Spring, April 2023, and it's cold plant season. Was able to get a few things I didn't start myself and walked away happy today.Hewitt's has been fantastic in the 15th year I've been here. Everything from floral and vegetables, plus grilling propane tanks, to Christmas decorations. Customer service is wonderful. Only once, I returned a shrub that failed and they graciously did an exchange. Friendly advice on all questions.I also landscaped our property with evergreens that now need professional trimmings. They have been that successful. Highly recommend!

Greg was very helpful with helping me pick out the shrubs to help hold the dirt back on my sloping hill. He didn't have the amount I needed so he got them from the other stores.20 in total. And at a good price

Really nice staff! Helpful too! Beautiful selection of flowers and very reasonably priced. Facility is in great shape and has convenient carts & trays to put your purchases. I enjoy going there to see all they have!

We get our Christmas tree here most years. We also get gardening supplies and gifts for garden lovers. Hewitt's had also made donations for community events! Love having them nearby.

This is my go to place for all landscaping needs! I’m here pretty much every weekend getting stuff for my yard. Tons of variety to choose from and fair prices! Some of their shrubs have lifetime replacement if they happened to die. The Manager also understands the importance of great customer service!

This place is really great for gardening! It has everything from seeds to full plants and everything you could ever need to start and/or keep a beautiful yard or garden. There isn't a huge staff but they make up for it with their genuine kindness! I bring my Mother here every year and she simply loves it, (as do I). 🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷🌱🌲🌳

I've been going here ever since I was a kid, tagging along with my mom since the 90s. Well, they're still going strong! Always a great selection of plants and flowers when it's warm, and plenty of Christmas trees in winter.The inside shop has all the garden stuff you could ever want or need, and has an attached greenhouse. During winter it becomes Christmas central with decorations far as the eye can see.Staff are always super nice and professional

I ordered a large number of poinsettias for Christmas and the owner and other employees were so helpful. They made a special order for us and helped us load up my van two times. The store was a winter wonderland at Christmas. Highy recommend their service!

What a difference a year makes. It appears service and gratitude for my business there has taken a serious fall. One reason I return to Hewitt's through the course of the year is because I felt welcomed and my dollars spent there were appreciated. My trip there Saturday felt everything but appreciated. The cashier who processed me, I believe her name was Blobbie, was as impersonal as the store fixtures. After verifying myself as a Veteran, for the discount, and paying for $72 of merchandise there was not one thank you for your business, thank you for your service, or even a simple "have a nice day, or Merry Christmas ".My plan forward is to drive a bit further to the Hewitt's in Guilderland, where I DO feel appreciated.

My mom has always enjoyed the water plants she gets here, as well as I have enjoyed my house plants from here. They did grossly over water the cactus' I got, but that's probably due to the younger staff. Besides that, the staff was nice and helpful and I loved their selection of cactuses, hope they have more house plants sometime.

I have always been pleased with their customer service, knowledge of the products and ability to replace items when necessary. I always listen to Peter Bowden's planting tips when planting something for the first time & I'm always successful! Thanks Hewitt's for all you do for our community!

Well we did find the plants we were looking for and we did have a nice selection, the young boys didn't have much knowledge in where things where or what things were.Nonetheless we did our shopping and proceeded to the checkout. There were some nice spinners for 60 to $100 and we were going to get one however when we went to cash out they only allow military discount on Wednesdays.My husband served 20 years in the army going to Desert Storm Etc to fight for our country to fight for everybody & risking his life every day of the week not just on Wednesdays. We did not get the Spinners or anything other than what we had to get and there's enough places that give military discount everyday of the week. Nobody asked my husband to just serve one day of the week so I don't understand why places only give a military discount one day of the week 10% or 5% is not a big deal for what these men and women did for our country

Update: hewitts went above and beyond to rectify the issue with our tree. Very commendable company that stands behind ensuring the quality of their products.We went last weekend spent $56.99 on the WORST tree I've ever had!! its hard to tell what any of the trees look like because all of the branches are up. we brought it home let it sit for 48 hours like the guy there told us to, it has a bunch of large bald spots AND its pretty much already dead. Branches are falling off and I'm picking up AT LEAST one FULL dust pan of needles a day. absolutely horrible. ive bought better fuller looking trees at Ace for half the price!! very disgusted will never shop here again!

My husband loves their products and service. I'm not happy about the fish pond that looks dirtier than the Mohawk river. Their was one poor fish in it.☹
