Rock Da Casbah is the best restaurant in Saugerties. If you like good food and you like a good vibe to a place it is the best place in town. Burgers were cooked to perfection without too much wait, fries perfect, and the family loved the food. Service was impeccable and competitively priced. This restaurant is the best, so go there more often and support your local businesses. Rock on

My boyfriend and I went today for lunch and some drinks. We both enjoyed the Asian wings, the flavor was different and quite good. He ordered a burger (topped with pepper jack and avocado, and cooked medium rare) with fries and enjoyed both. I ordered a short rib sandwich with fries. The fries were freshly cut, my favorite! And the short rib sandwich was so good that I only offered him ONE bite of it. The rest was for me 😋. We both loved "the heartbreaker" cocktail, enough so that he ordered one for himself!The owner, I believe, was very attentive, chatted with us and gave our compliments to the chef!!Very cute little restaurant. Very cozy feeling as well. Can't wait to go back. 😊

We were passing by and saw this place; the burger was delicious, the beer and the cider were also really good. We ordered the blueberries cheese cake and it was the best cheesecake I have ever had, not too sweet and with real fresh blueberries. We will come back guys, we are happy to find a new place in this area. The music was really good too.

Really surprisingly good gluten free bread and pasta. Very tasty food. Complicated spicing. Really well thought out. An artisan at the height of their powers.Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand our weird needs.Great experience overall.

My daughter and I were in town for the horse show, and for a quaint artsy town we were a bit disappointed with the availability of vegan food (one can only eat so many plain salads and falafel burgers 😕)... until we found this place! Awesome vegan options - crafted salads, unique pasta, magic mushrooms, disco fries, mac & cheese... all with vegan versions. Once we ate here my daughter didn't want to go anyplace else for the rest of the stay (and really, neither did I). Service was at times a bit slow but they were clearly busy and clearly everything is made to order... so perfectly happy to wait a bit for perfection! (If you want fast food... go to a fast food place). They even brought out activities to keep my daughter busy during one visit. The live music was great. Drink menu fantastic! We're coming back in the fall and will be sure to make a reservation every night. Vegan or not, you are missing out if you visit Saugerties without stopping here.Vegetarian options: Awesome options for many dishes to be made vegan/vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Awesome options for many dishes to be made vegan!Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to my 14 year old daughter.

Great vibe, delicious food and a good beer selection, what else can you ask for ?! It's a small space but there is good spacing between the tables. There was live music when we had dinner and the service was fast. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

Many Vegan options which was a big plus! Fun decor! Chairs made out of guitars!Loved Sunburst garden salad with jerk tempeh!! Also, edamame & tamarind potstickers very tasty. Disco fries could have been hotter & crispier. Should have brought to table right out of fryer!!Vegan chili, vegan Mac & cheese, magic mushrooms good. Grass-fed beef burger okay. For the price, it should have been outstanding. Lacked seasoning, I guess. Vegan strawberry ice cream tasty.All & all very nice experience for our group of 3. Super friendly bartender/ waitress with red hair. Very enjoyable listening to music! Would go again & try other dishes. Thank you

This is such a cute place! We were trying to go to another restaurant in the area that was closed and ended up stumbling upon here. So happy we did! The place had well crafted drinks and amazing service! We sat at the bar and chatted with Kim. She told us all kinds of stories about the area and gave us ideas of how to spend a rainy day in the Catskills. While we didn't eat there, all the food coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. Don't skip on this place when visiting the Catskills!

I did takeout and the food was awesome. I would love to come back after pandemic to sit down for a drink also, it seemed like such a cool spot. The food is way above bar food, especially the fresh soups.

food was good but it wasn't great, the vegan options were very expensive and not a large portion. skip the disco fries. Soup was really good though.the tie dye cheesecake didn't have a cheesecake taste, it was more like a small sliver of birthday cake frosting.A lot of flies hanging around the table and a mosquito lol not their fault but kind of ruined it a little for me loldrink wasn't very strongservice was great though, they were really nice

A pure delight! I had the mushroom soup which was incredible and I highly recommend it. I also had a local kombucha that they call calmbucha. It was pure magic on the first chilly day of fall.

I really enjoyed the food and taps here. It's not a huge restaurant, actually I would describe it as cozy and inviting. I could watch the cook prepare my dinner where I was seated at the bar, he knows magic! Our server was fun and capable.

Had such a great evening at Rock Da Casbah.There was an acoustic guitar performer who was fabulous - he also pulled out the harmonica and flute for some Neil Young and Jethro Tull. Apparently they have live music every Friday and Saturday night.So, I haven’t even mentioned the food which was fabulous. I had the kale salad and vegetarian chilly - both amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly.We finished off with homemade desserts - cheesecake, ice cream and apple crisp.The sugar on top was the owner who was so kind and the maestro of the event that brings together the music with great food and a relaxed atmosphere.We definitely will look to return the next time we visit the Catskills. Great meal!

Wow just wow! Drinks were spectacular! Customer service was wonderful! Can’t even describe how delightful the potstickers and our pasta dishes were. Everything is local and scratch made. I cannot recommend this place enough! I wish we lived more local to try everything on the menu. The woman running the inside was absolutely splendid. 5/5 stars does not do it justice.
