I always get the best results from a project when I use Brinkman’s Sayville for advice and products! Mike, Phil and Samantha were a huge help refinishing a large, Mahogany, bar top at Fire Island. They were able to tell me exactly what I needed so I only had to make one trip! I was given great instructions on how to strip, sand, stain and polyurethane the bar. Everyone there is always so helpful!

So I always get top notch service here and they always have what I need, but this time I am just so happy I had to write a review. I believe the young woman who helped me is named Hope, but it was a while ago so I could be wrong. I was making this key rack for a friend and looking for hardware. Another employee had shown me where the hooks were a few days before and I was looking for a different finish. She saw my project and showed me amazing things on high shelves I would have never found on my own, or been shown if she hadn't taken an interest in why I was asking for hooks. I can't believe I made this. Couldn't be happier! Thank you Hope!

I went in to look for an extension cord that had a "step on" button. It was packed away with Christmas decorations. They took my name and # so I didn't have to wait while they looked. The next day it was left on my front porch with this nice note!!! Incredible service and such a great guy!!! Thankyou Hank for being so kind!!! SHOP LOCAL!!!! 💜💛

I recently needed a repair on my ECO weedwhacker. The store manager Gabe was very helpful and was able to fix it himself quickly at no cost rather than having me send it off for repairs. I am very appreciative for his excellent customer service and I highly recommend Brinkmans.

Brinkmann's is wonderful; the search engine for their website / online purchase... awfulentered: switch box cover whiteresult: 146 pages (not items) (?!)... apparently the search uses 'or', not 'and' when filtering. (anything with any of those words vs. all of those words) AURGHHHthe one thing they ought to quickly be able add is an option for "in stock only". the quantity of "available / special purchase items" can be staggering; but mostly ....in the way of my being able to make a purchase of what i need today.

Bought a new snowblower and upon pickup Brinkmann presented me with a resealed box. Loose parts were visible when the box was opened in store. In store staff stated it was fine but did order a replacement at my request. I was picking the item up from out of state and asked if they could expedite the shipping to fit my original pickup plans. Was simply told they couldn’t because the truck was full. Overall I had higher expectations for the business to try and make things right at the time of issue but at a later date I did receive a phone call to hear out my issues.

I haven't gone inside in a few year's, but after reading other peoples reviews, I would like to update my last review. I now give Brinkmans 5 star's. I use to go there almost every week, when I worked at St. John's Lutheran Church, and every time I went in the workers were very helpful, even knew my name.

This is what every neighborhood needs. Old school hardware shop. The folks that work here are ridiculously friendly as well. I work in Sayville and live in Holbrook. Both towns have a true value and both are amazing. Lucky me

Very expensive but it is a local hometown hardware store. If you’re passing a Home Depot definitely go there but if you don’t want to drive that far, it’s a pretty good alternative but you have to weigh the price of the item. Sometimes the item is 40% more at Brinkmann’s

We found them very helpful. We own a house in the Pines and if you know the island it can be very difficult to get things here when you’re doing a job and you runout of something, I needed four more gallons of deck stain and they actually delivered it to the ferry ⛴ this was a huge help to us otherwise we would have waisted a whole day to go and get it.

Whether I need something for home repair or maintenance, painting projects of any size or lawn and garden care, I know I can find the product I need and count on the most helpful and knowledgeable staff you could ever ask for.

Great hardware store with knowledgeable employees. Their return policy is comprehensive and they don't make a fuss or argue when attempting to return something. I recommend getting their rewards card though it hasn't helped me in any way yet.Also the store is powered by solar panels so on particularly cloudy winter days you may experience their backup generator come on :)

These folks are amazing, and have the best service I've seen. I've purchased from them for years, but recently bought a top-of-the-line Weber grill from them. Turns out, I bought the WRONG kind (totally my fault) but I only realized it after they'd assembled it, shipped it across on the ferry and it had been delivered to my beach house. Without ANY issue, they took it back, ordered the correct one, assembled it, and had it to me in the space of a week. Truly exceptional.
