Huge shoutout to Madison! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟I came in a couple of days ago to buy a bearded dragon, but was lost on what supplies i needed for the enclosure for it to have its best life. (There is a lot of conflicting information online).I let madison know that i just wanted to give the best life i could to this beardy but i needed help with reccomendations.She was diligent in asking me questions about safety, feeding, and vitamin care. She even spent time gathering items around the store for me so that nothing would be overlooked.I have never been to a pet store that offered this level of help and expertise, and i was really impressed by the knowledge she shared with me.I have named the bearded dragon mushu and although i am still uncertain of the gender, i can now say confidently that i have everything i need to give this fella the best life possible. Thank you Madison and team!

These guys are really great. Customer service is always wonderful between both locations and the employees are all really knowledgeable. They are the only place around that always has live feeders for my snake. The 2 locations seem to be about 2-3 weeks off for the age of the feeders as well so if one doesn’t have the proper size, it’s a good bet the other will. Definitely worth the trip if you have exotic pets or reptiles. Even the horn worms by the register all looked healthy

I've never had any other than a great experience shopping at Everything Pets! I have been going there for nearly a year and have gotten familiar with the staff and have built a well established bond with the store. I go there for all my pet needs and I have about 15 exotic pets at home that need care in which the store provides.

We went in "looking" for ferrets, ending getting a pair. Dani help us with all of our needs and answered many questions for us. She a very informative worker and the BEST. If you go here definitely see Dani!! Thanks girly!!

Hands down best place in the Schenectady/Rotterdam area for exotic pet supplies. They always have fresh supplies and food for my pets. The staff is also super helpful especially Danny. If you have an exotic pet you should definitely come here for their food.

Love having a store like this nearby - they always have everything we need for our snake as well as dogs and cats. The staff has always been super helpful not just with questions we’ve had about products but also about snakes so that’s been incredible.

Dani is always nice and very helpful! We use Everything Pets for all of our reptile needs. They have various worms, isopods and other feeders to choose from along with live terrarium plants and habitat set ups.

I love coming here for food for my chameleon, cats, and dogs. It’s the only one stop place I’ve found in the area with good quality feeders. And I stumbled upon a hedgehog being silly today in the shop! I couldn’t upload the video but it was moving as the little one was getting cozy underneath!

I came in asking for a chameleon. They told me they didn't have any which was fine. I said OK maybe a bearded dragon. I asked the lady about how much the setup with the bearded dragon was. She did not want to engage with me. She was more concerned about as delivery that she was getting. And then after I found the bearded dragon that I want come to tell me that it's on hold. Ok, so I wasted my time talking about it. There was nothing on the aquarium that the little bearded dragon was in saying that it was on hold. And then I asked her when she was getting chameleons. She gave me like a attitude like she didn't know when and did not wanna help me find out the prices for these things. So I just walked out and left. I've been here before i've never seen her and I don't wanna come back...

I was sold the wrong fish it ate half my tank I thought I was going to be compensated as gift card was mentioned turns out I only got my money back for a fish that's worth more as it doubled in size it ate half my fish normally everything good ..

I just bought a snake from this pet store for 500$ and the snake has mites. Would definitely not recommend them for animals especially snakes because they probably all have it and the vet bills are expensive to get rid of them!

Beware of this store. My son bought a puppy at the colonie center location. Took her to the vet right away she had severe worms and a parasite only gotten by well water. Vet knew right away this was a puppy mill puppy. Got ahold of the owner they would not pay the vet bill as promised if you got a sick puppy. My son had his sweet lovable baby for six years The whole time she suffered from health issues. Many vet visits and nothing helped. So glad NY passed a bill to put a stop to these stores that sell sick puppies and for outragious prices. They are only there for profit and could care less about the animals.

A small gem in the middle of a urban area. A lot of selection for exotics and plenty of toys. Treats and foods for those exotics. I was super impressed and happy with the selection available for both reptile and small animal. I saw there was a good bird section too. But I have no birds. I purchased two rats and they are super sweet. Great place would recommend!!!

The employees here went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience getting my new Nanday Conure. They were all SO nice and knowledgeable and really treated my baby as one of their own in their care, which is especially important in my opinion. A place where the employees care more about the animals is a big green flag. I can’t thank this place enough for the best bird, taking great care of him before I found him, and always having everything I need; even if it’s just advice!

They have a great selection of exotic pets, and depending on which employee you talk to they can be friendly. But the other employees acted unprofessionally when I asked them the temp. of the water that my newts tank was at when I went to go buy him. They told me that they don't have a themometer. What pet store doesn't have a themometer?! Newts are supposed to be kept at 65-72 degrees or they are at risk if getting limb rot/ other diseases if their enclosure goes higher than 72 degrees. They did not have a themometer in the tank and kept him in their warmest room with the reptiles. Newts are amphibians not reptiles, and require different temperatures. I asked how old he was and they said an adult. I told them that he couldn't be if he's a Spanish ribbed newt and he's only 3 inches then he's an eft/juvinial I asked how much they think he will grow they said only and inch. I looked it up online and it said that he will grow up to 8 inches!!! These people obviously don't do their research on their animals and don't know how to take care of them. When I got my newt he was very skinny , and so hungry. He ate so much when I got him and wouldn't stop. Efts need to be fed everyday and I'm not sure if they fed him everyday. But older newts that are full grown can be fed 3-4 times a week. He's now fine, thank God. So to everything pets please do your reasearch on how to take care of newts, or don't sell them. Oh yeah I forgot that they also told me that he's a male. Well because he was 3 inches he had to be no older than 3 months. It's impossible to know the efts gender until 10 months old. And if anything I thing he will actually turn out to be a she. But who knows. Make sure if you buy animals here to ask for their warranty. It doesn't cost anything but if you dont ask they probably won't give it to you. Also they had him in a 5 gallon tank but he needed to be in a 10 gallon tank at least. The first photo is the first day we got him. He is way too skinny in the first photo. Young newts need to be fed everyday and I don't think they did that. The second photo is Groot after one week of having him. He's healthy now.Update 6/27/2019 in the last few weeks I've had him he's grown an inch!! For some reason Google won't show my picture of him after a week of having him. But he doesn't look too skinny now.
