Bought over $200 worth of groceries. Only 1 cashier working, and a bagger who kept stepping away. The cashier finally was bagging as she rang me up. She did not put my bags in my cart but left them on the counter top, turned and started ringing the next customer up. I had to put the bags in my cart on my own. I think it was very rude and lazy of her. I am not very happy with Hannaford right now. Not going to call the manager because he was actually in the store and he could care less. Guess I am going to Market 32 from now on. I'll get some respect. I am 73 and have been shopping a long time.

Staff is incredibly lazy. The young girl at the register refused to bag my groceries, telling me they wouldn’t fit in the bag I brought. Didn’t offer an additional bag or anything so I bagged the groceries for her while a line of people waited behind me, and when everything fit into the bag I brought she refused to look up until I walked away. If you work at a grocer store it’s in your job description to bag groceries, not asking for anything out of the ordinary

I went to Hannaford to pick up some flowers this morning and it was a very seamless experience! We got a very nice set of purple and pink flowers in a bouquet and was even greeted in the store by an employee who was sorting the flowers. She was wishing everyone a happy Easter. I know that not everybody celebrates the holiday, but it certainly made the experience feel better compared to other grocery chains I have had the experience of shopping at. I know this isn’t a reoccurring part in the Hannaford’s supermarket on a daily or weekly basis, so I won’t be using that as a primary basis for rating this location. But from a flowers perspective? They had a pretty good variety and people are very willing to help you!

(I lived on Guam for the last 2 years, where nothing gets to the island if not frozen and then boated there so my opinions may be bias. The fruit isn't rotting? You can find fresh milk, AND it's not $10 a gallon? There's more than 1 option for the thing you want? It's heaven.) My go to grocery shopping spot. Large selection, good deals, fresh produce, and usually not very busy. It is annoying that when you have an issue with self checkout there isn't someone there to help right away, you just have to stand and wait but it's not a huge deal 🤷

This is a large store and it was difficult to find your way around as a new person in the store. The aisles are not all straight. Of course dairy is in the furthest corner from the door like all stores- annoying. Otherwise, it’s clean and well stocked. Very busy on the weekend.

I used to like Hannaford but it’s gone downhill significantly. One thing I couldn’t help but notice recently (and is the focus of my review) is that I am highly confused why they blocked out parking spots for “pregnant women.” This is condescending. We are not disabled when we are pregnant. Hannaford is making pregnant women out to be martyrs. Being pregnant is not a burden. Being pregnant doesn’t mean we can’t walk. In fact walking while pregnant is healthy. This was a really odd and inappropriate choice on behalf of whoever approved this. I went back to Hannaford today and saw the signs removed thankfully. We don’t need parking blocked out for pregnant women! There isn’t enough parking as it is. Being pregnant doesn’t mean we can’t walk! Who implemented this? Hannaford’s upper management has gone off the walls.

We love Hannaford. Their produce is good, meat is nice quality and well butchered, and they have a great variety of store brand products that are better than a lot of name brand. Their cheeses are great, as is most of their store brand dairy. Their prices are higher than some other grocery stores and I don't always do a full shop here. Curbside pickup is awesome and it is done through the store not with that horrible price gouging Instacart. Bakery goods are hit or miss, cakes are great but some of the pricier items aren't worth the money in my opinion.

I've already reviewed Hannaford, not sure why Google maps is asking again? This place is nice. I wish the employees would tell you when you start to head for a door that it is locked and you need to use the other one. They are usually helpful though. Nice produce, not as expensive as other local markets.

Hectic store both inside and in the parking lot. I don't like the setup here. Employees could use a crash course on customer service with a friendly demeanor. Higher than average prices it seems and the smells near the deli area make me nauseous. I do like the self serve checkouts and their app is pretty good as far as deals, coupons, perks and offers. They have the convenience of a pharmacy here as well.

They always seem to have whatever I need in stock.Aside from always being busy, this location is wonderful & convenient. Always helpful and friendly when I need help.Their inhouse brand of products are a great value and quality. When trying to save some $, try Hannaford branded items.

To be honest I don't actually shop in Hannaford, however their clynk service is just plain and simple my godsend. Being able to just drop off my returns and they get processed for me is a time saving lifesaver. Also since I don't do the returns, it makes it easy to ignore the money from them. I use the returns from the year to buy my Christmas gifts

A very nice grocery store. The staff seem very friendly. Even during all the crisis they still maintain a positive attitude. They’ve been doing an okay job keeping stock during the virus but have still had issues keeping all the shelves stocked as normal. Still hard to get pasta in this store. I would think that they would be ordering more at this point since they’ve been dealing with high demand for a few months now. I hope they get that in shape. Despite the circumstances great store and good staff.

Decent location, short wait time, moderate prices that seem to increase every month. However, love the pharmacy. Staff are professional and so friendly, have received several immunizations there and do a good job. As a retired RN this meant a lot to me.

Nice produce selection and quality. Weekly I find a few items better priced then surrounding stores. However, if the price is the same as a competitors, I'm buying here because the quality is usually better. Self checkout is available which is a great feature.

Always clean, well-stocked, good prices. In and out and never have to pack my own bags. Love the Deli Deal. Also - a nice cup of Green Mountain coffee in the bakery. What's not to love?

I am not usually in NY supermarkets, but was visiting family and dinnertime would soon arrive- enter Hannaford! The prices are not the cheapest, but if you are tenacious you will find some good buys.Had everything I needed except a grilling pan! And like any good NY supermarket, your average brew is plentiful here!Salmon was pretty fresh and wild caught.I was pleasantly surprised!

Today I visited Hanaford and visit butcher area in Hanaford. I requested shaved cut of pork. He said okay and he give me back big 4 pieces cutted of pork.I told him again "I request shaved pork" and he told me "why you does not stop when I cut the pork" and he also told to another customer " what do you exactly need?"I feel like I'm being ignored and I'm offended.I do not know why he bring my pork and cut the pork without my exact request. I do not know his name but he is old butcher guy in SaratogaSprings Hanaford store.

It's the cleanest market in town prices aren't that outrageous or gouge and they don't rise and fall dramatically I like to take advantage of the membership all you have to know is your phone number and you rack up points that can be used to purchase some real goods

I've had to change my opinion of this store in the past few months. They are sorely lacking when it comes to keeping up with online ordering and delivery. On every occasion that we've placed an order there has been a mistake in our order. Nearly every time we've ordered deli meat to be shaved, it has come thick. The meat went in the garbage because it wasn't what we needed and we weren't allowed to return it. They have tried to substitute meat that costs four times as much as what we ordered. They won't accept returns due to Coronavirus but have no effective way of ensuring that customers get what they need and paid for. It's unfortunate, but they simply cannot compete with the larger stores in terms of online ordering. Their payment and pickup system is complicated and slow.
