I would like to take the time to thank coach Brandon. He is the manger of the altamont ave Walmart. He went above and beyond when I had an issue with my key for my car. He was professional and courteous. Very happy with my experience. I also want to thank Kyle for being great and of course the gentleman from the auto center that fixed my key.. thank you

Absolutely horrendous experience every time I’ve been here. I am not the kind of person to write a review like this but truly I’m appalled. Are you paying them to just sit there on their phones? I was looking for a specific item but my phone was not connecting to the wifi so I thought to ask one of the staff if they could look it up. She was extremely blunt and unkind and just pointed to the general area, but I informed her I already glanced around and I was looking for more specific locations. She just repeated herself and went back to looking at her phone. I went to look for someone else to help me find what I was looking for (it’s nearly impossible to find people) and he basically did the same thing. Slightly more of a friendly atmosphere but otherwise unhelpful. I was asking for help, not to just be pointed in a direction. I have worked in retail before and have always gone above and beyond to help customers find what they are looking for. I am extremely upset with this experience, as I have been to other Walmarts and have had great experiences with employees who actually try and help. I don’t know what qualities you guys look for in your employees but I am beyond upset. Do better 👍

I should have believed all of the other poor reviews but wanted to see for myself. Store itself was disorganized, cashier was busy facetiming and acted like I was bothering her.

If I could give this store a zero I would. My mother worked at this store for years. Actually it was the last job she had before she retired. It was horrible. I was followed by a guy that kept asking me for money for a pillow that he had in his hand and I finally said to him I'm not giving you any money. Go call your mother. He said my mother's in the city and she won't answer the phone and I said well you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm not giving you any money nor am I buying that pillow. I advise you to go back and get a cheaper one. He began to try to say something obnoxious and I stopped him right there and told him you don't want to bark up this tree. Keep it moving and that was the end of that. Did not see him again throughout the store. Also saw other men walking around in the women's section with nothing in their cart and then they would just pick something off the shelves and throw it in there. They weren't shopping. They were just basically either looking for something else besides women's clothing. I really think you guys ought to beef up that security over there. I've lived in Rotterdam for 40 years and I'll never come back again. I'll drive all the way over to Washington avenue extension before I shop in that store again until you clean it up. You really have let it go down the hill. Have a little pride in your store. I told the girls in the ladies room about it. No one did anything. No one even bothered to call the front end. Who knows what this guy was out for or what he was looking for. This is a situation for disaster. Get that store security

I used a welder shield level(13) to view eclipse and wanted to get new batteries for "next time" and called all over was hung up on twice and finally I called Walmart in Rotterdam NYWell a very nice woman actually went up front to the battery section and could not find the car 1025 batteries she then suggested electronics and a second very nice woman suggested she could probably find them in jewelry.ABD SHE DID!!! Walking to the jewelry counter told me they had an entire box and the price!!!!I went that night to buy them and made sure ai spoke to the store manager so these to women could be recognized in their employment records.

needed to purchase 2 really big 'peeps' & this was the only local walmart with inventory. store is very large. an associate took me to the 'peeps' location. i picked up 2. check out was quick & easy. great experience !

Every time I pull up to do a curbside pickup it’s always a 30 minute plus wait well after the pickup time. And don’t get me started on how lazy the mechanic staff are! Throw the whole store away nothing but lazy bums collecting a few dollars..

The workers hardly know anything, the old guys at check out need new jobs, why you holding us up while u check items when there was already someone watching us scan lol either way if someone steal you can't run after them, I walk out cause no way ima stand there for you to check a receipt for that long. Text message receipt was late I told the girl to look it up from the register I used she's like she don't know, if you don't know I'm not staying when you watched it scanned and paid for too.

Ohhh ghetto Walmart. Where do I begin. We love this place. You might see a fist fight or someone getting dragged behind one of those scooters. Great place for people watching. The store itself doesn't have a hot foods section and milk products are slim in the coolers. Theres plenty of parking, the staff has always been awesome and friendly, and the rest of the store is stocked great. My son loves the toy isles and camping/hunting section. The men's, women's, and children's sections always have a ton of stuff . The office supplies/ kraft section is great and the home goods area never disappoints. All in all a great store, we got there several times a week for what we need. Would have given 5 stars but the shopping carts have wheelie stoppers on the one wheel....me and my kid can drift the cart but no wheelies....super let down....so that cost them a star. Check that mofo out for some live entertainment and things you need!

I will be hard pressed to ever order from here again, I'm tempted to not even shop here again.I put in a order on their app, it got delayed, an hour after the original pick up time I had to go in because I forgot to order stuff I needed for dinner. So I ask the CS desk about the order and they say 15 more minutes. Okay cool, i go do my shop, but I had to ask 3 employees where the dish soap was and they all told me a different isle... So it took just over an hour to get my other shopping done. I go and ask again, hey is my order ready. Yeah just 20 more minutes... 40 minutes later, hey what's going on? Oh sorry only 20 more minutes. An hour after that and talking to multiple people I finally got my order.Heres the thing, I'm not even mad that the order was delayed, I'm pissed that I was jerked around and kept being told over and over that it would only be a few minutes. If it's going to take you hours to finish, just say that! Cause then I would have just picked it up in the morning and not waited around for almost 3 hours!But this is Walmart, so what can you expect I guess.

The people that work there is so useless to customers.they push their carts they are using right into you.wanting the customers to move or get hit.you ask them a question and they don't know where it is or say we don't carry it. Where is the customer service at? If it wasn't for customers shopping shopping you would not have a Job

The cashier WOULD NOT bag my groceries for me. She got mad at me for taking so long and she even took the customer behind me while waiting for me. I am blind, and I have trouble doing this, if I wanted to bag for myself, I would go to self checkout, which I can’t see. Walmart customer service has really gone downhill, and I will spread thr word to NOT go back to thr Glenville Walmart!

Never enough staff at the pharmacy. The only place to sit is as far away from the line as it could be. My husband has altzheimers and needs to sit, but not that far from me in line.

It's walmart. Their prices aren't as good as they once were. I'm not talking about inflation, but in comparison to other retailers. It seems they're trying to upgrade their image they've revamped the store to make it look nicer, but in the long run, it's you and I paying for it.OK, so while our kids me not shopping local, there are times when you can't, like when you need a tire for your car because you have an appointment to get to and your mechanic needs to order one that'll take a few days to a week to arrive. Walmart auto is the place to go. The staff is great and the prices are reasonable.Since if they're did prices are good, but honestly, if you shop sales at hannaford, or check out aldis, you can find better prices. Be sure to check expiration dates as stock rotation is lacking. You do get better quality elsewhere, but you can't beat the convenience of getting everything in one place.Vison center is excellent as well and even the DD has a very pleasant and bubbly staff.

The Customer service is great at the pharmacy kelly definitely is awesome. Very helpful and the pharmacists also are so so helpful and understanding as well... We're extremely happy to have found such a great group of people.

We all know Walmart the store where they lock up certain items like Rustolium spray paint,condoms, and you need to wait for an employee to be paged who has the key to open it, yet beer isnt locked up

Needs to be cleaned up. Place looks like trash. I've been here for many years and the only attempt at "improving" the place was by adding more anti-theft devices. That aside, the staff have always been nice and hard working. Rarely do I ever have a bad experience with them.
