Wonderful ready-made gluten free sandwiches and meals. Deducted a star due to the nonsensical & dangerous gluten cross-contamination of bulk items. We absolutely love Healthy Living but it doesn't make any sense why Wheat flour (containing gluten) is placed directly next to the gluten-free flours. When someone scoops their wheat flour, it spills all over the gluten free flour bins contaminating it all. It's impossible to keep every speck contained within the scooper so it's not the customer's fault. We highly recommend that management fixes this and places the gluten free flours next to other gluten-free bulk items, that way customers don't have to worry about gluten being spilled and mixed in with everything else.Other than that, we love the selection at Healthy Living. Even the hot chocolate choices are local and pure ingredients! Just wish the bulk section was more sanitary, organized and had more sensical precautions taken by management.I uploaded a photo to show the GLUTEN CONTAINING WHEAT FLOUR placed directly next to the gluten-free buckwheat.

When I first moved to the area about two years ago, I started shopping here. The food is of really good quality, and it wasn’t that expensive. They have a great selection of cheeses, good coffee and baked goods, and the staff were always super friendly. Most of that is still true, but at some point over the last month or two, there has been massive price hikes. A bag of groceries I just bought was $84, and I didn’t buy anything extravagant. Again, the quality of the produced and prepared food hasn’t dipped, but it’s really sad to see a place that was once relatively inexpensive go to very expensive so quickly. I can’t afford to keep shopping here, as much as I would like to. Hopefully prices come back down. Still great food and staff though!

This was our first time at Healthy Living. What a great selection. I am looking forward to going back for a morethorough exploration. We don't live close enough to make this our regular store, but when we are in the area, we will go again.

We are a full time RV family and we have been all over the country experiencing all manner of health food stores. Healthy Living in Sarasota by that random mall was seriously one of the best by far. Why, you ask? The bulk section my friend, the bulk section. We live off of bulk or try to - because of our unique living situation. From the get go the cashier helped to weigh our containers and even knew what a Tera weight was (hashtag mind blown) before we went into the isle. Once there, you would not believe the selection. There’s even liquid bulk - tamari, oil, honey, there’s a refrigerated section of sprouted raw stuff. In addition to the selection, the staff is phenomenal. Carla, the bulk guru showed us right where some unique items on our list were located. We were so impressed that we called AJ the manager over and we took a quick pic of all of us in front of the bulk section. Silly as it may seem, if you’re out here in the woods and you run out of oat groats because you didn’t buy them it in bulk at Healthy Living, well you’ll only make that mistake once. Good place, reliable, enjoyable--up until recently (2022-2023). Store seems to have developed inventory issues: Variable availability, and expanding list of items discontinued.Although the employees are courteous, they often don't seem able to provide info on product availability--when or discontinued and why--store decision? supplier or producer issue?Also, recently some price increases seem to exceed the level of increases by local supermarkets for the same items.Jay

I would think twice before you shop at the heathy living supermarket in Wilton NY next to the mall. My wife bought some peanut butter about a week or so ago and she had a taste of it. We both noticed that the date on it said Oct 6, 2023 on it. So we decided to take it back and let them know what had happened and show them the date on the jar. We did NOT want a refund, all we wanted was to exchange it for another one. The girl at customer service as you walk in on the right side of the store said "sure no problem go right ahead" and even made a comment about how old it was. As we return back to customer service the story had changed and she and some other girl at the customer service desk said that with out a receipt they couldn't help us and that we couldn't get an even exchange on the item. They both were snotty and had attitudes. So for the people that shop there check the date's on everything you buy there because they do NOT rotate the items in the store and they do NOT remove out of date merchandise and expect people to buy them. BUYERS BE WERE!!!! This store will get you sick or even worse they can give you some kind Food poisoning. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ITEMS before you buy them.

I absolutely love it here. I won't buy meat anywhere else, and the ability to get local meat, dairy, and produce means a lot to me. I actually look forward to grocery shopping. Sometimes I get sick of hearing myself talk about all the great products I get here lol.

I have been very polite and tolerant towards the staff of woke alternative people in that store. Some are pleasant & some have attitudes, but I put up with it as best I could, because I do like some of your products there, especially produce & local dairy. I have to agree with other reviews here. When thee staff messes up the customer service goes down the drain and these people get hostile they do not how to handle themselves.I have also had special food and dessert orders that came back to me incorrectly. When there’s any kind of controversy, these freaks and weirdos turn into little babies, their smiles evaporate, and it turns into a Hatfield and McCoys situation where the customer is always wrong. I won’t be shopping there anymore. I hope the whole country sees this. God help our retail industry. 🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸

Kind of pricey, but it's a niche market, so I get it. Food is always really fresh. Hot bar saves me from spending copious amounts of time cooking. Staff is nice and welcoming, store is inviting, great selection of products too. Gonna miss this place when I move next year!

Competitive prices and superior quality products. They care about the food you eat and sell nontoxic alternatives to the poisonous, polluting products on your average grocery store shelves. Every time I'm looking for something they don't carry, I just ask at the service desk. They find and add it to the shelves and then they notify me. That's great customer service.

I’ll say this: I’ve given this place multiple chances. Love the conscientiously curated inventory. They have the best produce in town, much of it locally grown, all of it organic, a veritable garden of Eden.The tragedy is, the place is poorly run and the service is inconsistent. Sometimes the salespeople effuse kindness, on other days, outright hostility. Why should customers have to put up with being snapped at and treated as if they’re idiots? On a recent visit, when I wished to replenish a jar of Meyer Lemons (which I’ve bought there before), there weren’t any one the shelves. When I asked someone for help, she snapped that the store has never carried them.The final straw, however, came after yet another specialty food order was screwed up and unsatisfactory. Again (as with past occasions) we were made to feel as if WE were imposing on THEM by pointing out the errors. At no point was any responsibility taken for the mistakes and we were shooed dismissively away. How about a little empathy, at the very least, for a special occasion that was marred? What seemed to matter most to these smug employees was maintaining their status of being 'in the right' and not budging an inch towards any sort of admission. Nice touch. How does rudeness fit into a healthy lifestyle?I've given it years and allowed for ‘everyone has bad days’ rationale for as long as we can. But I'm no longer going to tolerate bad service and unfriendly attitudes in the name of buying local. Others' I've spoken with in the community have had similar bad experiences with the customer service at this store. From now on it’s driving a little further to other locally owned health food stores and tapping caterers and micro-bakers for the special occasions - there are plenty of them out there.

I have never been here before, I walk by it every day on my way to the gym. Sometimes I feel like a child from an eastern European country looking into the homes of the rich during winter, hoping that maybe someday I too can afford the expensive foods that cost more for no real reason. Still good experience, great for living vicariously.

I went there with my friends on July 11, 2020. This supermarket at the Wilton Mall sells food that is healthy. I like this healthy-food only supermarket. I found out this market at the Wilton Mall has strict rules and regulations, and strict state and federal regulations that you are not allowed to eat in that supermarket due to covid-19, and I learned that lesson when my friend, Nelson who was with me bought potato chips there and ate them and shared them with me, and the manager of the Healthy Living Market came over and told him "You can't eat that here." but luckily I didn't buy nothing to eat (or snack) on there. I would like to come here again and buy healthy food that I want, e.g. for lunch or dinner. This Healthy Living Market has a wide selection of healthy food and healthy beverages. The photo here above show its Wilton Mall entrance with its new logo just above it, and the photo below shows its old logo (left), and its new logo (right), and the other photo shows that same entrance leading out into the mall that shows a message about going shopping at that healty food market, and mentions about healthy food that is sold there, just above that same entrance going out into the mall.

They have a great selection of groceries , organic products and drinks. It's attached to the mall and they have a seating area behind the coffee/ espresso bar with comfortable chairs, tables and lots of natural light. There's a salad bar and hot food and public restrooms. It's handicap accessible and everyone there has been really nice and helpful.

This is my new favorite place to shop. I found an expresso coffee there that I get to grind myself for my expresso machine. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are surprisingly affordable.

This place is like hipster heaven in the Adirondacks!! They have everything your little gluten free heart desires. But we love coming for the sushi bar and pre-made good section. Delicious!
