What an amazing animal hospital! Pets in my family have been going to Central Animal Hospital since the mid 1990s, and I can't more wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary hospital. Compared to any other animal hospital that I worked with for care of my pets, Central Animal Hospital is by far the most caring, honest, and most efficient. Most recently, my pets have been seeing Dr. Pagan, who is absolutely wonderful. She is thorough, thoughtful, and is very transparent and honest about the variety of treatment options available. All of the staff in the office are also fantastic, and my visits have always been very pleasant with hardly any wait time. I have recommended Central Animal Hospital to multiple friends, and everyone has been very grateful to find such an amazing veterinary practive. Thank you, Central Animal Hospital, for everything you have done for me and my family's pets over the years!

The veterinarians and staff here are superb.They take great care of your pets. Recently my 11yr old border collie had a tooth extraction and they took all the necessary precautions to make sure she was safe to go under anesthesia. Central animal hospital is one of the best veterinary care in westchester.

I was first told about CENTRAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL when I had a very sick dog and the vet that I had been going to for many years was to busy to see my dog and I was shocked! I called CENTRAL ANIMAL CLINIC highly recommended by a friend thinking It would be difficult to get my dog seen by a vet that we didn’t know but they welcomed us with such kindness and understanding. Now we have a new dog Ruby Rose and feel so fortunate that we have a place where we can get the best care possible. My husband took her for her shots and was so impressed with how friendly and accommodating the CENTRAL ANIMAL CLINIC is. Get the best for your furry friends.

This is the most amazing place to have your pet be cared for. ALL of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and kind. They care about your pet well-being and they are flexible with appointments. They are open six days a week and have appointments late evenings. The vet provides me with prescriptions that I can get filled anywhere I would like and is very detailed and thorough when examining Braxton. They are highly recommended 👌!!!

very nice place to bring your pets for top care.. I have dealt with every vet there and they are great. My last visit was with Dr Alison and she was amazing.. Very caring and explained everything great. She called me the next day with blood test results and again explained everything in terms that I could understand!! I highly recommend Dr Alison. her tech who worked with her was wonderful.. I believe her name was Ally.. She will make a wonderful Vet one day!!!

I have been using Central Animal Hospital for many years. The receptionist, technicians and especially the doctors are very compassionate and caring. Dr Gross has been my doctor for a long time, she is a wonderful caring doctor. I wouldn’t take my pet anywhere else.

I have been bringing my cats to this facility since 2000. They have taken good care of my pets and do listen to me when I object to certain shots I feel cause more harm than good to an elderly homebound pet. They do not suggest unnecessary procedures either. And they always offer to trim the claws when I take my cat in. I do not let them take my cat in the back for anything anymore because he is fragile, and I need to watch him. They are very welcoming about doing what they need to do to monitor his health and I appreciate that. The variety of veterinarians at the facility is wide and one should be able to find a vet they vibe with for the pet and for themselves.

I have been taking our cat Charlie to Central Animal Hospital since he was a kitten … he sees Dr Gross and is also boarded there. Everyone takes such good care of him . I trust all explicitly. They are kind and compassionate…It is a bit of a travel to get there but so worth it.

We’ve spent a lot of time at CAH in the last few months with our ten year old dog who had a kidney infection (and has kidney disease). Everyone is so friendly and caring, and we are especially grateful for Dr. Pagan who has guided us through this process with compassion and honesty.

Central Animal Hospital is a fantastic, local place for your pets. In fact, it's one of the reasons we chose to move to this area - we knew it was the best care available for our doggo. Dr. Tammy Pagan is incredible; the most kind, compassionate, patient, and thorough vet anyone could ask for. Central Animal Hospital is a haven for pet-owners and pets alike because of the excellence of the services offered here. My 2.5 yr old GoldenDoodle has been in the care Dr. Cheryl Gross ever since I got him. She has been wonderful with the advice and the guidance I sought from her. Previously, my Labrador Retriever who lived to be almost 14, was cared for, lovingly, by Dr. Michael Woltz and his team. I have nothing but the highest level of respect for what the doctors and staff at CAH do for our pets. They are all knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and oh so loving towards their patients. I always rely on CAH for the best information regarding my pet's health. Their information is well-researched and the care provided here is of the best quality. I am thankful I have this facility available to me.

I always have a positive experience when bringing my little Louie to the doctor(s)at Central Animal Hospital. Everyone from the moment you walk in are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Louie is a senior and they take their time with him. The doctors are great!! They return calls, follow up post visits with lab results and exam findings. And the office is immaculate.

I have been looking for a new Veterinary Hospital for my 13 1/2 year old Yorkie, Samantha, some time now. Our previous place was just not the best option for her as I feel that she needs more attention and care given to her now. All my pet parents can agree with me that we want the absolute best care for our pets. The commute for me to Central Animal Hospital is not bad so I gave it a try. I took Samantha in yesterday and everyone at the front desk is very kind. I got there pretty early since it was my dog's first time. Dr. Palatt came out and escorted us in. It is quite a relief for me that we are allowed into the room with our pets because not every place does that! From the start, Dr.Palatt was incredibly nice, very patient and excellent at communicating with me. She thoroughly examined Samantha and explained what she was doing step by step as she examined her. Samantha has had a cough and a few bumps on her belly for some time now that the other Vet place ignored. Dr. Palatt expressed that she did not find these “normal” so we did a scan of her chest and thankfully got our answer. She is now on medication for her cough and we will get her bumps monitored every once in a while to make sure it is nothing severe. Her bumps are normal for now but I am glad the Doctor was so patient and explained everything to me. While Samantha was getting her blood drawn and Chest X-Ray done, Dr. Palatt would come in very frequently to keep me updated and let me know how she was doing. Overall, from my experience they do not suggest anything unless it is completely necessary and do not just try and get you to pay insane amounts unless it is truly needed for the care of your pet. We could have gotten a biopsy for Samantha but the Doctor explained it is not that precise and she had also mentioned surgery but Dr. Palatt explained that Samanatha’s age plays a huge role and we do not want to put her at risk. She put all the options on the table but never made me feel as though I was obligated to make any drastic financial or personal decision. She is incredibly understanding and kind. I am very happy with this experience and I now found my place to take Samantha and knowing she will be in the best care with Doctor Palatt. Thank you so much!!!

Great vet, every doctor I've worked with has been very understanding. This past time, they were able to give my overweight cat a "hygiene trim" aka shaved her backside since she has trouble keeping it clean. She seems so much more comfortable now 😻

After the primary doctor left ..... ( I prefere not to mention ) the quality of care dropped profoundly. The best move I ever made for Iriving was to switch to Central Animal Hospital and Dr. Pagan. (PS: also highly recommended by Scarsdale Buzz )

My complaint is and it's a big one; meds which requires a prescription like any flea/tick or heartworm medicine can't be sent to Petmeds. Central Animal Hospital WILL NOT send a script to Petmeds but they will give you a written script which you can then mail it in yourself to Petmeds.Other vets will electricity/fax the script in byt Central Animal Hospital won't. They would rather you buy all meds from them and they change much more then on-line places like Petmeds.I think it makes things much harder and more expensive for the owner.

I have been going there for 4 years now with my dog Blue and everyone is so nice especially when there is an emergency with your pet. The vet techs are awesome and handle my dog with care and his vet is awesome and takes the time to listen.
