A very unique store! The prices are mostly in yen so there is a conversion sheet to follow. I think I would have gotten more items if I actually knew what they were. There isn’t a lot of English in the store which can be either fun or frustrating. There is a wide range of items that I could decipher which was great, from kitchen knives to Japanese soda to disposable underwear for both men and women.The employees are pleasant and the music is awesome.

A very interesting Japanese based novelty store. Some very unique and useful gift items. Prices start at $1.99 Items are nicely displayed and store is open and inviting! Great for Holiday stocking stuffers!

I was a little confused at first about the pricing system. Took me to go through half the store to figure it out and then I had to backtrack. So basically everything is $1.99 unless it has a Yen symbol next to it. Then you have to look up at the wall to see what the price is in dollars. Slightly inconvenient and it's not quick but once you know it's easy.I love the Japanese products, back in the day Japanese made the best electronics. Unfortunately their electronics are Chinese.... Nonetheless they have very cool things in there from pencil erasers, gardening supplies, storage, and food.I bought a toothbrush, a nail clipper, and a lazy eyed stuffed animal cat.

Great Japanese store. Decent prices, products start at $1.99 and can go up to about $10. Have a wide variety of items which can be both cute and practical. You can easily spend about $20 with little to no effort. Just wanted to mention there is no return policy, this is stated on the register.

I recently found this store it is well lit and organized. The only issue I have is identifying prices even though they have charts all over the store listing the USD price. To sum it up, the store carries inexpensive storage solutions, stationery, gift wrapping, kitchenware, gardening, asian novelties and more.

A very interesting store! It's like entering a whole different world when you step through the doors. The Asian snack selection is amazing. Daiso is definitely a place I will be visiting often in the future. Also, the store's ambiance and music is very uplifting.

cute, just like the ones in japan.... except for the conversion rates. trying to pass off 100¥ as $2 usd is sooo crazy (when 100¥ = $0.78), i understand it probably costs extra to import but more than twice as much seems extreme to me.

So many cute little items to buy for your house like slippers, candles, wicker baskets, etc. The selection of snacks and drinks are good! Tried the honey butter chips and a seltzer, I believe. Very affordable, too.

Jess, is a phenomenal manager.I am eager to purchase certain item I love from Daiso and asked to speak with the manager when I saw it was out of contact me, she took down my number to contact me when it is restocked.I am super impressed with her follow up and professionalism.Great job Jess!

Unique shopping experience in the heart of Manhattan. I stepped in here and felt transported to Tokyo. The staff here is diverse and helpful and the shop itself is a one stop shop for anything you could possibly need for your home, garden and office. Every section is impeccable organized too. I especially loved the self checkout option because the queue to leave was filled with shoppers paying cash, you can skip this process by paying with your credit card at the self checkout terminals. A+

This is a Japanese owned and operated dollar store which competes with amazing savings downstairs. I have to admit, this is a fantastic new store in the midway shopping center. If you need things for around the house or personal items, this might be your place. The prices are fantastic. Most items are a $1.99. Unless otherwise specified, which is sometimes hard to figure out, items are extremely inexpensive. The place is bright and clean. The workers are helpful. Every aisle is labeled properly and you can get Around the store easily with having to ask questions. They have a little bit of everything. Household, baking, gardening, cosmetics, holiday, footwear, bags, food, candy, ornaments and more. Give this place a try soon. If it gets busy it's because there's only for cashiers at any given time. This holiday season may be crazy.

An interesting store. Gators primarily to a Japanese market. But you find some good finds here. The quality is not great but the prices are amazing. You're looking for a knick knack or something that you don't want those last for a long period of time but not spend a lot of money on. This is your place. Very eclectic list of items they sell

One of my new favorite places! So many cute and useful things. There's a little bit of everything: pillows, slippers, notepads, gardening, laundry items, snacks, candy, drinks, makeup, etc. And, all of it is imported from Japan...I think. Definitely recommend!

Friendliest, cleanest, most knowledgeable Daiso in New York that I’ve been to! Plus, it’s *huge*. More like this, please! Visiting from New York City, pleasantly surprised at the shopping area next to and near it as well. Very well stocked/wide variety of inventory and even had some things I didn’t know I needed. Near public transportation on Bee Line, which connects seamlessly with NYC’s MTA if you are coming from NYC/not from Scarsdale and don’t have (or want!) a car. Nice thing about the surrounding area for people w/out cars— there’s sidewalks! Pedestrians actually have rights in the burbs too! It’s not just car hell! Crossing the street didn’t make you feel like the 80s video game Frogger (for anyone who remembers). Very pleasant experience. I think I’ll be returning.

I absolutely love it, I went for a 4 hour drive just to go here and it is very much worth it. Workers are very nice and the place is clean. Will definitely come back here again one day!!

Nice discount store. They do post decoding information which is needed since most everything written is in Japanese. Staff are helpful and friendly. Bring a reusable bag or buy one from them. Some interesting items not seen elsewhere. Many items are $1.99.

a well-sized daiso that’s very clean and organized ! i had no trouble finding what i needed, and every worker i’ve interacted with on my various visits have been pleasant and helpful. definitely my favorite daiso to go to when i want to take my time and look at everything without getting in the way of other customers or employees.

Fun dollar store (most items are $2.50), great place for purchasing good quality plastic and fabric containers if you want to Marie Kondo your home. Also tons of kawaii stationary and snacks.
