We found the restaurant almost by accident. It’s not easy to find, they could do a better job of making themselves known.It’s the only real sit down restaurant in the pines. The food was good, there was nothing wrong with anything, I just think it had a lot more potential. We got the seafood spaghetti and the steak. It was good. Prices are above average, similar to top of the bay, but not as nice of a place. The best word I can describe this place is normal.

What a hidden gem! I’m used to burgers and fries for fire island eats, but this place could be in the Hamptons! Lovely interior. I don’t know what these queens are talking about, but this place has excellent service! Noah was very attentive and personable. I’ve never had fresh bruschetta brought to the table as a standard appetizer, brilliant! The blueberry burrata special was unique and delicious, and the seafood linguine was chock full of shrimp! (Unlike most places that just throw some on top) I was very impressed by the entire experience. My only complaint is that they don’t have a brunch service because I can only imagine how spectacular that menu would be too! I hope they expand in the future.

Didn't feel welcome, we were first to arrive, and got the "last" non reservation table. There were 8 tables available the whole time we were there, but thankfully we got the last. Whew! The plates weren't warm and the food wasn't either. Meh overall, should have stuck with the free options we brought with us.

Customer service is typically very much non-existent in Fire Island, which made the excellent service we received at Pines Bistro such a treat. Coming from NYC, I was nervous about indoor dining. But the space was large and there was plenty of room between us and other tables. The food was delicious and I will most definitely be returning on a future trip!

went this past summer with my boyfriend for our anniversary and it was phenomenal - so good that I remember it months later. every dish we had from appetizer to dessert made the clean plate club. TRY THE CALAMARI 👏👏

We originally wanted to go to the blue whale, but it was closed. We went here and were surprised at how good the food was. Service was excellent. I got the rigatoni and sausage and it was one of the best dinners I’d had in a while. The dessert was also great. Best restaurant on fire island!
