, overlooking the Hudson but bring your bugspray.. i think i lost more weight in blood then i ate in food....Over all disappointing

The lady as soon as we walked in complained that we were there 3 minutes early and finally sat us down. We did not like the place she seated us because it was not even close to the water at all so we asked if we could move and she immediately rolled her eyes at us and said “ Sure I guess” while rolling her eyes. Then she ran over to her friend to punt and laugh at us so we took our business elsewhere I would not recommend it here they have a horrible menu and super rude staff

This had good food, quick service and atmosphere. It is right on the river by the marina. We sat outside and soaked up some sun. I had a cowboy burger and my boyfriend had streamed clams. We will definitely be going back.

The waitress took half an hour to serve two Bloody Marys. They were not even homemade. Inform the customer next time. Our Calamari was poor. It came out white; although, it was deep fried. The waitress claimed the chef dropped it in the deep fryer again. It was white b/c he just changed the oil. Lol. It was just poor quality. And we were punished with 10 tentacles in our basket. Poor service too.
